Have used this Jiffy Lube location for a year and a half now and I’ve a great experience every time! Extremely friendly staff, fair pricing, and I never feel they’re trying to get me to spend more. Will be back many times!

I have been here an hour in a 1/2 and they have not even started on my transmission fluid exchange. I guess that they dont do transmission filters anymore. I wish Tyson had just told me that instead of lying and telling me that my transmission filter was a lifetime filter and never needed changing. It is not. Not according to my manufacturer owners manual. It is as I had said and should have been changed.Now I have $200 worth of new trans fluid and still dont have a properly serviced transmission in the heat of towing season.I am very disappointed. Tyson could have also been more honest in his use of my time as well. When I called he told me it was a 30 minute wait, it was 2 hours. I called to avoid just that and as the result of the long time the of the service, I had to turn down a job that would have paid for the fluid change.My fault, I should have read the reviews first. I do not recommend this location.Update, 5pm. General manager emailed me and called me to discuss my displeasure Cody offered to redo the work and to change the filters as should have been done, only chargeing me the difference that would have been if the filters I had been done the 1st time . Cody set an appointment with me right after opening so that he will be able to get me in-and-out I feel that This has been resolved in a professional manner and has restored my faith in that Jiffy Lube location. Everyone is allowed to make mistakes we are human it is how those mistakes are resolved that matters and Cody has resolved this mistake in a satisfactory manner.Update, I went in for my 8am appointment and Cody was ready for me. Got me right in and started the work immediately. This service is no easy task. The skid plate has to come off, the transfer case support has to come off, the pan dropped which always spills everywhere, then the filters changed. They had it all back together and filled with ATF4 and me back on the road in a couple of hours.Cody stepped up to the plate and hit it out of the park. He did everything he said he would and then some. He restored my faith in Jiffy Lube and that location.

Theyre always very friendly and on top of everything! I was getting an oil change, they didnt ask me what we were going with this time, I usually go with the full synthetic, so I wasnt too worried about it, but be mindful. I drive a smart car, so that already puts some struggle into the services, the air filters arent readily available, and the wipers arent either. Luckily the oil filter is available! They were really great about it and let me know that they werent able to do the air filters or wipers because of this.(Thanks Mercedes for closing the parts off)Aside from those little things, always a fast trip, super friendly mechanics, and great work!

Alex was amazing! Literally the best experience I’ve had with any mechanic work. He was so friendly, very informative, and helped me make sure they did everything they needed to make my car run smoothly. Alex went above and beyond, which he does every time I come to this location. Best jiffylube in Salt Lake, no joke.

Wow! I’ve used Jiffy Lube for service before and it generally takes twice as long! This was my first experience at this location and I was very impressed! I will definitely be returning for any future service my car needs!

Ive been to a bunch of different Jiffy Lube locations. This one has to be the most courteous and friendly location Ive ever been to. All of the staff that I interacted with was fantastic. And it was a really busy day--when most people would be tired and cranky. Not these people. It was a pleasure doing business here.

I was in and out very quickly. I had my cars oil changed, the tires rotated and I renewed the registration. The employees were all super friendly and helpful. I actually really like this location for service on my vehicle.

Tyson and his team were not only extremely professional and knowledgeable, they were also patient and kind. Truly listening to the issues I was having, diagnosed then resolved the issue with efficiency. As someone who knows absolutely nothing about cars, I do worry about overpaying when I bring my car into a shop. Tyson was earnest, the prices were very reasonable, and he did not upsell me on unnecessary items. I will be returning to Tyson for all of my car needs in the future. Thank you!

Easy place to get a quick oil change in SLC. Part of a national chain. You get exactly what you expect, the employees are polite and professional.

Went in for an oil change and to ask about my alternator. Oil change was quick and complete. They checked my alternator for me, with no issues. Advised me about issues and did not try to push to get those issues fixed. (Did myself). Only small issue was when they checked my air filter they left the 2 clips that are in the back, unclipped. Other than that, would recommend and will use again, Ill just double check any clips afterwards.

Tyson the manager was exceptional. They were short staffed but had me on my way inside of the timeframe that was promised. The crew was meticulous and servicing my vehicle and I would definitely come here again.

Alex and his team did a really great job! I havent used their service before and I was impressed by how professional they were and how well they all work together as a team. I was able to sit in my car and check my emails on my phone and it took about 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

We pulled in and they had cars everywhere. But they came right up told us specials and got us in line we left the car and went to eat they called us within 30 mins to let us know details. They didnt have the tires we needed but we still got our old change. They forgot to check brakes as asked but they were so busy I understood. Good place good time and good experience and workers

I took my car into this Jiffy Lube this week. The man who came out to talk to me was very rude, would not listen to me and I really think has a real problem with woman. Alex is his name. My daughter had a run in with him a couple of months ago too. He yelled at her about not having her oil changed for a year.. (my daughter was ill and didnt drive her car for a year.) She was very upset and said she tried to tell him and he continued to talk over her and not listen. She told me not to take my car there but I did. Big mistake. I heard him talk to other woman there the same way. Telling a co worker today about what happened she said the same thing happened to her there too. This guy needs a lesson on customer service and to treat woman with respect or maybe all customers. My husband used to bring his fleet cars there and said he quit because of the way they treated people at this Jiffy Lube. Im done with this company I will pay extra and have the dealer work on my car and be treated with RESPECT.

The manager was very friendly. They seemed short staffed because it took longer than usual but they made sure to keep me updated as to the wait time. The manager here was great and will keep me coming back.

These guys give the best customer service. I was very impressed. I wish all places were as good as these guys. They were very polite. Thorough with all the info about my car. And and we’re not pushy about getting more done to my car. A+!!!!!

I cant say enough great things about Cody and his incredible staff. Above and beyond cant even describe these guys. They have helped me and my SUV out of more jams than I can discuss in this box. Trust me when I say they are the best maintenance and small repair shop in Utah. And they are FAST!!!

For this reason alone, I would have accepted whatever vehicle services he recommended, lol. Aside from that, he was extremely helpful, as I am on a road trip & was open to suggestions to keep my Honda running strong. They were efficient, professional & dog friendly- bonus.Thanks guys. I dont know that I have ever really had a good experience at Jiffy Lube. They tend to nickel and dime you for everything. So I try to avoid them.Today I tried to go in to do my emissions test to renew my registration so I could just have it done. There were four bays and five technicians working but they were only using two bays. They told me I would need to wait for twenty minutes. I was fine with that. But thirty minutes later, the car in front of me was still there and I overheard the techs talking with the driver that they were about to actually get the oil back in. So I just left. I wasnt going to wait another 20 minutes for them to finish.I went there to try and get something done in a Jiffy. I guess they couldnt do that.

Jiffy Lube was very professional, did all services needed at a fair price and on time.

I was very impressed with the staff on duty during my visit. They found that I was actually.missing my cabin filter and had to leave the site to pick up a replacement. The filter was changed out quickly; shortly after I got my oil changed. The manager on duty suggested that I go online to find a good coupon for a discount BEFORE the sale was finalized. I was in and out much faster than I expected and felt 100% cared for. Thank you guys!

Patrick helped me with replacing my busted tail light. He was quick and kind. I got in an accident so my tail light was shattered and my bumper is all smushed in on one side, but he ensured that my tail light was secured and checked that everything was working. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, and Patrick was keeping me in the loop the entire time. Very appreciative of the customer service I received from him. It went above and beyond the already great customer service I typically receive at Jiffy Lube.

This was an extremely negative experience. Alex, an employee there with very poor anger management. Physically intimidated, called names, and yelled at me when I found they had started a service on my car I did not ask for.No person should have to be concerned for safety when going to a Jiffy Lube. No person should be yelled at, called names, and treated with such a deep level of disrespect when choosing to visit a Jiffy Lube location.Im also concerned that this seemingly unstable individual has my address and personal information. The culture is at this location is deeply troubling.I have never had such an aggressive customer service experience anywhere. Attached is a screenshot from the video I took of the incident where Alex entered my space, physically intimidating me. Ironically, this location was implementing COVID distancing policies at the time.

Best Jiffy Lube location EVER!!! Just got an oil change and every single employee was so nice and fantastic communicators.

I came to Jiffy Lube to get my car registered to skip the long line at the DMV. I knew I would be paying extra for the emissions and the decals to register the vehicle, but my time is much more valuable so that was fine. They did the emissions and came back and told me I would have to finish the registration at the DMV because they had been out of 21 decals for weeks. Knowing that I wanted to get this all done it one place, they waited until after they performed the service to tell me so they could get the business. Not only did I overpay for emissions, but they made it so I would have to go waste hours at the DMV. It was dishonest. Not just crooks, but extremely incosiderate.

This is not the standard jiffy lube. Most jiffys Ive gone to gave me exactly the service I went for and no more. This isnt a bad thing, however Cody (the management) and his highly effective efficient team gave me an experience above and beyond. It was like being in a movie from the 1950s where everything is picture perfect down to the friendly smiles on every face! Maybe a little exaggeration, but they certainly went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied. If youre going to need an oil change this is THE place to go.

In and out in 20ish min! Stopped by on a mid-day Saturday expecting a lengthy service but was in and out in record time for a oil change. This is THE best experience Ive had at a Jiffy Lube. Alex, Dallein, and the team were efficient, friendly, and professional, all meanwhile keeping a social distance environment. Thanks & keep up the good work guys.

Fast service, friendly staff. Since Covid, you now stay in your car, which is something that should be implemented permanently, to be honest. That way you see what they are doing, and if they do it right. On a side note, they also gave me a nice discount which is highly appreciated.

This was my first time at this Jiffy Lube. Staff was cordial and nice. Service was very quick (I came here for an emission test). The only reason Im giving it 4 star instead of 5 is because I think $39 for an emission is rather steep. There are places that do it for around $25.

I want to start this by saying I used to hate Jiffy Lube after a different location screwed me six ways from Sunday, but that opinion changed much for the better with this location.Ive gone here the last couple months for some routine oil checks, but recently I was thinking of getting new tires, seeing as these people have done by me well so far I figured Id get a quote from them.These guys not only filled up my tires free of charge, they apologized for the wait, when I wasnt even intending on buying anything! I like that. It shows they care.Tyson had gotten me a very speedy quote on a new set of tires but actually suggested that since the stock they could get for my tires were limited (odd tire size so its not surprising) he actually gave me some really good advice on how to get tires with a warranty for a good price! I want to make this crystal clear. This man had every opportunity to try and upsell me on a set of tires with no warranty and honestly because of how well theyve done by me I would have considered it, BUT HE DIDNT! He didnt care about making a quick buck, he cared about making a customer happy! In the days of seedy shops upselling you seven different bells and whistles that you dont need, its a breath of fresh air to see staff that ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER.Ill continue going to this location often, and I wanted to get the word out on how much I recommend this location.

This is my go-to location when Im in SLC, but my most recent visit was superb. I was intimidated to go in because of COVID procedures changing the process Im familiar with, but they were very clear and communicative each step of the way. They were very professional and transparent about what services they offered and the pricing.

I have been to many Jiffy Lubes, but I have found that this one is my favorite. They are always polite, and even when its busy they work efficiently to get their customers taken care of and out in good time. I dont ever feel like they are upselling me for services I dont need.

I was not offered lug nut replacements for free, this situation was not resolved. I have two badly stripped lug nuts and no accountability at this location. I was not offered new lug nuts when I told the boss I could not trust him for withholding information. Not all jiffys are the same but I don’t trust this location. I was not told about this serious safety concern when I got my estimate. The boss at this location should not rely on his under paid employees to relay life or death information after he does an estimate and walks away, they did not. I removed the tires to check for myself to make sure that the estimate was honest. I was told I Could check the cameras but that he never took off the tire. I was not offered lug nut replacements for free, this situation was not resolved. I will not be doing the work here.

Very disappointed. I will never go to Jiffy Lube ever again. This is the first time in my life I’ve ever gone online to write a review because it was so bad. After changing my oil, they told me my car was leaking oil. My car is still under warranty at the dealership so I took it to them and they told me that wherever I got my oil changed previously, they did not do a good job. Jiffy Lune would not refund me for this and I feel like they should have. DO NOT GO HERE.

I went here at the end of June for an oil change. About a month and a half later I went to check my oil and realized they never put the cap back on my oil. I was on a trip and called them about 2 weeks later. Tyson was completely unprofessional. He was rude and condescending, attacking me for not calling sooner (even though its actually rare that I check my oil so soon after having it changed.) He acted like I was scamming them. All I was expecting was an apology and maybe a discount on my next oil change. Nothing bad ended up happening, but it certainly could have if I had run out of oil. I mostly just wanted them to know. I never actually asked him for anything and instead of receiving an apology was met with accusations and belittlement. He finally agreed to look into it, but I never heard from him again. I have been using Jiffy Lube for over a decade but I think its time to take my business elsewhere.

I have come in more than once and these guys are life savers. Always take care of me and provide accurate info. Highly appreciative of them!

Was told to stay in my truck while having the oil changed, which made it nice to not have to get out and social distance. All the employees wore face coverings/masks. Service was completed in about 10 - 15 minutes which was really great! Of course it probably helped that I was the first one there. I commend them for a job well done.

It was absolutely slammed and they were shorthanded. Some waiting, a bit of cross communication on what I was in need of, but they were fast, got it sorted, and got me on my way.

Inspection and oil change was done quickly and efficiently I truly appreciate the service I get from this store.

I had to use the restroom really bad and I stopped into this place and they forced me to buy a $13 lightbulb(the cheapest thing they offered) in order to use it!!!??? I did it so I could avoid what was only seconds away. This has to be the worst customer service policy ever! With Covid19 I was worried no restaurants were open to the public.

I am not unaware of how Jiffy Lube operates since I used to work at a different location, but the technician went through they entire list of services that could be done on the vehicle even after telling him I only wanted an oil changed and didnt have time for anything else. The two things that I did accept was a replacement bulb in my 3rd brake light and a quote for new tires. I already knew the tires were low but the technician claimed they were bald. (Not true) He also claimed that the windshield had a crack and recommended it be replaced. This was super confusing since I know there isnt even a rock chip on my windshield. This caused me to wonder if we were even going over the correct vehicle on the computer. He claimed he hadnt seen it, but was just told it was there. (Confirmed no crack at all)The waiting room at this location is an absolute joke. Might as well just make it standing room only. It is so tiny its uncomfortable with just a few people inside. It was snowing, so waiting outside was just not an option.Overall I was there about 40 minutes which is not bad at all, but Jiffy Lube could really do better.

We went in this last Sunday afternoon (12-6-20 around 2:30ish) to the 4th south and 7th east location. I had called first to verify that they could give me the new sticker for my license plate along with doing my emissions and inspections, he kindly said they could for just $10.00 more! (Well worth it instead of taking an extra trip to the DMV). We were just around the corner at Jamba juice, we pulled right into an open bay. And they got right to work. They had us in and out in less than 15 min. And all of the guys working that afternoon all smiled and said hello and ACKNOWLEDGED YOU.

I got there about 15 minutes before closing. I expected them too say I would need to come back. Nope! they got me in. Did the oil change and let me know why my check engine light was on and an estimate to fix the problem. They cleaned my foggy headlights. They didnt rush through the job like I expected. They were extremely helpful answering my questions. Javid, Tyson, & Daileth were AWESOME. definitly will go back.700 E 400 South location rocks!Great service!

Quick service, clean facility, excellent work, and the staff are professional and ALWAYS seem to really enjoy what theyre doing. At my latest visit, I had a great convo with their technician Tyson while he was prepping my car diagnostic receipts. Seriously, I cant recommend this location strongly enough!

The good: They managed to successfully perform a routine oil change in not an unreasonable timeline, but don’t confuse what I’m saying - they’re not fast for a professional shop.The bad: Upselling out the wazoo, cavalier “shop-talk” galore, and a concerning lack of education and experience concerning even the simplest procedures. Nothing new, but seriously, have some class, and do your job better.The ugly: Awful, awful customer service. Bordering on openly insulting, this is probably the worst experience I’ve had at any comparable shop. This place is a joke, and you should all be embarrassed.
