Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not enjoyable and Archive was so kind during all of my many freak outs, confirmations, double checking and changes. When going through the planning stages, their design team gave me multiple options to choose from at various price points. On the day of the event, the delivery and setup went smoothly. Archive provided the design and rentals for my April 2017 wedding in Santa Barbara, CA. With a plethora of rental options in Los Angeles, Im so glad I chose Archive after seeing their feature in People Magazine!Jennifer went above and beyond, delivering nothing short of first class service! She is quick, responsive and goes out of her way to get the job done. She offered to do a walk through of my backyard a month prior to the event - coordinating with my florist to ensure all of the elements of the day worked together. She helped the delivery team get everything organized on Friday and even came back on Saturday to set-up my entire dining table! She was there to help with everything from place card settings to working with the florist to pull all of the final details together! Clearly not in her job description, but WOW!! I was in the best hands - everything looked incredible!!I cannot tell you how grateful I am for her generosity, professionalism, and enthusiasm for what she does! Archive isn’t just a rental house with “vintage” inventory. They have a whole team of designers that help make the client’s theme or vision come to life. They can create mood /design boards and they have a full marketing team to help get your event published (if you wish for it to be). You also have the option to go in and walk thru and see the inventory in person or have them mock it up for you so you can get an idea of what the tabletop and inventory will look like on your special day. Styling can be added so you can have the designer come to the event and make the event picture perfect.

I recently attended a baby shower where the parents to be used Archive for the rentals and design of the beautiful space that they had to fill. Archive transformed their space into a Boho Chic DREAM! I was blown away by the design and the way everything was executed - from chandeliers, to a little tepee, to elegant and chic seating for the guests. I showed many of my friends photos of the event because I was blown away and they agreed - they had seen nothing like it! I have been a part of the wedding industry for over a decade now, working as a photographer/filmer- under milighoshdiaries. I cater mainly to Indian weddings around the world, and over the years we have worked with a number of leading vendors across the globe . In my 12 years of experience being in the Indian wedding industry, we have never encountered or met someone as unethical as Daniel November.I was planning my husbands 40th bday and reached out to Archive 3 days before the event to rent some furniture. Archive was to provide transportation as well. I paid in full - $4000 - 2 days before the event and signed a contract, half of this amount was transport cost. I signed the contract in the afternoon and later that evening, our planner who also came on board last minute decided not to follow through, she heavily pursued and influenced me to sign up with archive and It was clear to me later that she only got on board temporarily to take a cut from him and then back out. I also had a medical emergency which led to canceling my husbands 40th bday. Around midnight I emailed Daniel to let them know we are unable to host the event, as not only did the planner bail out but we had no way to execute this alone without a planner and with a medical emergency.I stated on the email to negotiate a fair settlement with Daniel, as I did with all the other vendors and we resolved everything amicably with everyone, except Daniel, who wanted to keep the full deposited amount which was charged on the CC upon signing just 12 hrs prior. He never emailed us back to negotiate this or returned our calls. Instead, there was an email stating that we lose all the deposited money and he cannot refund us anything. Within 12 hrs of signing and canceling a contract, we didnt think it was unreasonable to negotiate on a cancellation fee. Every vendor dealt with the situation reasonably. I personally have accommodated my clients when there has been a cancellation. What took me by surprise is that Daniel took every dime for doing nothing, including the transportation charges, i.e $1800. I would have arranged for a pick up on the day, and we still had that option available until the day of the event, but since it was drawn up in the contract as a deposit we lost all our money.I have never written a negative review for anyone in my life, but I felt the urge to review for the first time given the atrocious behavior and complete lack of ethics.I just cant help but wonder If I was wronged and ignored because I am not a part of the clientele that Archive mostly caters to. As an Indian, this makes me question the importance of my race with regards to ethics/customer service.
