In the past week I have spent well over 3 hours on hold and more than 5 hours waiting for a call back after reaching their automated system.I am on hold right now as I leave this review.I only wish Google allowed 0 starsIt all started when I requested my containers they were storing to be delivered. It seems they didn’t know which container was mine. It took 3 frustratingly long calls with waits on hold until finally I was told they knew which container was mine but.I requested to go to the warehouse and see for myself before they delivered it.I was told the would have to completely reconstruct my order first before they could scheduleI ask how long that would take. And told the would do it right now and call me back. Finally progressYou guessed it no call back.Today I called and the automated system told me the would call back in 1 1/2 - 2 hours.When they called back I waited 8 min on hold then a person came on. I explained the whole situation again and was put on hold for another 20 minutes. When they got back with me I was told that they figured it out but would, you guessed it. Completely reconstruct my order. I ask for a supervisor.That was 25 minutes ago. Still on hold.Don’t trust these people. !
Its unfortunate when you pay for service and get excuses. Pick up was 4 days late. Which I got a text a 5 minutes to 6:00 PM on a Friday. We had a break down. I get it things happen. 4 days later do you know what the container numbers are?Delivery who can guess 5 minutes to 6:00 PM we had a break down. I took off work we are sorry Saturday it will be there anytime. NO early AM Sorry terminal has left for the day. Ok I took off work who is going to pay me?We can offer you $50.00. That is 6.25 an hour.

We used Pack Rat 7 years ago for a move and decided to choose them over PODS due to the 6,000lb weight limit on the 16ft containers. I have to admit, I was really nervous after reading these reviews but we did not have a problem with our drop offs and pick ups. We had 3 - 16 containers dropped off on June 14, loaded on June 16 and picked up today, June 17. All three drivers on both occasions called an hour before hand and did a great job. I know people usually post complaints, and rightfully so, but I wanted to give a shout out to this company because they did what we paid for (at least so far on this end).
This might be the worst company I have dealt with!My move is 7.6 miles away. I am now on reschedule 3 trying to get my containers delivered. They give me ZERO updates when my containers are not delivered on the schedule date. Instead I have to spend hours calling to get an update and reschedule. it is amazing how they give ZERO fs about their customers.Does anybody have a local number I can try?Please provide me with a phone number or an email address where I can give you my order number.
Still in the middle of our move. They dropped off one 16’ container at the scheduled time and we’re filling it up. The container was a little worn but it’ll protect my furniture so that’s all that matters. You get more than what you pay for in my opinion.
Wow. I wish I would have seen all of these reviews before I did business with Zippy Shell.I had reserved a container to show up at my house on 6/9 AND paid extra to have it show up before 1pm. They told me if I didn’t do this, it could show up as late as 11 AM. I booked movers to show up at 1pm on the same day, my boyfriend had previously fallen down the stairs so he couldn’t help out. We have six people come because we have stairs and a long walk to the parking lot of my complex.So when 12:45pm rolls around I’m getting nervous because the container isn’t there and the movers are on the way. I called in and was told by Laurie in the main office that my delivery is next on the list and it will be showing up between 1pm and 4 pm which is not what we agreed on but what choice do I have? I decided to make the most of having the movers on since they were on the clock, and had them move everything out to the parking lot. By now it is 2:30pm and still no container so I call back. They tell me they will have a supervisor call me back. At 5:45pm I get a call from a supervisor in the Charlotte location, his name is Nathan. Nathan then informs me that the container would not delivered today. He told me that the employee that delivers them was sick and couldn’t come into work that day. THEY KNEW @ 8 AM THAT MORNING THAT I WOULDNT BE GETTING THE CONTAINER BUT KEPT ASSURING ME IT WAS COMING. I had no choice but to pay the movers to put everything back in my apartment.Back to Nathan.He was not at all apologetic and assured me he would call me to discuss the status on a possible next day delivery. Needless to say he never called me back and when I attempted to reach them, they had closed for the night. Good job, Nathan.First thing the next morning, the day after my container was supposed to arrive, I am woken up by a confirmation email stating that my container would be delivered the FOLLOWING DAY.1. I don’t trust you to ACTUALLY show up, farther than I can throw your 16ft container.2. My new job is requiring me to start in another state in a few days and I cannot use your service and make it there on time.So I call them to let them know the two day late delivery doesn’t work, this requires a talk with a supervisor. Great. Another 3 hour wait.A supervisor named Phillip called. Phillip tried VERY HARD to get me to recite, “I would like to cancel the contract”. I wasn’t cancelling. They didn’t hold up their end therefore THEY were in violation of the contract. I told him I needed a full refund and I wanted to be reimbursed for the labor. I was informed they don’t do that. Well, y’all KNEW they weren’t coming and didn’t tell me until 10 hours later which is LONG after the guaranteed delivery time. If your customer service rep says I’m next on the list, why would I send them home????Phillip told me that I would need to speak to his supervisor who “does not have a phone”…… needless to say, I never got that call.This is the WORST customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I have given them plenty of time to make it right and to treat their customers the way they and their families would like to be treated.I will not stop sharing this message. Moving is stressful and y’all wasted my time and money.
Do NOT use this service to ship anything you actually need, and be prepared to enjoy a container on your property for a LONG time.Good in concept, poor in customer service. No sense of customer service. Unaccessible unresponsive and a complete lack of urgency. My delivery was delayed 16 days and the empty container (emptied quickly and notified) still sits in my driveway a couple weeks later. Even customer service cant reach local locations so no internal communication exists either. Ive been told several times that I would be updated daily...never happened. Enjoy the deplorable on hold music.... And get used to it.Funny you ask for an order number... Customer service so sad you cant even look me up by name? We didn’t have any issues getting, loading, or storing the containers at packrats facility. We had them delivered on Aug 4 2021 with a pickup date of Aug 9 2021. We had a crew of friends help us unload everything by the 9th. It’s now the 16th and they are still on my property. We’ve made several calls and been on hold for 1 hour each time. Got reps that shuffled us around from dept to dept until someone told us they’d note it on the account. Now they told us they come get them by the 20th. When we rented with them they said they had a shortage of containers. If they’d pick them up it may help! They sure aren’t paying us to store their containers on our place but believe me if we were late they would charge us. You may be taking your chances with this company. You may want to use them as a last resort.
We scheduled a container to be delivered today 7/30/21. We have EVERYTHING ready to go and load up, changed our schedules to ensure someone was home and available to sign for drop off, even had another person stay at our house just in case the driver showed up while we were gone for a few hours. At 8pm TONIGHT no phone call or communication from the company caused concerned. I call the company, after 30 minutes on hold I get to speak with an agent out of state. This agent calls the warehouse only to get back on the line and tell me the forklift is broken at the warehouse.THEY WERE NEVER COMING TO DELIVER THE CONTAINER TODAY!!No phone call, no email, no communication to indicate this failure in service.READ ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS!!!I WISH WE HAD SEEN THEM FIRST!!!And this forklift must be the ONLY ONE THIS WAREHOUSE HAS!!We planned this today since tomorrow is our childs birthday and didnt want to spend our childs Birthday MOVING but this NATIONAL COMPANY with no type of ethics or common courtsey had other plans!!!For A NATIONAL COMPANY this is poor customer service and my cost was going to be around 330 just for drop off and delivery to next location (local) was going to be around 550 total or everything!!How much does a forklift cost to fix???? Really disappointed! We have our entire belongings in storage for a YEAR and now, we cannot get our containers delivered on time. We made sure to pay our monthly payment on time, even while my husband was laid off and money was tight. We relocated to Houston and he is now employed, we have bought our house and would like to move into our home. It has been a year since my family has lived in our own house and my children would like to sleep in their beds.. Please show compassion and provide better service to your customers, its been a tough year. We have 2 storage pods in the San Antonio warehouse. They were scheduled to be delivered 5/25/2021. They were not delivered, and we did not receive a call or email. After sitting on hold for 1hr we were told that the forklift at the warehouse was broken and no pods could be delivered. They don’t have a backup and have to order parts to fix it. It has been a week, and we still have no idea when we can get our pods. Literally everything we own is stuck in the warehouse, and they can’t even give us an estimate of when we should get the pods. Customer service says the warehouse in San Antonio is unresponsive and the only way to communicate is through email. Highly unprofessional. We had to cancel our movers and can’t even reschedule because we don’t know when we can get the pods. All we have been told is that we will receive a call when the forklift is working to reschedule the delivery, and that over 100 people have been affected by this outage. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!Order # 6102161If you actually want to help, please provide a number for the San Antonio warehouse so I can deal with them directly. There is a MAJOR disconnect between customer service and the warehouse.
I had 1-800-PACT-Rat move me from San Diego, CA to San Antonio. I was due to have my pod delivered on May 20th, I call on the 20th to verify my move and was told, oh yes, you are on schedule for delivery today and the driver will contact you an hour before. They never called. i call them the next day and they told me that I was rescheduled for Monday the 24th. I called on Monday and was told, oh yes, you are on schedule for delivery today and the driver will contact you an hour before. This was at 9 am. I called back at 3 pm and was told, oh no, the fork lift is down and we do not have an update. It has been 2 weeks! and every time I call I get the same response. no matter if I talk to a representative or a manager. I have been sleeping on an air mattress and living out of an ice chest for 2 weeks and these people have never called me back on anything! I dont understand how they cannot have a plan when so many people are affected.My order number is 2119206. Please deliver my stuff!

The container would not properly fit in my driveway and the manager tried to place it in the street but there was a car in the way. He still extremely polite and helpful and went above and beyond to help. Although we werent able to place the pod, he was still polite and helpful to the best of his abilities.
Expensive and delayed the deliver two time for broken equipment and made be in my new house with nothing for weeks. Offered 189 dollars as a sorry and that didnt cover taking off work and making the other plans. Avoid this company at all costs.
This could EASILY be one of the worst companies Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. We have had deliveries cancelled now 3 times, and each time spent several hours on the phone waiting to get an update on our delivery. Had we not called, we would have gotten no update, and the delivery simply would not have happened. At this point we are not confident that they have any idea where our pod is, and no clear window to getting it delivered. Again, I highly encourage anyone thinking of hiring this company to AVOID WORKING WITH THEM IN ANY CAPACITY. Youll simply be paying to be frustrated and concerned for your property.
Cannot believe this is the way they conduct business. Container was scheduled to arrive yesterday and we were told that we would get a phone call before delivery or changes. I took off work so I could get a head start on loading up the container. By the afternoon and no word, we called the customer service line and they confirmed our container was still on schedule to be delivered that day. After two or so more hours we called again and were told that it was still going to be delivered and that delivery could be as late as 10pm.By 8pm there was still no phone call and no container so we called again and were told that the local delivery team canceled the drop off and gave no reason. They didn’t give myself or my husband, who was also listed as a contact, a phone call to alert us of the cancellation.We canceled the entire thing due to the huge inconvenience and horrible customer service.Avoid this company and go with PODS or UPack.
Worst service I’ve ever received! I’ve been in a new state without any of my belongings for ten days and no one can give me an answer as to when my truck will be delivered and I have been told multiple times that I will not be getting a discounted rate off of the $2,300 I paid to have my things shipped. My truck has been magically “rescheduled” the day of delivery TWICE NOW! And I was told today that they don’t know when it will be delivered because they are down to one truck. Absolutely awful please do not use this service. I am a teacher and cannot even set up my classroom because everything is in that truck. Not to mention I paid more than what I make in a month for what I thought would be peace of mind. Absolutely awful... I am still in an empty home on an air mattress because these people will not deliver my things. Order number is 1934620.

We hire Pack Rat services for our move from Colorado to Texas. The initial proces was very easy and simple, they were very helpful in giving advice on how many containers we would need for the size of our house so that is appreciated.The reason why I didnt give 5 stars is because of the issues getting my containers delivered. I set up the delivery appointment more than 10 days ahead of time and the day they were supposed to be delivered I had movers ready, my husband took the day off and guess what, the containers never arrived. I had to call twice to find out that they were having issues with their equipment, but nobody could call me to let me know!. After 2 weeks I finally got a call to tell me they were ready to deliver the containers, I paid extra for them to be delivered in the morning but they both arrived after 2pm.The reason I didnt give only 1 star is because it looks like they want to improve and they made things better for me by giving me a refund of the money I had paid for the containers to be delivered in the am plus a little extra for the time I paid for an empty storage unit and the overall delay, manager James was very professional and polite.I dont know if I would use them again or recommend them. All I know is moving is stressful enough, and I had to add the stress of having to call and call to find out what the heck was going on with my containers.

I made an appointment 10 days ahead of time to have my pod delivered from my old house to my new house full of my stuff. It was not delivered on the day it was supposed to be. I called the 800 number and left a message and no one responded. I called the next day to the local number and told the guy about it and all he could say was Im sorry. I asked him if he could deliver it that day and he said no. I asked him when he could deliver it and he said he did not know he was booked up for the week. So I asked him how am I supposed to know when I get it delivered He said call the 800 number. I told him I called left a message and no one returned the call and he hung up on me and would not answer the phone again. Do not use this company This is how they treat elderly handicapped people I would hate to see how they treat everyone else.
I gave them my phone number and my husbands. When they dropped the pod off they called me and I didn’t answer, then called my husband. When they came to pick it up they called both again. On The Saturday they were suppose to bring it back, I didn’t answer. A Jesse left me a voicemail to call him back to confirm. This time he didn’t call my husband and when I called him back 5 minutes later, he didn’t answer me! I called him, my husband called him. He didn’t ever reply. I called the 1800 number. They said they would email the facility and call me black. They told me not to worry because they do the last drop off at 11pm. It was 1:30pm. She called me back three hours later to notify me that no one would make it out but not to worry because she had already rescheduled me for the 18th. They wanted me to wait ten days without a refrigerator,washer, or dryer!! It was obvious that the guy didn’t answer because he didn’t want to deliver the storage container. All the other times he called both numbers! I couldn’t ever speak to a supervisor and the customer service would hang up on me and keep me on hold for hours! They are horrible and I will never use them again!
The cancelled my deliver with no notice and gave me a date outside a acceptable window as if we are at their mercy. Aparently they dont understand that once you sell a house you cant stay in it as long as it takes them to get you a POD. Telephone hold times are way outside anything reasonable. Once you get through to a rep they cant help and say that a manager will call back. After 6 days of daily calling to cancel the service, I still cant get anyone to call me back or cancel the service.I would NEVER use this company again!!!!
BUYERS BEWARE: sales and delivery in Florida was awesome. Came on time. everything was communicated well and everything was clear.Keep in mind this is the Readers Digest version: A week and a half ago we scheduled a delivery for two days ago. We waited around all day until eventually we got a phone call saying that a truck broke down, they were backed up and it would need to be delayed a day. I was promised by the customer service rep that we would be first in line the next morning and that it would be delivered first thing. The next day we waited in our empty house with our four children from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. We called multiple times throughout the day for updates. They said they reached out multiple times to the local office and assured us that it would be delivered yesterday. I called at 6:00 pm and asked how late they deliver and if we could still expect it today? They said they called the local office, they were running behind but that it would be delivered between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. We kept our young children at this empty house until 11:00 p.m. trying to keep them entertained under the promise that we would be getting it. I called it 10:00 p.m. for an update and their 24-hour customer service hotline was closed.Our house is 10 minutes away from their storage office.This morning, I went by the local office where it is stored and spoke with the local manager, Troy, who I swear said originally his name was Andrew. Speaking for 25 minutes, I walked away with answers of theres nothing we can do and I did not receive any calls about your situation yesterday, I dont know why theyre saying that, we havent had any intention to deliver your things over the last two days because we knew we wouldnt be able to because we are backed up. I asked him what customer services hours were because obviously they arent 24 hours Monday through Friday like it advertises. He, as a manager, said he didnt know because he doesnt talk to anyone outside of his office. He only emails. I offered to pay $150 to any of his people to just work an hour overtime to deliver to our home which is 10 minutes away from his storage office. I offered to bring a U-Haul and unload all my stuff personally to which he responded he couldnt guarantee that he would be able to get the trailer out in less than one business day which means Monday. 25 minute conversation resulted in absolutely nothing being done, no commitment or even an apology for that matter, and only a distancing from his companys promises. I asked him about his companys customer service guidelines to which he said he doesnt do customer service. I explained that in a real, reputable company, every employee does customer service... Especially the managers.I feel like considering the situation I was extremely patient, but Im just getting a wall. Meanwhile we are a family with four kids stuck paying day to day for a hotel, buying meals at restaurants with no outlook for resolution to getting our household items so we can move into our home.Had we had good honest communication throughout the process, we would be much more satisfied. We understand stuff happens. But the fact that day after day customer service continues to promise us things that apparently the local office has no idea of and no intention of fulfilling. There is still no actual honest timeline as to when we will get our household items. I dont really know what to do at this point.Again Readers Digest version. Without prompt action Ill go anywhere I can to get resolution because apparently the company has no interest in resolving. Im a reasonable person but this has been a very frustrating and unreasonable expectation that the company has put on us and it appears were not the only ones. Somebody needs to be working a little overtime to get some situations resolved. They can still make this right but its going to take some real effort.
We scheduled our entire move around this company and they cancelled on us the day of due to over booking. Explain to me how that happens. They did not even try to make the situation right. We are now scrambling to figure out how to move out of our home right now before closing. Do not allow this company to put you in the situation!!!

They lied to me about the date they would drop the pod off and pick up the pod, Also I have been moved from Texas to ohio for 1 month now and I still haven’t received, the pod with my belongings. I have called them over 50x trying to get information on my belongings and all they can say is. You will get it. There is no corporate number, an every time u ask for a manager there’s no manager on site. I spent 3 gram and this is the service you get..
Unfortunately pa rats failed to deliver my container 3 times. Attempts to resolve thru customer service have failed. The problem seems that they don’t put resources into delivery. Sales and pickup were great. But delivery stinks.

This company is a nightmare! I am still waiting for my items. I wish I would have read the reviews that were listed here before contracting this company. I was supposed to have pod delivered on Friday (the 14th) by 11 pm. I knew there was a problem when I tried to reach the company and could not get an answer when items would be delivered that day. They said they have reached out to warehouse manager and drivers and have not heard back from them. When 9pm rolled around I received a call informing me our stuff would not be delivered because truck broke down earlier in the day. I asked why I was not informed of this earlier and their response was they did not know I had called. I asked when they expected truck to be repaired so our items would be delivered. They said they did not know and would reach out to us. On the 15th we called and spoke with customers service to discuss this issues and was informed that items would be delivered on Wednesday the 19th. I asked once the truck was repaired would we be put in the same order with all the rest that did not have deliveries before the ones who were scheduled for days after us. We were told yes. Obviously that wasnt true because our orders was pushed to Wednesday the 20th. This was confirmed by the customer service manager I spoke with this time and was told that was a warehouse decision. I was then informed that they have the hardest time reaching the warehouse. Exact words were in the last month he has been able to communicate with them just a couple of times. So today (wednesday 19th) after calling multiple times to get an idea again when our stuff would be delivered we were told they still cannot get a response from warehouse. Literally just now 4:55 pm we were told our stuff would not be delievered because the truck broke down. Mine you we were told the other truck was fixed but this is a different truck and this was broken down now. Remember We were informed why are stuffed wasnt delivered earlier because we were behind people who had original deliveries earlier in the week even though we were told that would not happen. We are not being told we will need to wait till the 28th (today is the 19th). I was told by customer service they have tried to get ahold of the warehouse and cannot. They have tried to call and email but get.no response. The only thing they are sending is schedules out. Please stay away.Please reach out to attorney general office and department of transportation and DMV with complaints. Since I was told there is no one else to contact other than the supervisor of customer service. Could not get a number to Corp. Offices and would not be provided a number to warehouse.Update I just called back and was able to schedule and pay for a newdnew off for a pod for the same location that the pick up is supposed to be. The funny thing is they got approval to pick it up on Monday the 24th..... Wow! Something is wrong here. Cant pick up my pod and delivery earlier than the 28th but can take money for a new drop of on the 24th. I called just to see if I could set up account and didnt explain the situation. At this point called customer service and everyone was confused how this was possible!! Now they are trying to figure it out. Will update.
PLEASE READ: Do NOT use PackRat for anything! I have never left a review before but felt the need to do this so it doesn’t happen to you! This company is absolutely terrible and LIES! We moved from NJ to TX and our PackRat never it made it TX on the date it was suppose to arrive. I called customer service the day before it was suppose to arrive and it was still in NJ. No calls from anyone to let us know it wouldn’t be arriving. Then I was told by customer service they are going to “expedite” free of charge to get here by Aug 5th. Well that didn’t happen, they said no driver from NJ to TX. It’s now Aug 11th and we still have no PackRat. Everything we own for our family of 4 is in the PackRat! We have an empty house that we can not live in that we are paying for because our pod was suppose to originally arrive Aug 1st. I was still charged over $2000 for the move. Oh and we were told it was stored in room temp. That was a complete lie as well. Room temp is 72 degrees and that’s not what a warehouse with no AC in Texas temp is at in the middle of the summer! There is much more to write but big pic, do not waste your time with PackRat as they do not care about the customer or service they provide you! Do NOT use PackRat!
I’m not typically the kind of person that leaves bad reviews. However, the stress level caused by the San Antonio area Pack Rats service needs to be shared so others don’t make the same mistake and use them. Moving is stressful enough as is. And also because I have spent hours of my life on hold and with customer service reps trying to get the mistake fixed or at least compensated for, none of which has happened.The problem apparently started at delivery of our Pack Rat. The driver was very nice and friendly, but apparently he placed our container “on hold.” Therefore when the day came for pick up (which was the last day we were allowed to be in our house after closing) by mid afternoon they still had not come to pick it up. I called customer service and they assured me it was scheduled to be picked up. The next morning we drove over to see if it had indeed been picked up, but it was still there. At this point the new owner began contacting me asking when it would be gone. I had no idea what to tell him. I called customer service yet again and someone finally realized what had happened. I had to drive over again to the old house and get the container number. They left me hanging as they couldn’t give me any contact info to at least find out an eta to tell the new owner. I felt so helpless depending on the customer service agent to take care of things with no number to call and follow up, all the while having nothing concrete to tell the new owner who needed th e space we no longer owned. Customer service assured me she’d call with an ETA. She never did. Finally around 5:30 pm the driver called me to tell me he was on his way. I explained what had happened and he encouraged me to call customer service and get a manager on the line.The manager seemed uninterested and unsympathetic but said he would compensate me by taking 50$ dollars off the delivery fee. Which did not appease me at all. I asked if he could call the local pack rat (since they don’t give you a local number to call, which drives me NUTS!) and see if we could get the container removed earlier since we would have to wait 2 weeks with that container in our driveway before they had availability to pick it up from our new property. Once again I had to wait for him to contact me with no contact info as he called the local office to if it was possible. I received a voicemail the next day saying they had no availability to pick it up earlier. And then I was promptly billed the delivery fee, with no discount. I have spent countless hours of my life on hold with their customer service only to receive frustration, stress, and absolutely no compensation for their mistake. I would highly recommend you look to another moving container service if you are in the San Antonio area. The problem seems to be with the local Pack Rats service.I’d be happy to have you follow up! I guess they don’t want it back. I may just take ownership of it and build a playhouse out of it for my kids. Geez these people are THE worst. But they have no accountability because there is absolutely NO way of getting ahold of the local people.
1-800-PACK-RAT made moving SUPER SIMPLE for us! My husband and I were living in 2 different states and needed to move each of our things on different schedules to end up in Texas at the same time. They worked closely with us to coordinate AND worked extra hard to make sure things went smoothly when we ran into a few bumps. The containers hold more than you expect and are very convenient. This is DEFINITELY the best way to move when you want to control the packing but do not want to do any of the transporting or if you arent sure of when you might be able to unload on the other side. Our things were stored for us and brought exactly when we wanted them.Awesome service! Awesome people!!
Mom cant get her goods delivered. Keep cancelling delivery last minute. Received call at 830pm on the night before a delivery to say it was cancelled.Willing to delete review if we get a call for the shipment.
Excellent service considering the times
This is absolutely the worst place ever. Its hard to attain access to your unit. U literally have to give them 48 hour notice. Even then they can deny bringing your unit down. There are hidden fees when signing up for them. So beware of that. The price thats quoted is not the price you will pay. Called to have access to my unit on a weekend and signed the liability form just to attain access to it and to my surprise it was not available for me. They will keep your card info on file even if you tell them not to. My advice get a prepaid card. Dont let them take control over your funds. Next time i will stick to my gut and go with another company. Packrat is very unprofessional when it comes to honoring what they say they are going to do.
Came here for delivery nobody in there 2 trucks waitingWarehouse isn’t open all the time I guess only 1 employee working.Same guy doing delivery and unloadingWaiting for 3 hours now still nothing
Leaving a review because I felt they were extremely unprofessional.they cancelled the night of delivery at 830 pm.stated they over booked and couldnt give me a new reservation until 4 days later
I worked for this company in san antonio for a short while as a driver. I was expected to work whenever they needed me day or night, I didnt have a scheduled, just told what time to come in at about 9pm the day before, Monday through Saturday. Everyones is always in a rush due to only being two trucks thats covered everything from kerrville to port aransas. I have personally listened to manager conversations with customer accusing them of lying about damaged items. By the way the warehouse that holds the containers is not airconditioned if you are paying extra for that.
Worst experience ever! I will never use them again and will not reccomend them. We paid extra to have it delivered a certain date. We called several times to confirm it was on schedule. We moved across country and needed our house hold items. Got a call on the day of drop off only to tell us it hasnt even left original warehouse. So now we have to wait an extra week to receive our items 😡😡. They dont care and dont seem to be in any rush to fix it. Next time Ill go with PODS. Thanks for an extra headache Pack Rat.
Id give no stars if i was able to. Service was horrible and our damaged and destroyed items arnt being replaced or repaired. I will warn friends and family not to use this company. Worst experience ever.
