Excellent service!!! I did some calling around for quotes and they were as high as $210 to have 3 shirts tailored. A&D told me it would be $10 to shorted some sleeves and $15 to shorten the shirt, for a total of $75. What an amazing price!!! And the work they did was high quality too. It was very neat and straight. Great stitching too. The ladies that work there are so very kind and have a fun personality. They made me feel very welcomed. On day one they got me situated in about 5 minutes. They even gave me some pointers because I have never had any alterations done before. I was given a pick-up date for 3 days later but they actually finished it in 2 days. I highly recommend A&D Alterations.

Took my work vest to get altered they said it would be done Friday wasn’t able to get it till the following week and there was nothing done to it. I asked if they could fix it cause it was still the same size and they wanted to charge me 15$ more when I had already paid 21$ for the “so called alterations they had done” For anybody looking for alterations to be done this isn’t the place to go it’s a waste of money

Got my bridesmaid dress and just a regular jumpsuit altered here and it came out really good. The prices are good and the ladies are very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Did an excellent job of replacing a very long zipper in some work coveralls. Also did a great job of extending the shallower pockets, making them deeper.

They are wonderful there isnt anything they cant fix. Going into there shop is a breath of fresh air so kind so polite. They do awesome work on military uniforms. And are on door with everything else they do.

I took my work pants in, I told the lady I wanted the length to be long and she did the complete opposite. They’re borderline high water pants. I also asked for my thigh area to be snug and they’re extremely baggy. When I mentioned I wanted them tighter while she was fitting me she said “it’s already tight enough”. Obviously it wasn’t tight enough because I have these parachute pants. She also didn’t bother to fit my waist line, I still have a lot of extra material. Waste of time and money.

Great place very nice did a very good job with my clothes

I took my jeans to get the length shortened. After picking them up and trying them on. The lengths were so uneven. Took them back to get fixed but they had to go with the shorter length instead of the original length I wanted because of their mistake and it was short. Won’t be going back

A & D does a great job of alterations. I mainly take my dressy slacks and jeans. They are ready in a day or less than a week. They accept checks or cash, no credit or debit cards.

Outstanding service and very friendly staff. True to their word, same day service. Highly recommend this place for alterations, repairs, and patches needing to be sewn to uniforms.

Nice lady good prices to fix your garments

Dropped off a blanket to get embroidered and after a week I went to pick it up. Not even started and they made an excuse. Mind you I only needed 1 letter embroidered in the corner, a small size of 4”x4”. Went back a few days later to an excuse and still not started. At Christmas when time is valuable they didn’t even text to tell me they are unable to complete my order. They never even apologized whatsoever when I went back the final time. With sooooo many alteration places here there will never be a need for me to return to this joint. Never again 👎🏽

This place saved me when I need sameday alteration at closing time. Not only they helped me bus they where nice too. I highly recommend them.

They are amazing! They have a very quick turnaround time and can do simple hems or alter things like a lined suit jacket. Also very affordable prices.

I went to take in my wedding dress to get altered because one of my sisters told me she took hers there and only paid about $80. So I went ahead and decided to take my dress as well as my nieces dress, who is going to be one of the flower girls. My nieces dress was a little too big on her, so they did take in about 4 inches all together. I told my sister to take my other niece (the other flower girl) to get her dress altered there as well and her dress probably had to be taken in about 1 inch. Im there and theyre pinning where the hemline will be and also pinning in the sides to take in. They told me my nieces dress will be $25 to take in and to add in a clip on the back to prevent the dress from unzipping. My sister arrives with my other niece as theyre pinning my dress. After taking off my dress, they gave me the receipt and I was told it was going to cost $300 to hem and take in my dress and it did not include adding a bustle or attaching the belt. I ended up taking my dress somewhere else because that was way too expensive. I went down the street and found someone to do it for $190 including the hem, taking it in on the sides, adding the belt, and bustle. My sister stayed behind at the alterations and she told me they charged her $40 to do her daughters dress. Which does not make any sense because I was charged $25 to do my nieces and they have the exact same dress. Only thing different was that my nieces dress was taking in more on the sides than my sisters daughters dress. I feel their prices are inconsistent and too expensive.

I had taken in two dresses, that I bought on discount. They were very reasonable on pricing for the alterations. This is my favorite place to go for alterations. They do quality work and have the cutest black cat roaming around. I love this place, would definitely recommend. Thank You A&D!

Amazing work and amazing employee

After reading the reviews, I came here too. I was greeted with friendliness and taken care of right away. They open earlier than most places, because I was in need of some clothing help and I needed it same day. They delivered 100% and reasonable! They have my business moving forward, and recommending my friends. It’s a bit out of my way, but worth it. The owner is so sweet states she’s been here for 20yrs! Regulars were coming in and catching up on their conversations where they left off. I love that!

I loved the service here and the alterations I ended up getting on a long gown dress for a wedding. It turned out far better than I anticipated! I got the top cropped and adjusted to fit my torso, especially the piece hanging off my shoulder which was hanging loose. The bottom hemmed (it was dragging long), and a higher slit. I found the price reasonable for the alterations but that would probably vary for others. Youre not going to find a perfect and well done job for $20 and under. You will end up paying more to get that fixed. I didnt find a flaw after the alterations. The dress fit amazing and was absolutely content with the results! I wish I could have known about this place sooner! Thank you for your service!

Great, but petty expensive

Wonderful people who do great work! My wife & I have been taking stuff here for years... Simple things like sewing on boy scout patches to shortening sleeves to anything you might need. They are great.

This place is amazing! I brought in my dress for alterations on the length since it was too long as well as the chest area and sleeves and Linda did an amazing job!!! There was a small bit at the bottom showing but Linda fixed it for me right away and it looks fantastic!!! The owner is super friendly too so she makes you feel welcome 😊 Im very happy with my order and cant wait to wear my gown for my Masquerade!! 😁💛

Im only giving this 1 star because of the inconsistency with the prices, the owners and TAT of the alterations are AWESOME... however I initially came and got a quote from the person who did the alterations and when I came back she charged me 30.00 more, even though I had a written note from her and showed it to her she said it was the prices of the owner but then the owner told me was alterations persons prices...I just hate that people cant take accountability for things that they say or do. Other than that make sure you have them give you accurate information....the owners are very nice people and this review has nothing to do with them other than the person who altered my wedding dress.

Great job on alterations! Its getting hot out there. I went to another alterations store close to my house and front door was locked open sign was on so I drove down the road to A&D and they altered my pants to shorts in 2 days. I was having some alterations done on my suit trousers. These ladies have been in business for over 23 years and it shows with their exemplary customer service and attention to detail. Its a a small shop but a huge heart for business ethics. I highly recommend this establishment to all in need of any type of alteration both formal and informal.

These are a bunch of crook old ladies. When I came and gave them my 5 jeans they told me $8 each. But when I picked up - they told me they need to charge $15 each. Avoid these shameless oldladies.

Excellent service! 3 jackets and 4 slacks came back altered perfectly, the price is right, and the turnaround was even sooner than estimated. I recommend A&D to all my business colleagues now.

Good experiences with friendly staff

I have been taking my dresses here for over five years now. Even to fix another alteration places mistakes. They have wonderful service, great work, and get it done it a timely manner ever time. Love it.

These people are phenomenal tailors. They do excellent work thats absurdly quick, even on very complex, large jobs. I had two suits altered from top to bottom after I lost a lot of weight and they had it done in less than a week. The price is also impossible to beat, at roughly $100 for taking in two jackets, two pairs of pants, and adjusting the lengths of the arms and legs on both as well. Couldnt be happier with them.

I only needed some altering on a simple evening dress because it was a little long from the bottom. I had no rush, so it was going to take 1 week. Everything was fine, the lady was really nice. Then I saw the price. I was getting charged 51.96 for a simple (by simple, I mean no beadings or any pattern or difficult fabric) I left speechless and very uncomfortable with the price. That same day I asked around and everyone agreed that I was getting overpriced. I went to pick up my dress the next day to take somewhere else. I did feel bad just because the employees were very sweet.

I took my bridesmaid dress in and a week later it fit perfectly. Cant even tell it was altered and they did a very clean sewing job! Will be going back for anything else that needs to be fixed!

I had gotten a jacket with a badly sewn sleeve, and took it to A&D Alterations in desperation for it to be fixed. It was a quick in and out, the lady at the counter continuously smiled and said I could pick it up any time the next day. So when I came in 2 hours after theyd opened the following day, my jacket was finished and perfect! Also the price wasnt so bad either ^^ Thanks so much!

They were great! The prices were reasonable, and showed me exactly what I needed on my suit. When I go pick my suit up, Im bringing more clothes for them to take care of!

We took husbands military uniform to get stripes sewn on. The lady at the counter said they don’t sew on “too many stripes.” Master Sargeant Stripes is what we needed sewn on.In our opinion, if you claim you sew stripes and are a true seamstress business, you would know how to sew any number of items.This place is horrible!

I was charged for hem and taper on 2 skirts $35. They taper on 1 deim skirt, bubble around the back of the waist and it was done with black thread. I ask to come back and she would give me back my money. I was given $8, I question why I was given $8, if she only work on 1 skirt. At that point she couldnt understand my English. Poor service, bad work....

This is the best alteration place in the area. I have used a few, and by far they are best, and have reasonable prices.
