I should have listened to all the reviews I read. I DO NOT recommend this rental company. Delivered rentals three days ahead of event, did take them back till day of event, but very nasty. Very unprofessional company.

I will never rent from them again. Worst place ever. I placed an order and had to cancel and they wouldnt give me a refund. Store credit only. I wanted my money back because the price was alot more then another rental place.

These people are horrible! The woman that owns this place is incredibly unprofessional. I was told I could pick up the items at 4:00PM one day and then I got a call and she demanded that I show up at 3 and that she would not be waiting around for me. There was nothing I could do since I was not off work until 3:30. She was incredibly rude and, as cowardly as it sounds, she wasn’t even there when I came to pick the things up. I will no longer be renting from these people they are nothing but rude and crude!

I used to Jackhammer for about 5-10 minutes it quit working I called the company they said I broke it is my fault they gave me a brand new one apparently I guess brand new me to beat the hell on looks like its a hundred years old I get a refund for them give me a damaged product

I am an event planner and I always get my rentals from Party Makers. They are the best! They say you can never have all three, Fast, Affordable, Quality...But at SC Party Makers you really can!!Events can be rather fluid at times constantly changing and this company GETS IT. They help me with last minute changes and orders and make it the perfect event for my clients. When you call the office you will most likely get Ana and shes awesome.There are enough stresses with events, order your rentals from Party Makers and you can relax about that part at least! I know I do :)

I rented from them for a wedding. Salad forks were never delivered. Wedding photos of table setting proved that they never got set- because they never arrived!Yet, she charged my credit card when she says she never got them back. $800 for $200 forks. I disputed the claim. Luckily my credit card company took over.They had no proof that they were delivered yet insisted they were. It was a “he says”, “she says” situation, yet I had pictures to prove my case. The owner was rude and inflexible.They don’t go over what is delivered with the person who is signing for the items, so beware if you rent from them. Go over everything with a “fine tooth comb”!Personally, I will never use this company again.

We have a business here in town and prefer to deal with SC vendors. I have used Party Makers for years and years...for personal and business. They are easy to work with, flexible and always deliver a smile with their rentals!Anna always keeps things running smoothly whether its Thanksgiving dinner tables, a business open house or a family reunion...or an upcoming wedding!

Simply awful. I had used them before for smaller events before choosing them for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. They were bringing everything...tables, chairs, serving tables, linens, plates and utensils. They are located 3 miles from where the event was located. They were scheduled to arrive 1 hour before the party began to allow for set up and decoration. They arrived 5 minutes before the party started. They couldnt be reached by phone and never called regarding running late. Our guests were there when they arrived and they forget the serving tables and had to leave and go back and get them. This left the caterer waiting to set up as well. This ended up delaying the party by an hour. When I reached back out to them the following week to discus the issue, I was simply lied to. Was told they were there 15 minutes late due to traffic and they brought all of the items plus some extras for the inconvenience. I stated that I was there and she cant tell me what happened. I was basically told too bad and that stuff happens. No apology or compensation. They really dont care. I will never use them for anything ever again.

Decided to ignore the other reviews because they were about party rentals and I was renting equipment. MISTAKE!The pressure washer I rented leaked horribly and by the end of the day was no longer working.When I brought it back they were completely indifferent. Basically their attitude was bummer for you.Never again.

Do Not Rent From Mimi at SC Rentals.I have used this company in the past with little or no issues. This time, not only was I charged more than three weeks before the event without notice and they used a credit card that had been closed (I booked with this card six months prior-and we had to cancel the card). I incurred overdraft charges and they will not refund these charges back to the bank so that they can close the account for good. Mimi does not even have the professionalism or the courtesy to return my calls. This charge happened May 29, 2014 and I am still waiting for my refund. Today is June 10,2014.

Sorry to say this but this is one of the WORST companies I have ever had to deal with. We have used them several times and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt when things went wrong but the past two times we have used them they have really screwed us over.Our first bad experience is with renting a coffee maker. One of THEIR delivery guys broke something which was witnessed by us, the customer. When we informed the company they said basically it was our fault because the delivery guy said he didnt do it. They took the delivery guys words over ours and were extremely rude about it. So what did they do? Charged us. When we asked them if they could replace it with a working one, they said no. We offered to even pick one up and they said no. So we spent 2 ours cleaning up the broken glass and trying to fix it in order to be used for our party.Next time we use them the delivery guy informs us that they didnt have everything we ordered and the remainder would be delivered the next day. We couldnt be home during the delivery time so we left our yard gate open for the items to be delivered. We get home from our event to find that the items were never delivered. We immediately call the company and without even an apology we are told there is NOTHING they can do for us. Apparently the delivery men and the office crew dont communicate at all because the woman in the office said she had no idea what I was talking about. She had to put me on hold several times to try and figure out the situation. Which she didnt. She continues by saying that we should have called earlier. Sorry but its not on us to make sure you do your job. After several complaints about how upset we were they said they could refund part of it. Which didnt help us in any way because we couldnt use the rest of the items we rented without them. The woman on the phone was beyond rude and completely unprofessional.I sent them an email explaining how upset we were and how terrible the experience was only to be ignored.Then on Monday the items were never picked up. So we must call them to figure out why they werent picked up. Well they dont know. Again we are doing their job and I must waste another day sitting around to make sure they get their items. Finally the delivery men show up and pack up the items. Only to then inquire about the rest of the items. You mean the ones your company never delivered? Yeah those. Well they are in whatever disorganized warehouse you left them at.Still waiting on a response and our refund.The unprofessionalism, rudeness, disorganization, and poor quality has lost them our business for good.I DO NOT recommend using them. You will be disappointed.

I call to rent 14 chairs im told they have what Im looking for i tell them ill call right back 30 min later they are sold out of what i want and tell me all the have is cheap plastic chairs for fear i wont have any place for people to sit i tell them ill take them. i do some checking around and find the chairs i want for less money then the cheap plastic chairs they were renting me so i call back 15 min later only to be told that my charge is none refundable ....... the way that they do biz is not acceptable i can tell you this both me and the people that i know that do catering will not use this place EVER AGAIN and i would recommend that no one uses them

Horrible! Beware of their bait and switch schemes. Gigi has terrible temper and will not hesitate to make your event day a nightmare. I called on them to help with rental of a tent for an benefit event that is held each year at Dana Hills High school for veterans. I asked to have the same items at were ordered for the event in 2015, and then later called and added tables. I was told by Anna that in 2015 our non- profit parent booster club was not charged correctly so this year the charge would be higher. We agreed and contracts were signed and money was paid. But his year when the tent and tables were delivered to the school, to the exact same place as in 2015 they called it a hard access and wanted to add an additional $150 x 2 for delivery and pick up. Anna called me about 3 hours before we were to start the event with this news and told me I had to sign and fax her back the receipt for this charge. I told her that I was at the school on the football field and didnt have access to a computer or fax and could not do anything until the following day. So then she had Gigi, the horrible manager call me and yell at me. I was called a liar and an evil person and then she said if I didnt pay her the now cost of $200 for the day she would have the tents and tables repossessed immediately. I tried to talk to her and explain that I didnt have access to a fax on the football field of the high school but she just kept screaming at me. So I hung up and had another parent volunteer call her back. We ended up having Gigi come to the school to get her receipt signed - under duress. And if that wasnt enough the next day for pick up she kept volunteers waiting over 2 hours and kept claiming the pick up van had a flat tire . They didnt arrive to pick up until after 12:00 noon and where scheduled for 9:00 AM pick up. As a non profit group we will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the OC small claims court. Please beware if you think to use this company. They have unethical business practices and Gigi will enjoy being rude to you.

(It could have been fatal if it had hit me).With the help of a friend, I was able to pull the cable out of the pipe and replace the Bolt with something similar from my toolbox.When I returned the Drain Auger, Manager GiGi said I was making this story up just to get my $80 back.Ill consider the money lost a VERY GOOD LESSEN LEARNED.RENT TOOLS at Capo Beach Tool Rentals, Home Depot....../.-- ANYWHERE ---->EXCEPT >>>> PARTYMakers on Los Molinos.>>>>>>>> YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Did a great job for me getting right items delivered at the right time. In addition, when we needed to add items the day of the party, they made it happen!

My family rented a 20 X 20 tent for the third time over the past years. This year they showed up and demanded $95.00 to go up 14 stairs on delivery. This short of notice forced us to pay the extra money. We even went down to the office to visit Gigi and was VERY unsatisfied with the results. I will never use them again and will tell everyone about my experience. to summarize, horrible customer service and price gouging. To make things worse, they just packed up and left with the equipment. Totally unacceptable work ethics. DO NOT USE this company!

Pretty rude over the phone, and would not deliver if the order did not exceed $300, so we decided to go with Persiano Events instead.
