Ive been to this place a few times and got pretty decent haircuts. I was early to my appointment by 15 minutes and there was 3 people sitting in the chairs and it took them at least 30 minutes before a Barber was available. My appointment started 15 minutes late and the Barber that cut my hair, her name was Lily. I knew within one minute that my haircut was not going to look good. She was moving very quickly and I saw her cut the hair above my ears to high. My total haircut took less than 10 minutes which was surprising since she spent so much longer with everyone else. When she was done, she asked me what I thought but she didnt even give me a mirror to look at the back of my head. After looking at it, she didnt taper it like I asked or give me a low fade all the way around. I ask her to fix the sides of my hair and she tried but said that she thought it looked good and didnt want to mess with it anymore. I think the lighting and there is deceiving so after I paid, I took a photo with my phone and saw how bad it looked. I was going to go back in ask somebody else to fix it but they already had 3 or 4 people waiting in line and I didnt want to make anybody else wait longer than they needed to so I went somewhere else to get it fixed. I will never go back to this place.

I never write reviews, but I have to with my experiences at this knockouts vineyard location. The staff are very friendly, professional, and courteous. I enjoy coming to this location, it is out of the way for me, but its definitely worth it!!! My stylist Michelle is awesome 👌!! She gives me a great haircut and service consistently every time. I definitely recommend giving this place a try, I know youll have a great positive experience!!!

My spouse has been coming here for a while and has had good experiences, so I brought my son to try it out. He started growing out his curly hair, and it has been really hard to find someone that trims it how he asks. (They often cut way too short, he loses the curls and has weird cowlicks, etc) Bri trimmed his hair exactly the way he wanted and did a fantastic job! Well definitely be coming back - thanks for the great service! If you have longer curly hair and need a cut without buzzers, Bri does great!

I went to Knockouts for the first time a couple months ago, and I must say, wow! The atmosphere was great in there, everyone seemed to be in a great mood, energetic, and just an overall fun energy. Lily did my hair, and i was amazed. Kinda felt like i was in an old school barber shop, hot towels on my face, trimmed and shaved my beard, gave me an entirely new hair style, even waxed my ears and nose. lol. I was truly impressed that they offered so many services. Im just so used to getting a quick hair cut a leaving a place. But here, its truly an experience and fully worth it. And Lily, well shes amazing, fascinating, and truly a joy to get to know.Thank You!

Schedule a appointment for my son, and I. It was for 1130 on a Sunday. We actually got there at the location at 1100 since we live 17 miles out from location and San Antonio traffic is unpredictable. We watched five people show up between 1100 and 1110, told my son lets go in and check in. I stopped at the door, when I seen 3 stylist with customers in their chairs already, and the ones that walked in taking up all 4 waiting chairs. I told my son we will walk in 10 min till 1130 to check in. So that is what we did. There was another person checking in when we walked in. I know our haircuts did not start or come close to 1130. I think my son started maybe 1145 and done by 1200, and high five my son and was in the chair about 1200. My son was a basic cut and the stylist rushing left all kinds of hair on his face. I told my son to go to the restroom to wash his face in front of the stylist, she did not bother to offer finishing getting hair off of his face. For myself I was suppose to get a haircut and a shampoo. Stylist asked me be for the cut if I was getting a shampoo, and right be for finishing my haircut. The haircut I asked for was a skin fade, skin halfway up on the sides. Other locations I have gone to use their trimmers and electric razors since they do not have a license to straight razor. I understand this location does straight razor for a extra 15. When asking the stylist about the electric razor she looked at me like I was slow in the brain housing group. I explained to her the other location uses a electric razor when I ask for a skin fade. She told me that is a extra 5. I did not see that on their price list and the other locations do not charge the extra 5. When she told me I was done after the conversation, I got up and thought I was going to get my shampoo, nope she walked me to the register to cash out. She asked me while in the middle of checking out did I want a shampoo. After starting our cuts late with what I am sure is walk-ins or late appointment arrivals, leaving hair on my sons face, being asked if I want a shampoo 3 times and still forgetting about it, and wanting to charge 5 dollars extra for what other locations include in the price I was ready to be done. The stylist name is Michelle. Reason for 2 stars and not a 0, is because the haircut is descent, and the other location had no appointments close to each other for my son and I.

I had a hair cut in this place on August 30, 2021 around 7:00 P.M. and the person doing the hair cut caused couple of small cuts with the machine on the back of my neck, which is a risk for bad disease/sickness. When I saw these cuts, I went to discuss the same with the place manager, but she wasnt there and the person did the cut took pictures of the cuts to show the manager, but the manager never called. Really concerning.

I got just a simple haircut today by a wonderful woman named Savanah, and I’ve been going to different stylist for over a year now trying to find one in San Antonio who could cut my hair the way I like it, and today I think my search is OVER….Savanah did such an amazing job balancing my hair on both sides, the cut looks so good !!! Thank you so much GIRL !!!My hair typically grows flat and down on one side and out and high on the other side, it makes no sense, but she was able to balance both sides of my hair so evenly !!! I love it !!! Thank you !!!

I get my haircut here every 2 weeks. I love this place. Everyone is very professional and gives exceptional service!! A great place to relax for 30 minutes or so. I always book appointments online and have never had to wait once I get there. Employees are very welcoming. Lily and Erica do a great job!

Been here a couple times. 15 minute wait. Better than those that came in behind me they were being told 45 to 60 minute wait. Sports playing on the TVs, cold drinks in the fridge. The one thing I dont like is always someone different cutting my hair, so always an adventure. Never know who I get or what it ends up looking like until they turn me around. Staff is friendly enough but never the same face. Erica did a great job. Hair cut was just what i needed. Looks great for just the lightweight cut. A bit high for just a cut compared to competitors though.

I go for my under cut designs and wash. Sarah is super creative with my designs and goes the extra mile with my wash. I’ve never had anyone place a warm towel over my face during a wash. Sarah has made that the new standard! Lol

Was skeptical the first time I went to Knockouts. I wanted a traditional barbershop that didnt cost $100 for haircut and beard trim. Well most of these women know what theyre doing unlike some other all female mens hairstyle shops. Ask for Jessica. She did great on my hair cut and beard trim and it didnt break the bank.

Been here a couple times. I usually make an appointment with Lily unless she is really busy then I just go with any of the other stylists. All stylists have been great every time I have gone in and they really pay attention to detail. Overall I have been very pleased with my haircut every time I have gone in. The spot has Sports playing on the TVs, cold beer in the fridge and the scalp massage with shampoo after a couple beers is pretty awesome. Overall the quality and value for what you are getting cannot be beat. I Will definitely be returning for my future haircuts.

Amazing experience at this location. I went with my two-year-old and six-year-old sons to get haircuts and from the moment we walked in we felt welcome. They were very sweet with my little boys and gave them the best haircuts they have ever had. They faded the haircuts really well and styled them very nicely. Definitely will be returning and recommending them to anyone. I considered going to the kids places but this was even better. Hairstylists were Lilly and Erica.

And Today I Saw Bri and She Did A Great job as well, again I showed up like an hour early this time, and got seated right away! Checked in as soon as I arrived, had one person waiting before me. Another two people came in after I did and were helped before me, even though they didn’t have appointments. Plenty of staff to handle the amount of customers. One stylist in particular decided to help the two customers that showed up (walk-ins, no appointments) after I did, even though I had waited for over an hour to be helped. Wasn’t going to wait another 20-30 minutes to just get skipped again. Won’t be returning to this location.

I had Erica as my stylist for my haircut and I would not recommend her. I asked her to trim my medium length hair just a bit and she ran with her own ideas. The length on the left side and the right side are uneven, layers do not blend at all and I am going to have to cut my hair short.

I was looking for a decent haircut place in town, and came across this place, the service was good; very friendly and homely. But the haircut job was MEDIOCRE to say the least. Came home fromt the haircut and realized the lady had left multiple long strands on my hair, mostly towards the back of my head. Called again next day to get it fixed, they told me to come in, i did, they fixed it. Got home and the lady still left 2 long strands towards the front of my head!! 2 haircuts later i still had unfinished areas. Came home and clipped the long hairs myself, very LAZY! in my experience.

My son wanted his sides cut and his top trimmed the tiniest bit. But when they finished the cut his hair just as much as his sides and he hated the cut. It was terrible and we will never go again.

Showed at my appointment time and was told to bear with them. Thay a stylist didnt show. That it would be a bit before they got to me. Were waiting outside, its 90 degrees, and theyve taken in 3 people since I showed up and then wanted to get grumpy when I followed up 45 minutes after appointmeny time with a sassy bear with us sir.Unacceptable. I understand that youre swamped first day open again, but I scheduled my appointment when I woke first thing, as soon as they knew they were a barber short they have an obligation regarding good customer service to inform me that Im practically considered a walk in now.I will never come back here. Diesel is down the street, and nothing but great customer service experiences there. If you need a haircut in Stone Oak, just go to Diesel. Shopping center on wilderness off and gathering oak. My anti-knockout campaign has just begun.

Like every male, I struggle to find a good stylist I can just go to and not think. I have definitely found that person here at knockouts! Christina is amazing, every cut I’ve gottem has been perfect. Clean lines, perfectly blended and stylish. I’m constantly getting compliments. Also, the whiskey Wednesday makes the experience even better

WORST HAIR CUT EVER!!! My son went there to get his haircut only to come home with a very bad cut. My 8yr old could have done a better job. What makes this worst is the assistant manager was the one that cut his hair.If I could rate them a 1/4 star that would be generous. BEWARE!!!!

No point In making an appointment. Checked in, sat and waited. After 47 minutes of waiting and seeing a walk in who entered 30 minutes after I did get attended right away, you get that race feeling. Don’t recommend this location.

I got faded there one time and I am never going back. I went to get a haircut not too long ago and I asked for a trim, needless to say it was the worst trim I have ever gotten. When I got home I spent at least an hour trying to figure out a way to make it look decent. I couldnt. TERRIBLE haircut for the extremely high price and I can not recommend this location to anyone unless they want to go bald.

Please dont waste your time here like it did. I normally dont leave reviews, but Im so irritated with their lack of customer service I feel obligated to let others know to stay away. First off, I walk in to check in and there are 2 ladies at the desk talking away. Not an issue, except they completely ignore me until they finish joking around with each other. I should have walked out then, but wanted to give this place a chance. I get checked in and told they would be with me shortly. I only see 1 other guy waiting so I think this wont take to long.... 45- 55 minutes later I still didnt have a hair cut. While waiting, 3 other guys walk in (regulars) and get seen right away. I ask how long it will be as I was here first and was told they made an appointment.I literally heard the call of one of the guys making his appointment while I was waiting in the lobby. Let me repeat, I was there checked in, some other guy calls in to make an appointment, after I had checked in, and gets seen before me. I walked out on the spot. Ill never go back. Way to many other places you can go to get the same or better haircut. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because you can get a beer while waiting.

While the haircuts that the people do here aren’t bad, they aren’t what you asked for. I asked for a trim with scissors only, and ended up getting 4 inches off of my hair. Not coming back

Courtney is great i would definitely recommend her for your hair.

Their stylist are always friendly and courteous. Fridays are usually busy so I prefer a weekday haircut to avoid waiting. They even have mixed drinks on Wednesdays if thats your preference. Parking is sometimes hectic with all the other shops in the strip mall.

I loved my cut so much, I had to leave my review on yelp as well as here. Being new to San Antonio, I was very apprehensive when it came to finding a new barber as I believe Im extremely peculiar with the style of cut I get (but what guy isnt?). After trying three different barbers and shops, I was lucky to stumble across Bri at Knockouts. Her skills and attention to detail gets me cleaned up just as good, if not, better compared to some shops back home. I highly recommend Bri and I believe some of the compliments I get walking around at The Pearl speak for itself. With a cut so clean, youll walk out feeling good and with newfound confidence.

Went to the Vineyard location yesterday and got taken care of by Iris. She did a phenomenal job and was very engaging in good conversation. Would definitely recommend and thank you again 😎.

First, the stylists are nice and do a good job. Some are hit or miss, but I had found the stylist that did my hair the way I like it & have been coming for quite some time now. Sadly, she is leaving, so today 3/28/14 was going to be my last haircut from her and move on to her recommendation; however, the manager was rude about my being 3 minutes late. She made me wait 10 minutes before lecturing me how late I was and told me that I would not be seen today. She argued with me when I was not even arguing, I accepted I was late and inquired about when? She had not even searched for an alternative appointment for me, nothing to offer me. Do they not want to keep my business? Apparently not, shed rather scold and be combative. She had 10 minutes to look up an alternative before approaching. Customers whether wrong or right it is her job to keep me coming back... To each their own... Needless to say, I will not be returning. Good luck Cindy, they are loosing a good one...

Best place to get a cut in the Alamo city

Great service every time I go- just a better experience for a chain then you will get with, say, sports clips. I have tried both but the professionalism and time taken on each customer seems to be a step above their competition.

Have been looking for someone who knows how to cut hair and finally found Alyssa. Ive been going to her for about 3 months now and she always remembers how I like my hair to be cut. Its also a plus when she enjoys her job and makes it an enjoyable and relaxing experience for you. Highly recommended.

TKO is a great place, you get quality hair cuts, staff is friendly and you can have a nice cold drink, while waiting. Love the service. Is a friendly environment, very relaxing.

The worst knockouts experience ever. I go to knockouts all over texas. The girl had no interest in wanting to work let alone providing basic customer service. I got the VIP package like always and I should of just walked out after after her greeting. After reading the reviews I would agree. If your a regular u probably get the VIP service, but if u treat new clients bad. Good luck on growing your business.

I did a walk in at about 530pm there were 4 people ahead of me and 3 girls working. I was not seen until about 710ish, that means each one of the guys before me took over 30 minutes. Paid for the knockout and barely got a shampoo before the haircut. I asked for a razor fade because that is what I normally get at their 151 location and the girl looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. She told me she didnt do razor fades and then went on to brag about her fading skills. She cut my hair in 5 minutes and bragged about how perfect the fade was cant see a single line! even though the left side of my head was not faded correctly. I addressed it and she attempted to correct it. I told her it was fine after her first attempt since I did not want her to mess it up further. She clearly did not know how to fade. She didnt show me the back of my head so when I got home I noticed it wasnt even faded at all. The worse part is I left her a good tip because I dont ever cheap people out of their tip, even though she definitely didnt deserve it.This is the worst fade I have ever gotten. If you need a fade I highly suggest you stay away from this place. Go to the 151 location! This place is horrible!!!!

Iris was great at the hair cut she did and customer service all around. Friendly environment all around as well, i would highly recommend Iris and the rest of the Knockouts staff there!

9/8/14 walked in with to customers getting hair cuts and no one waiting, one girl took my info. told me 15 min.Then another guy came in and sat down, a girl from the back that had stock in Avon and application trowels, had more rolls coming out of her shirt than a Pillsbury dough boy convention, walked up to the front, took his information and then told me it would be about a half hour.The first girl who initially took my info. said no hes first. She paid no mind, I told her she could go pound salt and I left.Sorry guys but this was the 151 location, its close to home but so is great clips, and their women arent fake.

Generally have good experiences at Knockouts. They have complimentary drinks and tvs playing sports at every station. Their stylists are talkative and attentive to how I get my haircut. Only thing is, it can be a little pricey.

30$ for a hair cut? I guess thats my fault for not asking. Not the friendliest of staff. If they ask if you want anything extra, make sure you ask if its extra.lolI cut my own hair.

The staff was friendly, she was even courteous enough to point out the cheapest haircut was $30 as it was my first time in. If you get your haircut once a month you might be alright, but those of us in professions that require them more frequently may want to consider taking your business elsewhere. I cannot speak to the quality of their work, but I highly doubt its worth $30.

Its called knockouts but every time I walk in here its not a knockout. Its an overweight and overpriced fee for a haircut. Nice idea but they dont deliver. Why pay extra for whats supposed to be a haircut with some visual stimulation when its always plumpers?
