I came in as a walk in and only sall one customer ahead of me . With two stylist not working and the first customer of the day also having to sit down for an excessive period of time is unacceptable and unprofessional. I checked in with the front desk, the clerk asked if I have a appointment, which I didn’t, and claimed they are booked all the way until 12pm (currently 9am when they opened), I told her “I’ll wait” because I know some businesses play games with telling you an excessive wait hoping to turn you away to go somewhere else, and she came off as ‘disgusted’ that I was going to sit in her lobby like an ‘eyesore’ . If you’re looking at trying this place, I would go somewhere else . The guy ahead of me told me that 2/3rds of the appointments don’t even show. So how does this place even make money? Turning away customers isn’t going to work. That’s money walking out your door! Also customers are more than willing to talk about a bad experience than a good one which is why I’m leaving this comment.

I am a regular customer at Mane Man and have been so since shortly after it opened its front doors for the first time. I get my hair cut by Barb and Sarah. I am an extremely satisfied customer. I have known the owner, Barb, for many years since she managed the Sports Clips on SE Military Dr. I was a big fan of hers then and continue to be a big fan till this day of how she treats the customers as well as she treats the hair stylists that work for her.

Mane Man Men’s Grooming has never let me down. I was very pleased to hear they opened a second location on Huebner Rd. Prices are incredibly reasonable and the stylist are amazing. Everyone is always friendly and accommodating. I have been seeing Barb for years now, she is a perfectionist and the only professional stylist I trust. I came in as a walk in and was promptly greeted.. when I asked if they were taking walking they said what service did I need, I replied with I need a haircut, beard trim shave and ear and nose wax ! Then I was told they were fully booked for the day, I was then told they had a opening at 245 pm and I had arrived shortly after opening. This wasn’t the 1st time I was turned away it’s happened a few times before.. i guess walk-in money isn’t as good as appointment money . Customer service should still be part of a good work ethic no matter if a appointment was made or not .

Went in for a haircut 3/4 of the staff was standing around doing nothing but texting on their phones... was told that they were booked for the day sat outside for about an hour and no one else had shown up guess this place likes to say there booked and have their staff standing around doing nothing will not be returning.

I got a haircut here after growing my hair out long. I took off around 10 inches and while it was styled it looked fine, but after a shower I quickly realized it was totally uneven as one side was noticeably longer than the other. Note, I did not go back to fix it and just trimmed myself, so I cannot comment on the service after the fact. I was just so bummed out that I cut my hair only to be disappointed by the outcome.

Booked a haircut online and was seated right on time. Im not particular about my haircut and ive been shaving my head the last two years with the whole covid-19 situation and wanting to save money so I wasnt very good at explaining what I had in mind. However Dora was able to give me exactly what I wanted. Love the haircut and experience especially for $20. I will be returning. P.S. I left my tip at the counter after a brain fart so I hope Dora got it.

I let my hair grow long and hadn’t been for a haircut in almost four years. I’m very particular when it come to my hair and facial and was a bit nervous to trust someone trim my hair and beard as well as shaping my beard. I requested a to be shaved with a straight razor. As I opened up to Sarah and expressed my concerns she immediately made me feel confident and comfortable. I know it’s just hair and facial, but it is a big deal. Sarah was awesome and did an amazing job. I left very happy and even fell asleep during my shave. I’ll definitely be going back.

I went to manes for a beard trim. When the lady asked me what I wanting trimmed, I tried to ask for a recommendation on what would look best.Because this is a mens grooming place i would think they would have a little knowledge of beard shapes or styles, but she didnt seem to know what to do.In the end, my beard was trimmed. It was even which is all i can ask for.

Girls here know how to give great haircuts. Pricing is comparable to most salon type joints, meaning its a little pricey. 20ish bucks not including tip for a basic cut. And it only goes up from there. They offer deluxe packages too, wash, cut, steam etc. Beard trims, colors, and hair chemical straighteners too. Definitely schedule an appointment by calling well before or going online. Although the online appointment scheduling service they use is a tad bit confusing, so Id say call ahead. They do take walk ins but if theyre booked, which they normally are, they wont be able to fit you in. All the ladies are friendly and most have built up a decent clientele. They offer complimentary waters, sodas. Or adult bevies too.

I have changed my rating from 2 stars to 3 stars. My most recent visit (number 4) was much improved. The biggest knock is the lack of consistency. The experience and the skill of the stylists varies significantly. If you have the time to find a stylist that matches your needs and your style, this is a great option. If you are just stopping by for a quick cut with a complete stranger, Id suggest you go elsewhere and save a few dollars.I have visited this location on 3 separate occasions. The first time there was an awful smell coming from the drain, the second time my hair was parted on the wrong side (I walked in with my hair styled), and the third time I asked for a cut and a beard trim and neither was satisfactory. I was hoping to spend my money closer to home, but I guess I will have to return to the Boardroom at the Quarry.

Excellent place to get anything from a basic cut to full service grooming, i.e. shaves, waxing, facials, ect. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Store is stocked with hair care and grooming supplies. This is not your typical franchise style salon/shop that pushes you in and out as quick as possible. Prices are comparable to surrounding shops in the area, but with much better results. 20.00 basic cut and goes up from there depending on added services. Best part is, they take appointments and stick to them. I would not get my hair cut anywhere else and would not hesitate to use any one of the employees for my hair care needs.
