Just recently moved to San Antonio after having the same barber for 17 years walked in asked the first barber how long the wait would be and if they did hot shaves he said one minute and he left for a moment the customer he was working on briefly walked to the back he came back with a young man named Avery .Avery Introduced himself and I told him what I wanted I asked him how much he told me he took me in right away spent about 45 minutes with him he was friendly professional and a great attitude Matter fact I liked him enough when my son got out of school I took him back at 4:30 and again Avery Took him in right away as He just finished up with another customer. Avery thank you Highly recommended will be back again

My son has been going to his barber 💈 Eric for almost three years now. We always schedule an appointment as it is indicated at their shop especially if you have a specific barber. My son refuses to go with anyone but him. Every time we go it is busy and I have personally seen other barbers ask those who are waiting if they need a cut. I recently started taking my younger son there and Eric has been great with him, very professional and takes pride in what he does. My boys cuts are always ON POINT! Great Barbershop 💈 Thank you!!!!

They were all nice but the barber I went to specifically, forgot his name but he in the first chair when you walk in on the right, he was really cool. I was a walk in and he squeezed my son in pretty much as soon as I asked b/c he had a late arrival appointment. Just make sure that when you walk in that you sign in on the clip board. I didnt even know there was one, its not real obvious.

Went here for just a basic military cut. Waited a few minutes to get seated and expected just a quick cut. The Barber was very detailed in his work and took him time to make sure it was done properly. He went over the same section multiple times and then went back over it with a fine tipped razor. The whole thing took about 45 minutes. The Barber was friendly and the place was nice and clean. I would definitely go back and would recommend to others.

Eric Botello saved my hair from a horrible cut from another barber. Very professional & friendly. Quality work. The barbershop isnt very women friendly some days with the convos the men have. But Eric is always professional & always made me feel comfortable. His services are truly On Point!

I would like to take the opportunity, to thank every barber here at on point barber shop. Ive been coming to on point barbershop for a little over 2 years now I generally walk in due to my schedule from time to time I will call to make a appointment. I have to say this is the best place Ive been to get a great and very detailed haircut, and also the barbers provide great customer service every time I walk in there, I dont have a preferred or set barber, Ive tried every barber in the shop and I have to say everyone is very skilled and talented in the barbershop every barber pays attention to detail and very precise with there craft, it also a great environment at the barbershop as well. This guys have great conversations with each other you can tell all the barbers are very close knit with other another, love how they balance the conversations from serious real life conversations to going and joking around all for good fun. The barbershop is very clean and always well maintained. On point is the place I come to get away from life a bit and enjoy those 30 plus minutes to myself. I always appreciate great customer service and if your looking for a great haircut and also great customer services in a great environment this is the place to come to all 12 barbers are very talented at what they do and take there craft very serious you will always leave looking On point

I have been here twice to try and give this spot my business. I get my haircut every 6 days with my barber of 17 years. I spend a substantial amount on my cut and shave. This place is 2 minutes from my home which is much more convenient than the 30 minute drive I make for my regular barber. I walked in to this place on two different mornings and could not even get acknowledged. I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to the nature of this business and how they typically operate. I didnt think that a greeting was too much to ask. The first time I waited 42 minutes and never was spoken to at all so I left. I gave them another chance to earn my business. I waited again without being acknowledged for 30 minutes. I was finally greeted and offered some service. I asked the gentlemen cutting my hair a few questions about his career, the history of the shop, and offered some of my own personal information. I became especially discouraged when I learned that the owner of the shop was the first chair at the front of the establishment. To be in business and not respect the table stakes of entrepreneurship is discouraging to a fellow business owner. Customer/guest relations is price of entry especially as you attempt to grow your presence in the community. I hope things change for this gentleman and his establishment.

Very nice barbershop. It’s a bit of a drive from where I live but well worth it. Edgar cuts my hair there and I always get complimented on it.

My son and I have been with our barber, Phabian for the past 3 years. When he moved to On Point Barber Shop, naturally, we followed. The atmosphere and discussions are always On Point (pun intended) and Phabian always has my son and I in and out and on our way. All the barbers here do great work but its much faster if you have an appointment. I would post some pics, but youll just have to stop in and see the barbers in action for yourself.

First time there, walked in and like the other reviews there was no greeting from the barbers let alone any acknowledgement that i was there. Waited 30 minutes to find out one u needed an appointment and 2 the guy that does walk ins was not there and was not answering his phone. The other barbers in the facility made no attempt to assist the situation just carried on like there were no walkins waiting... there were 5 of us so far and another customer had already walked out. Wont go there again, aweful customer service.

To the owner: I am reading your responses to the negative reviews and in a majority of them you are negating the comments or being defensive. Why would strangers come to your business just to make up stories? I came to your shop 1 year ago with my son. It was fairly early and it wasnt busy and lots of seats for me to sit in up front. There were about 4-5 barbers there and maybe 2 or 3 sitting down not cutting. NOW I understand that they may have had clients coming however to just be completely ignored and I am sitting for 25 minutes. No one asked me anything. I finally left. I did a review back then as well but I guess I cannot add another so I decided to just edit the original after reading your response to everyone.A business atmosphere is a reflection of the owner and from what I see customer feedback is of little importance or deemed to be lies or exaggerated. But as I read the other comments, I immediately related to the experience. I always say many business owners are working longer years, not as wealthy as they can be simply based on customer service. If you deduct $1.00 off a million dollars it still affects the total. Its no longer a million dollars. If you add $1.00 to a million, even though its just one dollar, you are still $1.00 richer. It still has value. Each customer has value and that begins with listening and improving.Customers dont lose money by going to another barbershop, you do. Especially in the Potranco/Westover area, there are only a few of good ones. However, I took my son elsewhere and I was fortunate enough to have found a shop with great barbers, stellar cuts and hands down great customer service.You may also negate this comment but that is okay as well. To each his own.

Its good to have a reliable barber. Appts are always on time. All of the barbers in her can cut and they run a respectable business.

My son was waiting there for 2 hours and was never called up. Worst service ever. I even signed him up as soon as I got there. This place should make sure to let everyone know to make appointments only. NO WALK-INS!!!! Im pretty sure that they can do some awesome haircuts but my son will never know.

These guys are NOT OnPoint!I sat there for 15 minutes. watching 3 or 4 barbers just Texting. Im the only one waiting. and left to Champs... Gave this place another chance. Went in right before closing... only one waiting AGAIN. another guy comes in after me, and they cut his hair. Neither one of us had a appointment, and they tell me sorry we already done for the day and gave me a business card. Go to CHAMPS on Potranco!

Walked in and no one greeted me, lots of chatting and no eye contact from the 7 barbers working. My initial reaction? Poor customer service! I had to initiate contact and the barber was very stand -offish which was the end of me trying to spend my dollars in this shop! Have three sons and we will not be coming to this shop. To the owner, just by your responses it doesnt seem like a pleasant experience. So Im going elsewhere today. You seem to not like it when people dont do appointments. If you have a independant barber shop that learns that the customer pays the bills you will have more business than you can handle.

This place is the worse this is the 3rd time I come and they don’t even acknowledge us and they always take everyone who comes in and signs in and I was sign in. Like if you only go by appointments you guys should at least say something to us instead of leaving us waiting in other words y’all are the worse with customers who don’t have appointments and With Communication I’m never going back. I don’t recommend This place if you don’t know the people.

Ive been going to On Point Barbershop for over a year now; and the quality and customer service has been great. I make all my appointments using the Style Seat app, which is great for someone like me that always has a very busy schedule.

Usually no walk ins, but it was a last minute before school haircut. They were open and taking walk in till a certain time. Very nice outgoing barbers.

Good Haircuts! But the appointments that you set are never on time I have made an appointment at a certain time then waited 45 mins till Im actually in the chair! Even had to cancel the other day because he had 2 people in my spot when it was supposed to be my Time but other then that there fades are nice and Im alway happy with my cut

Your typical run of the mill wannabe Ice cube barber shop in San Antonio, TX. On point is the last thing that describes this shop. Several barbers sitting or hiding in the back while walk in customers sit and wait for no reason. This seem to be typical with SAT barber shops. No greeting, No welcome to our shop... just a bunch of awkward stairs from the thuggish looking barbers.

WAY overpriced, $30 for a fade 🤦🏻‍♂️. Dudes cant even say wassup when you walk in.
