Like so many of the other people reviewing here I have been looking for a place to go that is a traditional barber shop. Eddies feels that need. He is very qualified and experienced I received a very good quality hair cut, beard trim, and neck shave. As to the price, I was very satisfied. I have been other places that charge a lot more for the same services. The only thing missing at Eddies is one of those vibrating neck massage thingies. But I do have a wife. Since we are going to be moving to that area I will be using Eddies in the future. That is why I gave them 5 stars.

I love this barbershop! I was trying to find a good place to get my hair cut for a while. Ive tried everything from Sports Cuts to Diesel. I consistently felt like my haircuts were being rushed so they could get to the next customer. I hate waiting as much as the next person, but if Im going to be paying for someone to cut my hair, I expect them to take the time to make sure I like it (and Im not even a picky person! I just want it done right!). I felt like I was spending way too much money for people that didnt actually care how I felt about my cut. Eddies is a smaller shop, and you usually have to wait a good bit to get your hair cut, but they are professional and will make sure you like and receive the cut you want. Ive gone back ever since and have finally found a place that meets my expectations. If you want a good quality BARBER, then this is the place for you.

Down home barbershop run by a talented barber. Quick cut (time) compared to what Im used to, but doesnt change the quality of the haircut itself. Very affordable and my wife loves the haircut. Will be back again.

Eddie gave me the best haircut Ive had in 20 years! He listened to every bit of my requests, and he followed them to the letter. He was very kind, and moderately talkative. I usually dont talk much, so his skillset suited me perfectly. Oh, btw, the place is cash only.

First time there and they did not get the edges right. Left too much at the top and hedges too long. I could not tell because the hair was wet at the time. I have gone to hairstylist that for $6 do a better job. There was no shave at the end of the haircut. I will not return to that overpriced barbershop, well maybe is not a barbershop since they do not shave.

If you want a great old school barber cut Eddie is the one to see! My trips to San Antonio are planned around my hair length. When it gets close to needing a cut I plan a trip to see my daughter that lives here so I can get a haircut. Eddies is the best! Its worth the 6 hour drive!

The perfect small town barber treatment in the city. Very friendly, not hurried, and always good conversation. No credit cards, cash only...but very reasonably priced. $16 for a adult mans haircut.

This was the first barber I went to after moving to San Antonio. The shop is a classic barber shop with a three chair set up. When I got there there were two other customers in chairs and another one waiting. I was in and out in under 30 minutes with a great haircut at a great price. Its safe to say I will be visiting agin the next time I need a cut.
