So I recently got placed in a job that wasnt for me to be honest the job was sitting down on a forklift for a long period of time.im a type that likes to keep moving in a career. I recently got a call for a way better opportunity and better pay as well. Something that benefits me... iv worked for Ranstad before and loved every bit of it but in North Carolina. As I woke up I had let Chad the one who placed me into the job to thank him and let him know I found a better opportunity..instead of telling me congratulations. He told me because I never gave a two week notice that I am no longer able to have a future with ranstad again. A Temp service that claims they help people but is so easy to give up on people when the jobs obviously not what they expected on the firstnight...its better to not waste time with a job that trains you and gets you ready to work for them if you know for a fact you wont be there for long.puting in your 2 week notice the first night of employment I feel would affect the company more by having to train another person when you can find someone 2 or 3 days from now that will stay...Im very disappointed in this Agency and how Chad only cared about making him look bad to the clients when we are what gets him paid as well.i just think that me not working there after my first night would just be ridiculous to put in a 2 week notice for a job I have never worked...why train someone in 2 weeks that is leaving anyway..that make no sense what so ever.and for him to say that he would feel uncomfortable to ever place me again thats fine. With working in his type of field should really prove something about his job...cause i know when I worked for one I NEVER gave up on anyone...I had a great mind set that jobs are not for everyone but if you find that one job they do enjoy working and has a career makes me feel great like I have done my job right...cause in all reality there is something out there for everyone.
