Uneven cuts in yard. Parts of yard not mowed. Weed eating very poorly done

Due to the winter storm of 2021, my yard looked messed and full of dry and dead leaves and branches. I ordered landscaping maintenance for three hours and finally spent 5 hours for everything even with removing a not very tall dead tree ( 10 feet at least). As well as mulching. IMO, two workers for 5 hours is still efficient.I haven’t carefully inspected outside after they left. After I do, I will update my review here.Mulching is placed well. Price is reasonable compared with my previous service provider.Only problem for me is the guys coming can’t speak English. This is the first time to hire them. Even if I photoed my whole yards and explained to the office, I still needs to talk onsite. We talk through the phone with office and employees together...

Tried for two weeks to have someone come cut our yard. 1st appointment was supposed to be last week (June 9th or 10th) no one showed up. Called and was told 3rd party vendor didnt put us in the system. Rescheduled appointment for 6.16. Again no one showed up. Call back and was told our account was never activated and only an estimate was given. No history of an appointment. Again, issues with the third party. Declined being put on the schedule for a third time. They do really great work at my neighbors. Really suggest looking into your 3rd party, who knows how much money / business you could be losing out on for dropped appointments!

A friend, who cancelled his service, referred me to this company. I used their lawn mowing service and their dog waste pick up service. The lawn service was good. However the dog waste pick up was awful. They never picked up all the dog waste there was always old dog waste on the lawn. I called and complained a couple of times but was told they techs took photos of the dog waste they picked up. After a while I decided to go with another company who does a much better job.

Great job. They were on time and professional

The workers are always friendly and respectful. I have two dogs who are sometimes outside and the men kindly give me time to get hem indoors and they never forget to shut the gate after them. The yard always looks great when they finish. I am very grateful for their service.

They do a good job, plus the schedule & payments are on autopilot, so I dont have to do anything.

----------------------------------------UPDATE 22 JULY 2021 - One or two Fridays ago, we noticed the Just Right Lawns people in our yard before they started mowing and weed whacking doing what looked like a briefing to make sure all the employees understood what to do and what not to do. After they left, everything looked good, and there wasnt any unwanted whacking. Ive increased my rating from two stars to three.----------------------------------------UPDATE 29 JUNE 2121 - The latest incident occurred last Friday, its now Tuesday. After not having received any response to my email or phone call from Just Right Lawns, I called them. They confirmed that my messages had been received. I was told just like the last time a few weeks ago, I could take pictures of the damaged area, and have more replacement plants brought over. Having to keep planting the same plants repeatedly wasnt something we wanted to do, though, and so asked that they just use the weedwhacker on the actual lawn, and nothing else, even if there are plants that look like weeds. This is exactly what I requested before our bush was damaged, and what was already written in the notes for our property, and I was assured that crews are supposed to read these notes. Thats how the conversation was left.----------------------------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW - Im conflicted about how many stars to put, because weve had long stretches of time when we were happy with their service. There was a time where they kept weed whacking an oregano plant we were trying to save. When we called to complain again, a manager came out to make it right by putting up little fences, and that seemed to solve the problem for Im guessing a couple of years, and we were okay with Just Right Lawns again.Then, a couple of weeks ago, they butchered a bush that wasnt huge yet, but big enough to obviously not be a weed. We called, and they asked for pictures of the damage, etc., which we provided. They offered a $50, and then $80 credit (if I remember correctly), but I pointed out that that didnt cover the value of the bush, or labor we put into planting and growing it. So, a manager tried to find a replacement of equal or greater maturity, and went to five different stores, trying to find one. He could only find small ones, and so offered two plants. We accepted, and the plants were delivered this last Tuesday.We also posted signs all over the backyard, each with a photograph of the plant, with the words Do not cut.We thought we were good.However, today it happened again. Ive sent an email and left a message, and now Im curious to see how they handle it.Our face-to-face and phone encounters with the staff have been pleasant, and they are always nice, professional, and apologetic when our plants have been chopped. Also, as I mentioned before, well go years without an issue. I just dont understand why its a problem again now. I suspect the workers are over worked and underpaid, and might be under undo pressure to complete each job quickly.Ill post an update when Ive heard back from them.

These guys have been cutting my grass for over a year and each and every time its professionally manicured. Sometimes our kids leave things in the yard and we forget to pick them up. Just right lawns takes care of it and gets the job done. I have used them on several rental properties as well and they always do a great job! if you need a great, affordable lawn service company then look no further.

Amazing company! They worked around the road closure/re-paving that overlapped our tight schedule needs. We needed our lawn prepared for an open house-las minute and they delivered!! Absolutely recommend! They did a beautiful cut, and, unlike other services we have used, they did NOT cut too short. Fantastic service, communication, and attention!! Thank you so much!!!

George and some younger kid mowed and trimmed the edges. They did a good job. I would recommend them. My neighbor referred me but they come at different days to mow the two lawns. Seems kind of inefficient to do the two lawns on different days instead of at the same time, but whatever. You do you I guess. Great service for a decent price. Thanks guys! Thank you just right lawn service.......job well done...had to edit this review as they never sent me a contract even though I made many calls saying I did not receive the email.....they finally sent me an email on my schedule....NOT A CONTRACT.....Company came Wednesday and I asked for the back yard grass to be bagged....was informed it would be $7.00....the credited my cc and was an additional $21.00 that I would never agree to. Left bags at my house that I had to put in my garage for disposal. I call regarding this and decided to stop service and they advised would charge me an additional $30.00 for cancellation. DISGUSTING

Did a great job! Yard was a jungle they cleaned it all up and kids were able to enjoy the yard again. Efficient and very well priced.

Did not complete job. This was after speaking to the lawn people about the cut. To have them jump in the truck and drive away. We called more than once to have them address the issue. Not one person has returned our called.

These guys are quick and efficient and they clean up when they are done! They do great work and my yard always looks neat. One time they did damage some pots in my yard by accident. I called to let them know and they reimbursed me for the damages. The process to get that resolved was also easy and the young lady who assisted me was very polite and professional.

I can say we have been with this Lawn company for about 3 to 4 yrs of lawn service and they do an over all good job. We are satisfied/pleased with the job that my team does. They do a well good lawn cut and leave my yard looking nicely groomed. They are fast a team of 2 to 3 workers. If ever something goes wrong they will respond immediately and fix. Ive been a customer for several years and the crew has always done a great job. Of the times I have talked to a crew member, they have been professional and kind.

There are a few concerns I have with the lawn service.I have a good size yard and the mowers don’t cut the mow under the trees. The leaves are there all year long. The area where the trees are doesn’t have grass and the mowers don’t mow where the leaves are. The grass will grow if the leaves are mulched. The area I am talking about is not a garden.The front yard looks good except they don’t make a second pass over the yard. They leave too many stragglers. I usually have to ask them to go over the grass again. If I am home.I have to ask the person doing the weed eating to trim grass that is growing between the cement in the driveway.I hand a deck built and the grass around the deck has died and this is where they don’t mow the leaves.I know The mowers have other jobs to go to but I do believe that if they will cut the grass like it was their house you may get less complaints.

Typically they do good work for the price. Which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. But I just cancelled my service because I was charged full price and my entire back yard wasnt mowed. When I called to ask for a credit because more than half of my property was mowed I was told they can only give me 30% credit despite 60 to 70% of my property was not taken care of. Very disappointed. It is not about the money. It was the principal. Businesses is about relationships and transactions. I pay for a service and the service is rendered. If it cant be rendered as stated by their employees then I should be reimbursed the difference.....Update they made it right.

Besides the awesome food. The people working there are courteous and friendly. I have a broken ankle. When an off duty employee saw us walk in, he offered us his table and even asked if I was ok. Not happy with the quality of service for the lawn care provided. The crew is in a hurry and do not complete the services you are paying for. Didn’t even take the lawn mower to back yard yet still charge for it. The walkway is not swept of leaves. I could get better service from a teenager.

Ive had a lot of difficulties with service people in the past--people who asked if they could come another day because they were tired, people who made up excuses not to do the full job, people who did slipshod work. Just Right Lawns is completely different. They show up reliably, do their job right without fussing, and leave. They impressed me with their work ethic, reliability, and service. We repeatedly ask that the lawn crew make sure the gate was properly closed and the bricks replaced so that our dogs would not get out. We were told every time we called they would make sure our instructions were followed. After coming home from work for the 3rd time in the last 2 months with the gate open and my dogs out we no longer needed their services.
