Quick, take it over, have it smogged, move on.

Robert ran my smog check in spite of my arrival at 5:30pm. They close at 6:00pm, but I barely got to his shop at the end of a long day. He ran my test immediately, and I Passed and was out of there in 20 minutes. I really appreciate Roberts professionalism.

I took a car in for a client and the owner was so kind, I will absolutely use him again for my own car.

He works very quickly and does an impeccable job. He definitely has some jokes, so be careful and pay attention to what he says.

I had a check engine light on, but I didnt think this would matter for a smog test. M&M ran the smog test knowing that check engine light will result in failure. This smog professional knowing about this issue and running the test anyway to charge the customer is not an honest business practice. Took my vehicle to another smog business and they were upfront about this and told be they cannot run the test. Just to make sure I took the vehicle to third business, and they too thought that charging for the test with check engine light on was not right. My experience with M&M leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

This guys are very professional and very informative. I called to get a quote after finding them on Google. I went in and got my car fixed. These gentlemen are very attentive and Sean very informative. Great prices as well. They also saved me time and helped me avoid the long lines at the DMV by been able to renew my registration with them. Super fast and convenient. This location is great. They answered my questions over the phone. I arrived as a walk in with no appointment. It took only 15 min to complete the smog check. The shop was clean. It was a hassle free experience. I will be returning again in the future.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR A SMOG CHECK!!! The service was absolutely horrible! I got there at 4:15pm and had an RV being tested in front of me. I was told my car was next and it would be done by 5pm at the latest. When I returned at 4:53pm my car had not even been touched. The man working the shop was in a deep convo with the RV owner. He then proceeded to act like he was hurrying to get my car done...an hour later he tells me his machine is clogged and it wont test my car. All the while he helped out about 4 other customers with newer cars. I just wasted almost 2 hours of my day due to horrible customer service and incompetence. Oh the best part is he said he would call me when the machine is fixed and give me $5 off....what a crappy establishment. The owner should be ashamed

Avoid at all cost!Just came in to do a smog test today and the gray haired guy there was uber rude and obnoxious. He had a bad attitude when I pulled up and it just got worse. I asked him if he was having a bad day and he became openly hostile. He obviously hates his job and does not want to be there, so I left and went to another smog station. I recommend everyone else do the same.

The foreign man was less then polite, was callus, and unfriendly. It is convenient in San Clemente but there are better places not much further with actual kinds of customer service. I would not recommend this to anyone.

If you are San Clemente local, and have lived in the city for a while. This is the place to come. You want to come on a day when there is no one there, or maybe one person. Robert owns the test center will treat you with honor and respect, if you treat him that way. I come in off hours and dont have anything but good results. Since I started using this test center. All four of my children now drive and use Robert to smog their cars.You cant rush a smog test, and they dont maked a lot of money. Keep that in mind.Hogan

Awful service. Seriously recommend you AVOID this place. I paid for a smog check, they started to test it and then told me that because the battery had been recently disconnected, that Id have to drive for 60 miles and then come back, and theyd retest it at no extra cost, as Id already paid. When I came back, I spoke to a different guy who told me that I was a liar. Incredible.

Hidden Gem! ** Robert made me feel comfortable from the beginning. It was so quick and painless, I still cant believe Im done that fast! driving directions off of Avenida Pico go to the back of Via Pico Plaza (East from Avenida) left in the driveway, and head straight to the back for very friendly service, and a good price.

We were referred by friends who were long-time customers and have now used this business for several years. Forget the coupon guys--this is the ONLY place to smog your car. They can make it pass. They do NOT have a conflict of interest, as most other smog places do--since they dont do repairs. They can do a pre-test, if you have concerns. They also can educate you as to things which you have control over which can cause your car to fail--things that you would never have known which can affect the computer (like jump-starting your battery, for example.) Truly customer-oriented! Ask for Chris, he was very helpful and got us in and out quickly.

Waited over 2 hours for my 15 minute service.they told me it would be 45 min wait.the technician was apologetic, but he was a 1 man show doing the best he could.the woman behind the desk was not very helpful or apologetic.they should have let me know it was going to take so long and i would have come back later. i will not be going here again.the smog check was fine, the wait and communication was unacceptable.just get a realistic timeframe and if there are lots of folks sitting around get out of there.
