If I could give Diane more stars I would. This was my lst time getting waxed. Was nervous but Diane answered All my guestions and made me feel comfortable and it wasnt that bad to get waxed.. she is very professional and nice.. I most definitely be back in 6 weeks. I have received waxing services for over 20 years, and Diane is exceptional in all areas of her profession. I have been going to Diane for several years, and drive in from out of town for my appointments. She is fast, efficient, keeps pain to a minimum, and the results are excellent. She must use quality products, because her results last weeks. After these several years, I can honestly say the quality and results are consistent.

I had an appt at 3:30, at that time I called to ask for the suite number, I was already by the H‑E‑B grocery store (2 mins at max travel time). I dialed in so she buzzed me in. After taking my temperature at the entrance and walking thru the maze of salons I found the studio, by then it was 10 mins passed my appt. She said she could not take me because she had a 4pm appointment. Mind you, I had a Brazilian wax scheduled-impossible to do in 30 mins. I would have appreciated that she would have told me that she would not take me over the phone or on the speaker when she buzzed me. Waste of time. Do NOT recommend! Fortunately, Waxing the City (in the same shopping center) took me! Much better reception and amazing results!

I have been going to Diane for almost 5 years since I moved to Texas. She is amazing. She provides the right balance of talking and not. Sometimes I want to chat and other times I just want to zone out. She remembers who I am and always asks me about certain things. I personally like having the TV on. It helps distract from the pain and keeps your mind occupied. She does a great and through job. I recommend her to anyone looking for a wax.

I’ve been going to Diane for 4 years and she’s amazing. Never any missed spots and she’s incredibly fast. She’s very friendly and always has a good tv show on. I tried Europe’s wax center when one opened super close to my house but Diane’s skills are just untouchable. My hair grew back as though I had shaved but not with Diane. Price is extremely low for her quality of work!!

I dont understand some of the bad reviews on here about Dianes customer service skills. She provides high quality work for a very reasonable price. And fast! I got a brazillian wax, underarms, and chin done in just over 30 minutes. And under 100 bucks! She nothing but friendly, professional, and polite. The T.V. being on is OK. It distracts from the occasional sting! Very happy with her service. My skin feels buttery smooth!

I went to Diane about a total of 4 times, she had good prices, almost unbeatable until I went to European Wax Center (way better in my opinion). Diane is rude, and unprofessional. She does not engage with her clients, she will make condescending comments. I never truly felt comfortable with her, especially because she would never wax with her undivided attention. Always watched TV while waxing, and would wax without warning. Shes an old bitter lady who knows nothing about customer service

The business is very clean and sanitary and you wont see any double-dipping here (meaning a new stick/applicator is used every time & never dips backs into wax after its intial use). First time ever being waxed(chest, back, butt, Brazilian) and was really nervous as a guy. Dianne was very professional and candid. The waxing itself was unpleasant but the results were fantastic! She said the second time is normally easier and that I should take something for pain before coming in the next time. I would highly recommend her and will be going back in 4-6 weeks.

I had scheduled an appointment with Diane. When I arrived her door was closed, I began waiting outside for 45 min. I knocked and said I was there. She gave no response. I knocked again then she rudely replied she was there. I waited longer and could hear her carrying on a casual conversation with her WHITE client, may I add during my appointments she says hello and thats all. Diane never replied Ill be with be soon, your next, Im running behind schedule, nothing. She finally was finished and told me she was running behind due to a lady on a conference call earlier that day. What I didnt appreciate was waiting with a rude response and when she finally got to me she was unapologetic. As I mentioned before she never once initiated small talk during our appointment. She had me laying there exposed, in silence. I went to her a total of 3 times and on the last time I felt like maybe if I was a skinny, rich white women she would have given me a better greeting saying she was running late that day and maybe she would have taken a keen interest in me. She lost my business, I go to the was bar now.

I go to Diane every time I get waxed. She is friendly and affordable. She would be well worth the price or the drive due to her high quality of service and professionalism. I wont go anywhere else.

Diane is super chill and efficient

Very unprofessional and unwelcoming. When confirming the appointment it is stated in the email that she would not accept anyone FIVE minutes late. My appointment was at 5:00. I arrived 10 minutes earlier and could hear that she was speaking with someone so I politely waited outside and decided to knock at 4:58 so she would know that I arrived in time. I heard no response even though she said she responded. And so at 5:05 I knocked again. This time I heard her and it was because she yelled saying that she was busy. It was at this time that I knew I was not returning. To make the experience with her worse, her overall demeanor was very cold. No eye contact, not even an apology for making me wait on her. The procedure of the hair removal was uncomfortable. She began without warning. I understand that having hair waxed is a painful process but I have been to other estheticians who are curteous enough to ask me to take a deep breathe and walk me through what was being done to my body. This woman did not say a single word willingly during the appointment which made it even more uncomfortable. I had to ask her the questions before I could even begin to start a conversation but by that time, she was already finishing up. This experience overall was just not a positive one. Yes, I pay to have my legs waxed not to make a friend BUT, as a consumer that has her legs waxed regularly, there is more than just waxing involved. I think anyone would agree in saying that hair removal can be an uncomfortable experience especially when done by a stranger and so the PROFESSIONAL should be considerate enough to ensure that their client is as comfortable as possible. This woman was just unprofessional. I highly suggest going to someone else unless you dont mind being yelled at from someone who calls herself a professional from behind a door while you wait past your appointment time just to have a painful experience by someone who has no consideration for how you feel.

I had an appointment for a Brazilian wax last week. I was referred to Diane specifically for this service by a friend. I wish I had read the reviews prior and I probably would have thought twice about seeing her. The negative reviews about her are very accurate. She was rude and unprofessional from the moment I walked in. I was on time for my appointment so that was no excuse for her behavior. When I walked in she did not introduce herself or even greet me with a smile. She was not very welcoming. Instead she handed me a paper to fill out and instructed me on how to get undressed. It was my first time getting this service, which she was aware of, and I was very nervous about how painful it would be. I reminded her of this and she rolled her eyes at me. She asked me when was the last time I shaved in a very demeaning way. I told her somewhere between 7-10 days. She said that Inwas supposed to wait atleast 14 days and that there would still be hair left. She didn’t even ask me if I still wanted to proceed. She did not explain anything to me or attempt to make me comfortable, she just started applying the hot wax to a large area. She immediately waxed three strips simultaneously and it HURT! She turned around within seconds and applied more wax. I blocked my private area with my hands and asked her to give me a minute. She yelled at me and told me to move my hands because there was was down there. I told her I understand but I needed a minute to catch my breath. She aggressively told me she didn’t have a minute because she has other clients with appointments. I told her I understood, but that all I was asking for was a little compassion. She said she wasn’t going to “argue” with me and that she was done. She walked out and left me there laying naked on the table with an unfinished wax job and a tiny drape just covering my private area. I have never felt so disrespected and humiliated. I was outraged! Within six minutes I was in and out. Getting a Brazilian is hard enough because you are exposing the most private part of your body to a complete stranger...and they are ALL up in there. A person can’t be in a more vulnerable position. It seems that maybe Diane is arrogant, has an authority complex, or both. I am VERY surprised that she stays in business. I was preparing for a beach trip two days later so I had to sit in the parking lot and find somewhere else to finish the service.I ended up at The Wax Bar #3 and it was amazing! The worst pain I felt could not be compared to the pain I felt from Diane during the three strips she pulled. Which by the way left me with very red skin and tiny drops of blood. At The Wax Bar, I only asked for a 10 second break once and the licensed aesthetician was happy to give it to me. She was very sweet, explained every step of the process including what to expect, and she talked to me the whole time. She said the hair length was perfect and at the end she cleaned things up with minimal tweezing. She also used hard wax which was not as hot or abrasive. I already have my next appointment set up.If you expect good customer service beware, Diane will not be for you.

I went to Diane a few years ago and my experience was so awful that I have to give my honest review to warn others out there about her (better late than never). It was horrible, I dont know what all the positive reviews are about. First of all she was watching TV while she gave me a Brazilian. Secondly, she stopped in the middle of the wax to call her business neighbor to tell her that the customer they thought was hot was waiting in the hall and that too bad he was gay, are you freaking kidding me? How rude and unprofessional. It was my first and last time I went to her. Disgusting.

I wouldnt go to anyone else! Diane knows exactly what shes doing and her kind spirit is contagious.

I set an appointment at 1:45 and at 2:15 to get two areas done. When I got there the lady in the front desk escorted me to where she was because I had never been there. Her door was closed and she told me to wait outside because she doesn’t like to be disturbed. 2:00 came along so I knocked on the door, no one answered tried calling no answer. Finally at 2:30 she comes out with a plate of food and her purse. I said excuse me are you Diane she said yes. I told her I’ve been waiting for my appointments. She said your late. I told her I’ve been calling and knocking. Her response was to bad. Locked her door and walked away. She is an extremely rude, unprofessional old lady. I do not recommend her.
