Awesome place. My only complaint is that its always busy...lol. Hence the reason its always full of people. Plus they offer on site free seminars on gardening.

Really disappointed in the landscape sales service. We had a quote to add some grade, fix sprinklers and add grass. Agreed to price and signed a contract. The salesman Ron came out a few days later and wanted to add more sprinkler work for $650 dollars just to raise or replace some sprinkler heads. When my husband said he can fix the sprinklers himself, Ron said he wouldnt do the job then. When asked why those sprinklers needed to be done when they were outside of the original work area, all Ron could say was they were essential but could not tell us why they were essential. The salesmanship was deplorable and the sales practice was all about lining their pocket. Now youve lost a $1300 dollar job all because Ron wanted $650 more! We wont make any further purchases here and I suggest you think twice before doing business with them. Sometimes businesses get so big they forget its the community that got them there.

My front and backyard turned out beautifully! Daniel Firova worked with me to design a landscaping plan for my specific needs and preferences. Damian Penny and his team executed his plan perfectly. They are professional, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. They also guarantee their work. Their work was beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this company!

I called to have them come out to give me an estimate on my yard. I called them 2X & left message they didnt call me back. I tried a 3rd time and made an appointment 4 them to come out. They never showed or even called. I called to see when they were I left a voice mail - and they didnt call me back. I tried about 1/2 hour later (close to noon) and the person that answered didnt know where the agent was. I told her never mind since I had been waiting 4 hours.

Daniel Firova and Damian Penny were amazing to work with. Daniel came out to consult with me on a project for my backyard, which was sloped and needed to be re-worked. The sprinkler system drained near my porch creating mold and water hazards. The original grass was a Bermuda that was dead and spotty in a lot of areas.Daniel put together a great concept that Damian and his team brought to life in less than two weeks. Their team built a retainer wall that drained rainwater into the newly installed St. Augustine. They created natural and artificial drainage systems along with a beautiful landscape that included lots of trees of different colors and hedges. All this at a reasonable price compared to their competitors. Highly recommend this team for all of your landscaping needs.

Maldonado Nursery and Landscaping did a superb job on my yard. They even drew a plan for me and showed me a picture of what the results would look like. I am very satisfied with everything about this company including excellent customer service. I hope to use again for my backyard.

Called for a landscaping quote, I said good afternoon, Im looking for a landscaping quote the lady then has the audacity to tell me, okay, well we only do big jobs, like $10,000 and up. Are you looking to spend that much? I was completely flabbergasted considering the fact that she had NO CLUE as to what I even wanted!!! WHO DOES THIS!?!?I dont know how this company trains their people to handle paying customers but I highly suggest you train them not to say things like well sir, unless you have $10,000 or more ready to spend with us, then we dont even need to be talking WITHOUT ANY IDEA WHATSOEVER AS TO WHAT IM WANTING! Im able to spend over $10,000 on my needs which is besides the point, but Im not giving ONE SINGLE DOLLAR to a company that treats people this way. THE WORST SERVICE IVE EVER RECEIVED!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!

Maldonado has done a fantastic job at our home. We had a complete irrigation system installed and have had minor landscaping. Not just in the physical work rendered but as a whole Maldonado has surpassed and exemplified thorough communication. Every single question or concern was meticulously answered. There was a minor error in a job and Damian made a vast effort in not only correcting the job but he made sure it was also corrected at an accelerated pace. Maldonado has been a textbook example of a job well done.

Landscape crew damaged my car windshield as I was driving by. The stated that they conducted a thorough investigation and determined that they did not cause it and if they did, my windshield would have shattered. I’ve had othe rock dings and it eve shattered I filed a police report. They accuse me of causing the damage myself and trying to pin it on them. I am a retired AF member currently working for DoD. I can pay for the repair, it’s the principle of it. They refuse to take responsibility for damage caused by their staff. This tells me what type of company they are.

Maldonados did a great job for us! They have a great group of professionals! The crew that came out were friendly and hard working! They really went above and beyond with making sure every thing was taken care before they left! I cant say enough good things. I do highly recommend them for any landscaping or irrigation! Great place to work I thank the owners for the past 8 months of employment wish I could of stayed the got difficult being from Dallas and not being with the family during the week . Amazing job by Christina and team. End quality of work was spot on. Planted a large tree and gave plenty of room for root growth. Also did great cleaning up.

Just had my front yard landscaped and couldn’t be happier. Daniel’s vision (landscape designer), Damian’s overview and purchasing of the plants and Adrian’s direct supervision of the guys makes this a well oiled team. Any issues along the way or changes were dealt with head on and quickly rectified! How can you go wrong with a company that guarantees their plants for 1 year! No other quotes I received would place that in their contract.....not even Maldonado’s New Braunfels! Just remember.....you get what you pay for and with this company, I got more! I will make sure I call you fro my next project gentleman!

Trying to get a job complete for 2 months now. Terrible communication. They sub out all the work. DO NOT get any hardscape done with them EVER !!! Very disappointed in the ridiculous timeline and their inability to hire professionals that prioritize a job !

Update 9/23/2017. Several weeks ago we noticed that several of the flagstone steps (going down to our xeriscape) had come loose. I called Richard at Maldonado to ask for advice on re-cementing them back into place (I was planning on doing the job myself). Richard came out and looked at the loose flagstones. Jerry Maldonado then came out several days later and walked all the flagstone steps with Richard. They told us that they were going to totally re-do ALL the flagstone steps to ensure none of the flagstones would ever pop loose again. They completed the job this last week. They did a fabulous job. This dedication to stand behind all there work speaks volumes about the commitment of this company. They came back and did this job for us over four months after the original completion of our landscaping job. Maldonado is a great company and I would highly recommend them.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Maldonado did an outstanding job on our just finished landscaping project. Our backyard had a double slope (down & side to side - both slopes ~20 deg). Richard, our project supervisor was fantastic. Easy to work with and the crews really respected him. Poncho and team did an excellent job building three stunning rock retaining walls (up to 4 - 6 high). The various crews that came out were very professional & nice. Christina did the plant design which turned out great. We would highly recommend Maldonado. They made a design and stuck to it. They proved to us that they are the gold standard in the landscaping business in the San Antonio area

Oh Maldonado Landscaping...they dont return your calls, they take forever and day to complete their projects and when they finally do its a half ass job, at a ridiculous price. They will mess up your irrigation system and cause you to pay the water company hundreds of dollars...they will own up to it in writing but never offer to repair it and still expect you to pay them. Dont waste your energy and money with this company.

They came out quickly to provide a quote for services but thats the last time I was able to make contact. I called 4 times since then and never get a call back. Had to take business elsewhere.

I have been waiting over a week for a service call about my sprinkler systemOne of your employees came to my home in Alamo Ranch Summit III. He looked around and told me he couldnt find the master valve and that the water pressure was low which could be caused by a leakHavent heard from them since.

I had an awesome experience with Maldonado Nursery and landscaping they were very friendly and efficient. I definitely recommend them for your next landscaping project.

I Called Wednesday around 9:30am and left information. Was told a design consultant was on the phone and would call me back shortly.35 hours later....and no return phone call! Very irritating.
