Great staff and very clean facilities.I highly recommend this gym.

This is a great friendly facility with staff who cares. Just a great place to get and stay fit. Kirk & Macy are skilled and friendly at the pool. So grateful for a place to independently continue water therapy after surgery and engage with some wonderful people.

This YMCA is small but its friendly staff and safe environment make it a pleasant place to spend time. The indoor pool is clean and well appointed. The group swimming lessons I take a young friend to, are well supervised for safety and have an excellent instructor. The neighboring gym has basketball camps going on inside it when I am there. There are treadmills and stationary bikes. Gym equipment is available. There is now a small designated area for free weight training. Covid-19 safety measures followed. Classes such as yoga, stretching and zumba offered.

I am prod member of the Davis Scott YMCA . I am proud to say it is a pillar of the community. Loving people who know HEALTH!

Davis-Scott YMCA is very Great for the community. It brings people from all different backgrounds together. I love this place and all it has to offer. I would give them 6 Stars if I could.

Only YMCA that requires reservations on the basketball court when no one is using it. Very humid in the weight room, boss lady is kind of rude.

Wonderful friendly place, the staff are very welcoming to me and my son. Also, the gym is very clean. I love being a member of the YMCA.

The front desk clerk Robin is so knowledgeable and kind and a hard worker. She makes our experiences inviting each time. Also Kirk the swimming lifeguard, is always on alert to watch the safety of everyone swimming. Best lifeguard I have ever seen !!🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Its a small YMCA but its a great place. Adequate amount of workout equipment. Excellent customer service. Plenty of parking. Coffee is available, clean restrooms, and better than average instructors. It has a swimming pool.It provides plenty of activities for kids,young adults, adults and seniors. They keep a bible on the counter. I dont know how it happened but even the customers are great. Very friendly and polite people go their.

Great customer service, very sweet people. This place needs updates! New treadmills would be awesome!! Update the childcare area, give the kids in the watch area something to do and not just a closet to hang out in. The people in there really try with what they have but give them more!

My experience here was awesome. The staff is great and attentive. Swim instructor Kirk Brown is extremely overqualified for his position here. I highly recommend taking lessons with him while he’s still available.

Been playing in the volleyball league her for 2 stints already and I really enjoy it. Its a great location and so friendly. Staff is great and you can just tell that everyone really enjoys what they do! Would definitely reccomend joining one of their sports leagues.

Very friendly environment and staff. Different equipment to work with. However, I just wish the group fitness classes were more aligned with the child watch hours. It is split in a weird way to where I have so few options. Overall, I still get a good workout here.

When I first started in Feb. 2015, my goal was to increase activity to regulate my blood glucose. The beautifully landscaped exterior and well-designed perimeter walking trail was a real attraction for me, as I learned to love power-walking 5 days a week. I was very satisfied with the group activity classes for seniors, especially chair dance. I was helped tremendously by participating in the diabetes classes, learning about smart food choices, etc. Due to my participation, my A1C went from >7 in 2015 to 5.4 in 2017!!! The staff has always been courteous, warm and supportive. And I do appreciate the sense of community there. Today, I maintain a walking schedule and am trying to convince my husband to join. Lacing up my sneakers and donning my Y id tag really makes me feel good. I am a true fan of the Y experience, especially at Davis-Scott!

This YMCA is one of the best in San Antonio. They open their doors every Sunday morning to allow churches to have service their. This is a rare but true blessing. I attend here every Sunday for church service with New Direction Christian Center. Church begins at 9:15am and Pastor Oliver Moffett is a phenomenal leader and speaker. This a great place for worship in a relaxed, nonjudgmental atmosphere and come just as you are. The YMCA is a great place for recreational activities.

Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about things that will help me achieve my goals. They never make me feels like just another fee that pays their pay check. They are lively and very welcoming.

Awesome place. Can get crowded especially when tourniment is in progress. Have fun.

The facilities smell like old sweat. There are no free-standing standing squat racks. They also will get you on the cancellation policy and needing 30 days no matter what the circumstance might be.

I love Davis and Scott the coaches are great they really know how to send good vibes to the children. Coach Natasha for volleyball is awesome she knows her stuff. I was very disappointed when i found out they were not going to have Volleyball this next season. The girls really look forward to that. I hope the YMCA reconsiders

Awesome place to be as well as with your family, you can get the benefits to exercise, swim and learn how to swim. Amazing activities for everyone. Coaches and staff team are very kind and helpful to assist in dfferent departments from gym, pool, aerobics, sports all sorts of things they offer... Go and check it out😃😊👍

I would have given it a 5 but the staff is lax on children playing on the machines.But the facility is adequate . Its small and homey. You can tell that the community is supporting the Y .I also like that you can work out there with no judgment. You dont feel like you dont belong.The staff is helpful and plentiful.

Great place to get it in. Family oriented with designed activities and spaces for children. Lots of fitness activities for all ages. Weight room is small but there is a nice size swimming pool, a sauna, space for zumba and body combat activities, basketball courts and children area. The best thing about this Y is the friendly staff.

Great YMCA for the community and the swimming lessons for my two boys were great! Coach Brown is a great teacher and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience here!

I enjoy going to the Davis Scott YMCA its a friendly family atmosphere its somewhere where you are always remembered by the staff. The trainers work with you at your level but dont leave you at your level encourage you to find a new level. They also provide programs to teach you how to eat healthy along with your workout.

We always come here to get a workout in. The new track around the facility is great. And the hill always helps with getting a leg workout for the day. Having a membership is awesome! There are so many activities, swimming, zumba, basketball, weight lifting, child care, etc. I really love that I chose the Y as my new gym home.

The staff that works greet you as you walk in,always smiling and a very relaxed atmosphere. Ready willing and able to respond to any need you may have. Every experience Ive had was awesome and would recommend to anyone

I really enjoy working out there. Staff and instructors are very friendly. I get a great workout three times a week taking two senior classes each of those days.

So far I really like the gym and the staff is very friendly and seem to enjoy working for the y..the best part are the classes offered and I especially like the locker room and the fact there is a pool and sauna. Overall Im pleased to start my weight loss journey here at the y! 😁

I enjoy how friendly the staff is with me and my children. How they are ready to help. ALWAYS with a smile on their face. I also like the gym area and the ActivTrax, helps me to workout at my own pace without feeling judgement. Lol We will keep going back and telling all out friends and family about the YMCA AND HOW MUCH WE LOVE THIS PLACE

Theres so many activities to do here at the y its simply amazing...

I visited for two days while I was in San Antonio last week, everyone was so nice and it was a very nice facility, inside and out.

Small student:coach ratio, kids will all learn same skills regardless of who they work with, organized, set lessons

Nice instructors. Small classes to be able to provide quality instruction for each child. Definitely signing up for additional swimming lessons.

Went there for sons swimming lessons. Front desk people are very friendly and helpful. Swimming instructors are good (and patient).

Staff could be more involved and get OFF their cell phones when sitting behind the front desk.Otherwise, has a big swimming pool, nice gym, Nice, safe place to hang out.

This is an awesome place. One of the nicest YMCAs that I have ever seen. I was so surprised to see the big indoor pool as you walk into the gym. The staff is extremely helpful and knowlegeable.

The programs offered are all inclusive, children and adults. Everyone is very welcoming and if ever there is a disagreement, every option is explored before a definitive action is taken.

Signed up my three great neices & nephew to go for swim lessons... decided to try this closer one vs travelling across town. It seemed clean & the staff was friendly.

The Sports area leaves much to be desired. They need to really evaluate how they choose their volunteers that are cosches. I am very disappointed in how the sports program is being ran. If you are trying to introduce your children to a sport and want them to learn it then I would look elsewhere.

Just got my membership and I LOVE IT !!!! everyone is so nice and encouraging . The child watch ladies where amazing as welll, Im beyond protective of my son and i felt extremely okay with leaving him there while i worked out. . ❤️ Im only a few days in but i’m sure with the people there i’m a member for a good while!

Front desk lady by the name Robin couldn’t and didn’t want to take the time to explain to me the family packages that they have to offer even after I explained to her that I couldn’t physically go to the gym at the moment she refused to give my information over the phone She said they was only two people at the moment and they don’t give pricing and package information over the phone.
