We rented The Gray through BaseCamper, and we absolutely loved it. We did a short trip down through Moab, the Valley of the Gods, and into New Mexico, and The Gray took care of us the whole way. All the amenities and equipment included with the vehicle are very high quality and designed to be an all-inclusive system. You can pretty much just pack a bag of clothes and food, and the vehicle has everything else. JP was a great host; he was in contact with us throughout the trip and was incredibly friendly and helpful. We absolutely will rent with BaseCamper again. Its worth all 5 stars and then some.

Spent a few days travelling in and out of canyons/trails in the Green River area. Many places would not have been accessible without these capable vehicles. The navigation systems are preloaded with points of interest if youd like to explore a detour - the owner did a great job of mapping routes. The offroading trail near Mollys Castle was unforgettable! Something I wouldnt have been able to experience otherwise. And truly, the only items you need to bring are food, clothes, and a sleeping bag. Everything else is included! Such an enjoyable and comfortable camping getaway. Will book again!

We had a great time traveling through Utah with this vehicle! It was equipped with everything we needed, and made us very self-sufficient: from sleeping comfortably to cooking easily and quickly, carrying all the food in the spacious fridge. We love camping at the primitive spots, and always had what we needed. When we had questions, JP always responded promptly. He’s an extremely nice guy, very helpful and friendly. Thanks!!!!

We took our family of 4 camping and BaseCamper was perfect for us. The vehicle was fully equipped with everything and more- all we needed to bring were clothes and food. We even took the vehicle off-roading and crawling, and it worked like a champ. Such a great and stress-free experience. We highly recommend renting from BaseCamper!

I cannot express just how great my experience was with JP and the vehicle I rented from him. JP is responsive and lovely to work with and has everything down to a science. We had all the gear we needed: stove, grill, camping chairs, portable toilet, water jug w/sprayer, and more. Oh, and the fridge! I don’t think I can ever camp without a fridge again! The roof tent was very easy to set up and take down and very comfortably fit me and my two daughters.Not only did we have all the gear we needed, JP helped us figure out an incredible itinerary. We loved every place he recommended! Having the capability to go off-road really opened up the possibilities of where we were able to go and to go to less crowded places, which I loved. The navigation system kept us on track and safe when we were off the grid. JP’s incredible set-upmade it possible for us to have an incredible trip and frankly changed the way I will do camping forever. I will definitely be renting from him again!

I have to say for not liking camping and not being a tent camper, this is the way to do it. A comfy bottomed tent on top of your car. I loved how everything is included in the rental. Really, all you need is clothes and food. That’s it! I did have a great time off roading and then ending up somewhere new and setting up camp. I actually want to go camping again, if we have this ready to go 4Runner. We had a great time!

Let me begin by saying neither my wife or I are committed campers. We don’t own the equipment, or know where to go, so it always seemed a little intimidating. After our experience with BaseCamper I will DEFINITELY be going again soon. All of the necessary equipment is provided for you, literally all of it. Cooking supplies, fire starting material, grill, lights, bedding, navigation, there is a fridge built in, I could go on. Point is it’s a no-brainer. Grab some food and clothes, you’re good to go. We took a route recommended by BaseCamper, and pre-programmed into the navigation provided. It took us through San Rafael Swell, I would’ve never found the amazing places we camped otherwise. Absolutely amazing. Best part: after you’re done you turn the vehicle and equipment and just hop back in your car. No headaches. This is my kind of camping. Thanks BaseCamper!

Took the basecamper to the west desert. Spent the weekend looking at the stars! Love the experience and convenience of all the gear being available to use! Cant wait for our next trip!!

Used BaseCamper for a couple campouts last summer and the Rovrr’s were awesome! All the gear we needed was supplied with the rental, including an electric cooler for food storage. The iKamper unit was roomy enough for the three of us. BaseCamper was quick to respond and even had a few suggestions on where to camp and activities to do. Highly recommend renting from BaseCamper!

Spent 4 solid days in Utahs backcountry between Price and Moab in Rovrr. What a solid experience! J.P. has put a lot of thought and effort into equipping this vehicle with everything one might need to get off the beaten path. If you want to get a different Utah experience, one that will have you smiling from ear to ear, this is a solid choice for you.
