WELL this Magic Carpet will take you for a RIDE!!! BUT NOT a GOOD one,SADLY! We had a pipe burst in one of our apartments and apartment had to be gutted. We called The Magic Carpet to get estimate on some of the work. They did several things that needed to be replaced including a tiled shower/tub enclosure. On the many jobs completed there were several issues left UNDONE and the promise that someone would return to fix the issues. After 18 months the tiles in the shower started coming loose and the grout started to fall out. Come to find out they did NOT install the backer board all the way down to the edge of tub, leaving about 3/4 inch gap causing the tiles to be pushed in thus cracking the grout and causing it to fall out in chunks. I texted and called Julio and SEVERAL promises were made to return to job site and see, but after Julio FINALLY showed up (at least 5 attempts before he ACTUALLY showed up) EXTREMELY inconvenient to my tenant, Julios response My work only good 1 year! They charged us $1,100 for just the tile job and we had to pay someone ELSE to come and tear the entire shower out and it cost us 2,100 to have the whole job done properly!! VERY costly mistake to use these guys. HORRIBLE quality of work. The old saying you GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

Not very happy. First, the installer left me with no sinks attached at 7 on a Friday night, but it was fixed the next day. Then a tile guy pointed out that there wAS A MISSING END PIECE, AND THE SEAM WAS NOT SMOOTH. I called, and was never contact about those problems, but it still looked nice, This job was finished on June 10th, and now the granite is beginning to stain BAD. Six weeks, and it doesnt even look new anymore. I feel really ripped off. UPDATE: Called to try and find out how to seal the granite the woman hung up on me as soon as she heard my voice. She did that about 6 times. When I went to the store to ask in person, she told me, granite doesnt stain, and I must have done it on purpose: She called me a liar when I told her that the installer said to clean it with pledge all purpose, she called me a liar a second time when I told her the guy who came to check the job only looked at the plumbing. TOTAL RIPPOFF! $2255 should have bought me stone that lasted more than 6 weeks!
