My name is Ricky Hernandez. I am a musician, composer and producer who has done sessions at Zinc Studio. The most recent project I recorded was a rock opera I co-wrote and co-composed called Paradise City - A Rock & Roll Fable. We did an 8 song EP, there. Damian, the owner, engineer, bassist, guitarist, was our host and provided everything needed for the session. His knowledge of Pro Tools and the recording process is so vast that people go to him for answers for their own sessions. Everything we needed for the session was there, except the talent. That we had to provide. It is a full equipped studio with all modern technology and the expertise to use it. He spent quality time on the mixes to make sure I was happy with what we spoke about and what I was after. And was quick to remix things until they were what we were looking for. He is a producer and composer in his own right, as well. And as a musician, he understands the needs of a musician and does his best to make the artist feel comfortable and to create a positive environment for creativity.
