After shipment was delivered late, it was severely damaged due to poor shipping practice. Brand new $400 hood, $190 shipping and they destroyed it and are now saying they will only pay out $1.50 even though the shipment was insured for the value amount. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Central Transport, and ignore all the fake positive reviews as they are not real. Theres a reason they make you pay with wire transfer, so you cant back charge when they destroy your shipment.

The absolute most unorganized, unresponsive company I have ever dealt with. Can not follow simple instructions to get deliveries scheduled and delivered on time. Have had multiple issues with multiple loads. They are sub-contracted through CH Robinson who is contracted through the vendor we purchase from and I have no control over using them or not. . . If I did, I would NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!If you have a choice of what trucking company you can use for LTL, I strongly suggest going with ANY OTHER COMPANY!

The absolute WORST company I have ever dealt with. Josh, who is supposedly the main terminal manager is the most arrogant, disrespectful, rude, and asinine individual I have ever dealt with. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. Unable to arrive during scheduled delivery SLOT 3 times and counting for the same load (Still have not received after 3 attempts). always come up with lame EXCUSES for why they missed yet they never contact you to let you know, you have to chase them down for any kind of update. Delivery instructions are on EVERY BOL, yet they have NEVER 1 time had a smooth delivery. Customer service is HORRIBLE.We dont have a choice of whom our loads are sub contracted out to, but I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT IF YOU EVER HAVE AN OPTION OF WHO TO USE FOR SHIPPING, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY!!!

If I could give less stars, I would. Scheduled delivery was 9/6, now it won’t be until 9/14. I can’t get ahold of anyone here to schedule a pick up. Their “29 minute or less” email system is garbage full of useless chat employees who don’t care one way or the other. After my 3PL and myself have exhausted all ways of solving this problem, we got to another dead end. This company is useless. Better off hiring a handcart company or team of horses.Don’t use this company. They will screw you with a smile and do nothing to rectify the mess they’ve made.The terminal manager called to handle the situation and was very professional and is working to solve the problem. Stand by for possible star increase.Josh made it happen. There is a disconnect between HQ and the warehouse. Warehouse seems to be killin it. The customer service department needs work

I only wish there was a way to rate with less than one star. Every exchange I had with the company was unprofessional and very much - the individual on the other end of the email or phone had an attitude that youll get your package when it comes. I was reminded multiple times that they are an estimate only company and they do not guarantee any shipping. During the transport of my package from Florida to Utah their online updates indicated the Package was moving from one city to another only to revert back saying that it actually never left the prior city. When I ask them how that would be possible they said it was miss scanned. Keep in mind this miss scanning had to have happened on multiple locations and gave absolutely zero confidence that they were treating this important 500 pound crate with any type of Fidelity. At the time of this post Im going on five days past due and still have not received the package and it is estimated to come yet in another three days. If you have a choice I would not pick this company and I would also stay away from worldwide express cool evidently is the company that was paid to ship this package.

I wish it were possible to rate this company 0 Stars because even half a Star would be too courteous. We ordered 1 pallet a month ago. According to their website, our shipment had arrived a week ago (which wouldve been a Thursday as Im writing this review). They posted online that the truck would leave Friday. It never showed. The contractor had been waiting on his pallet for a month. We told him it would arrive Friday because thats what the CT website said. So we had to tell him were really sorry, it should arrive Monday. Come Monday, we checked the site again...shipping out Tuesday. So we called them, and they said it wont arrive until the FOLLOWING Tuesday, a week later. At this point we were pretty frustrated, so we were able to talk them into shipping it Wednesday. Yes we had to talk then into shipping our already late product. By 11 o clock AM on Wednesday, we still hadnt seen the truck, and the contractor had cancelled 100 yards of concrete twice. So we called them about 6 or 7 times before FINALLY getting ahold of them to see if we were able to just run to salt lake, about 40 miles away to grab it ourselves. They said let me check then hung up. So we called back multiple times throughout the day AGAIN to try and figure something out, and finally, after 2 hours of consistent calling, someone answered. At this point we were pretty angry with the treatment wed received through this process, even mentioning the massive list of 1 star reviews they had online to which they replied ok, so? We asked what we needed to do to come get it ourselves, and he told us there were pallets in the way of OUR pallet, which means the truck had been sitting there for awhile already, and they were apparently unable to move the pallets. Completely unable to do anything, and then they hung up on us. We still havent heard anything back, and will be calling all of our big vendors (its quite a list of any of you idiots working at CT read this review) and will be telling them to never go through CT again for any reason. We were blown away by how rude the associates were and how absolutely horrible the service and wait times were. Never seen a business run like this before. Please save yourself the stress and poor treatment, and ship through someone else.

Consistently delayed, cannot get anything delivered within a reasonable timeframe. With a two day ship, I am still waiting for delivery at 10 days, and its been sitting in our city for over a week now.Even after contacting them and having them tell me they are marking it as a hot delivery, nothing moves. We ship MEDICAL SUPPLIES so the product is pretty important at this time.Removing them as a an option from our queue of shipping companies.

By far the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. Our shipment showed up to SLC last Tuesday. We have called each day and they have promised it would be delivered the next day. It is now 8 days later and our product is just sitting on their trucks. Called again today and they said it will be delivered in two days. Their customer service team hung up on me several times as well. I have no idea how these guys are in business. Whoever manages this location has no clue what they are doing. Central Transport should be shut down. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS!!!!

From a receivers standpoint this is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with delays in picking the item up from the shipper exceedingly long wait times for customer service and constant excuses as to why the packages are late or can I unload trailers etc. if I could give them a zero stars I would.Terrible from start to finish

Never seen a freight (LTL) company like this one, I know theyre a discounted rate option but their service is horrible. Getting quotes for 3 to 4 day deliveries, product shows up 10 to 12 days. Last two orders showed up damaged, working on freight claims now.The drivers are awesome, but the support is horrible.

Scheduled a delivery for a Friday that needed to get out and be at its destination (1 state over) on Monday. After not showing up they promised they would pick up on Monday. Still no show so they guaranteed Tuesday. I called them over 8 times though out the day and they kept promising it would be picked up within the hour. At 4:30 the driver pulls up in front of the building, sat there for 5 minutes, and then drove off. Never picked up the pallet. I called them back asking what happened and they said they would have the driver turn around and he would be back within 20 minutes. After 25 minutes the driver never showed up so I called back and they said the driver decided he wasnt going back so i would have to wait another day. After all of that I decided they were not reliable so I cancelled the pick up and told them I would schedule delivery with someone else. They confirmed the cancellation, but the next day a driver showed up to try and get the pallet. The most disorganized shipping company I have ever had to work with. I will never be scheduling a shipment with them again.

They were supposed to pick up 2 pallets 1 week ago and they are still sitting here. We call and verify pick up is scheduled every day yet no one ever shows up! I cant believe they run a business like this!

Absolutely amazed that these guys are still in business. BOL shows a SLC address . . . they sent a truck to TN 3 times. THREE times. After being called by myself and my receiving team and confirming the SLC address with them. Only reason I know who they are is I was forced to use them via Amazon partnered carrier

Great employees at this location. I had a motor will called from the dock. My customer said he couldnt have been happier. They guys down there had the motor out and ready to go. He said he was in and out of the terminal in 5-10 minutes. Thanks again for the great service.

Ill simply confirm that what was stated in the previous review is correct, Central Transport will not answer their phone. I have two phone numbers for them, one is disconnected and the other hangs up on you after 1 minutes of ringing. Booo! I only received 3 of 5 creates and the driver stated that was all he had so Ive been trying to located the remaining 2 creates without any success.I hope your experience with this company is better than mine.

I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with this company I would never use them for my business. I would never rely on them for anything to get a delivery or customer service or their problem-solving skills because they are all nonexistent. Extremely challenging and frustrating to work with and after my experience and getting online to look at the other reviews I am not a bit surprised to see the ratings of this company has stay away from them at all costs unless you want you or your clients upset

I would give them 0 zero stars if I could. They are always late! Always. Right now I am waiting for 4 pallets that are now 6 days late and the 4 pallets are sitting 60 miles away. The pallets got to their terminal early this morning and they will not put it on their trucks for delivery today even thought they are 6 days late. Once again, they are going to make me wait one more day. Who knows if I will even get it tomorrow. Dont use this company ever. They are awful. It is hard to believe a company like this who does not care about their customers manages to stay in business. This is the first time I have ever wrote a google review. Every word I have said is true. Dont use Central Transport. If you do, you will agree with me.

They called to schedule a delivery between 10-1pm, not only did they not even show up, they went days without even calling me. I had to call them 3 times to even get ahold of someone only to find out they hand off their deliveries to another company and blamed them. Then I found out they hadnt even handed off my delivery yet, it was still sitting at their warehouse days later.....all the while? not a single call. Im trying to run a business and these people do not care one bit. I will never use them again, and will tell everyone I can about this experience.

I needed to receive an item and they could not give me a clear explanation on why they couldnt send it to my address stupid. On top of that they dont like to answer their calls after being on hold 45 mins. or they hang up on you. Their customer service representatives suck and lack 100% on thier customer service, dont expect them to go the extra mile in helping you.Wost company ever I dont know how it exists. I had to rate it a ONE star but If I could I would rate it a (NO DAMN STAR!!!!).

Avoid this company period, unless you enjoy waiting day after day after day for a shipment that is just sitting on the dock because they deliver shipments when they are ready too
