Was my first time getting tint done and it came out really well. They explained all the different kinds to me and pros and cons as far as what id be expecting; as well as price. Was satisfied with my experience with them.

Went with the Wincos 30% tint all around the car and I couldnt be more pleased with how the car turned out. Rob, the store manager, was very professional and took the time to give a very thorough explanation of the all the tint brands, shade options, and warranties that Mothers offered. As someone thats new to getting a car tinted outside of the dealership, this helped a lot with deciding what I wanted. Overall, the experience from start to finish was very pleasant.Pro tip: be prepared to wait a whole day, as this store gets booked up fast. I would try to get an appointment scheduled a week or so in advance.

I pulled up after I got off of work and was instantly greeted by Robert. He explained everything to me in detail and he definitely knows his stuff, also, gave me a demo of all the tints and explained the different grades. I went with the 5% ceramic. They took me right in same day and had me out in a little over 2 hours. The result is beautiful. I am definitely pleased with the outcome and recommend Mother’s!

I got my 2003 Toyota tinted in 2003 at the location on Fredericksburg Road. My car is now 18 years old so of course the tint is now faded and peeling. I called the location on SW Military recently and asked what was needed in order to get my windows retinted since the tint supposedly has a lifetime warranty. When I called recently, I was told that I simply needed to provide the phone number that was used when the tint was applied. I, of course, have that information. And well, the VIN of the vehicle never changes so I figured Id have no problem when I finally decided to take my car in. Back in 2003, I got the tint along with the remote start. I paid hundreds of dollars and the service was great. 18 years later, Id come to find out that theyre a bunch of rude liars who state that its the customers responsibility to hold on to the receipt for 18 years. Who TF holds on to receipts for that long? And why would an employee of Mothers Window Tint have recently told me that I only needed to provide the telephone number that was used only to later find out that the Mothers on SW Military wouldnt actually honor the lifetime warranty? I guess they dont expect cars to last this long and figure theyd never have to provide free tint. Save your time. Save your money. Theres no such thing as lifetime warranty at Mothers Window Tint. Its a scam. The minimum wage employee then goes on to say that he could give me a discount on the tint. Hahaha haha! Why would I return to a business who lies to their customers? DONT GO TO MOTHERS WINDOW TINT. SHOP ELSEWHERE.Edit: Youre absolutely correct. I did call your store today. It was the second time. As I mentioned earlier, I previously called this location and was told that I simply needed a phone number. You NEVER, not once, asked for my name. SMH. You asked if I had my receipt in hand and I responded by saying No. That was no secret. I dont know many people who hold on to receipts for 18 years. Again, when I called the first time, I was told that I simply needed to provide the telephone number that was used when the purchase was made. Theres no need to lie about that. Dont lie, again, when responding to my review. I hung up when you responded, rudely, that it was the customers responsibility to hold on to the receipt. Theres nothing to hide here. Im simply stating facts. Dont tell customers that you offer lifetime warranty on tint when you clearly dont. Period.

They told me they can only tint cars with the black borders on the windows and was unable to tint a 1970 cougar cause they didnt have them borders. Which tells me they use the black borders to hide their imperfections .and have no skill to tint a plain clear window which is a joke and embarrassent for a car tinting business

Well they were charging me $600 for 4 windows and $100 for the back one..maybe cuz Im a lady they saw it as they can poke my eyes ..Not !..I went somewhere else cheaper and they guaranteed my warranty and my tent for a cheaper price

I got there early to get my tint done. They said first come first serve and that’s exactly what happened they called me about 3 hours later and told me it was ready. They told me what I can and can’t do for the next couple of days as the tint settles. It was an easy comfortable experience. I didn’t feel pressured into buying anything extra. I told them what I wanted and they explained everything on how tint works and I would recommend them any day.

I got my tint done in 2017 with 3 year warranty. My drivers side window started to peel Jan 20 . I called mothers and they made it right with no hassle much to my surprise! Robert was easy to deal with great customer service.

Ridiculous prices customs is better prices

I am a very happy wife and pleased with my tinted windows on my car. Cost a little over $700.00, but so worth it. Purchase the ceramic front windshield tint and the more expensive tint package, it has the UV Ray Rejection, Infrared heat Rejection, and Solar Energy Rejection. It also has Lifetime Warranty. They stayed longer after hours to finish my car, fantastic staff that is knowledgeable of their window tinting, stereo equipment, auto alarms and security systems.Our family will be back for future purchases and will tell our friends, families and co- workers about Mother Windows Tint on 1012 Southwest military drive.

I’ve been going here for years so when I got a new vehicle I brought it in for tint and alarm. Robert was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Great quality work and customer service!

They quoted one price, and attempted to charge me $70 more than the quote when checking out. The building was clean, and the materials seemed decent quality, but make sure to get any offer in writing before saying yes to it, as their prices apparently vary by the minute. Additionally, I was informed that when theyre busy, the technician would slap out a job in about 45 minutes, but was assured theyd make sure that they took the time to do mine right, as I was buying a higher end package. Ill try going somewhere where theyll take pride in ALL the work they do.

We had the windows on our truck tinted and the warranty was about to run out when it started to peel. They replaced it without any problems.

Best advice is to go early and get out early. Had fantastic service from the guys in the back up to the salesman in the front. The guys took care of me and the prices were good. I was pleased with the services and my cars looking good and staying cool. Highly recommended.

I have gone to this Mothers Window Tint for both of my vehicles. Each time was a pleasant experience in which the staff explained what types of tint were available catering to my needs and monetary funds at the time. They carry high quality tint (3M, Ceramic, etc.), something that many smaller tint business do not do. These products are great and backed by either lifetime or multi-year warranties which eased my mind throughout my purchases. Though slightly more expensive than the smaller companies, I still recommend this location.

Tint on the back window was not cut straight and there are gaps. Will be returning next week, since I live 1.5 hours away. Edit: Its been 1year since Ive gotten my tint and its holding up great! I took it back when I got a chance and they fixed my tint problems with no hassle. Thanks again

Not sure how long the tint is supposed to last. I thought it was a lifetime warranty. The tint started peeling after 2 years. Its been about 5 but I won’t be going to them to get it redone cause they refuse to stand by their work. I’ve called and was told nothing could be done. I’d post a picture if I could.

Tint looks like it was cut by a pre schooler learning to use scissors. Tint on one window was cut too short leaving a gap on the bottom when rolled up completely.

First time tinters welcome!As a past owner of a hand-me-down car i was fortunate enough to get a new car. It wasnt tinted and i didnt know what to get. Robert is very informative in his explanation of what they have available. His speech is in no way just a salesperson pitch but genuine recommendations. Dont be afraid to ask questions or think about it. They give out samples as well. Glad to have gotten amazing tints for this Texas heat.

My husband and I just bought our first Brand new car (2017 Chevy Equinox) and were very hessitant to put the right tint on our new ride. We showed up to Mothers window tint and were very pleased with our salesmens customer service and his knowledge of every type of tint. We even were able to walk in the back and see how the tint was coming out. My remote start wasnt starting anymore,it turned out to be the brain of the alarm this guys checked/changed and fixed the problem without charging me a single dime, I highly recommend this guys to anyone.

The gentleman who greated us at the front desk was very knowledgeable and upfront with all of his products, he was patient as we were deciding the type of tint we wanted and shade, I was in and out in less than an hour.
