This was just such a disappointing and frightening experience.First of all, the office is located behind a catering business, not visible to pedestrians or drivers that are driving through the road.After a call made to reception, she instructed us to park in the back and go through the exit door which was wide open and very easy for ANYONE off the street to walk in and rob the business, vandalize, etc.Upon arrival, the lawyer asked for our ID, which seemed a bit odd but the need to create a client profile somewhat justified the reasoning. This was followed by very personal questions in regards to place of work, permanent residence and so on, until he finally asked for a SSN and a photograph to be taken on site that we finally decided it was time to leave.We hadnt even begun to discuss our issues, cause of visit or any other information that specifically pertained to the actual visit. He did not clearly explain why he was filing such sensitive information, nor did he put our mind at ease, nor did he justify any of his actions, other than oh well the Chinese already have that information, which we found very unprofessional to say considering we were concerned with disclosing something as sensitive and private as a SSN to a place of business, and keep in mind this was a FREE CONSULTATION! I am shocked and appalled and frankly unsure why a lawyer of all people, would behave in such a way.If our information ever gets compromised, I know who did it.
