Absolutely love this place. Pedro is an excellent instructor no matter your skill level. He remembers each student and what they need. Even the warm ups are designed to teach you skills and make it incredibly fun.I love martial arts and tried several schools and this is by far best I have found.

Pedro is amazing!! I came in to check it out and he told me everyone that enters learns at least one thing before leaving and then he gave me a free short lesson. Since then Pedro and I have come to know each other and he is a stand up guy. If you are looking for outstanding leadership and jiu jitsu training I would highly recommend Rio Academy.

If I lived in SLC this is where I would be training. I was in town on business and decided to stop in. Professor Pedro was very welcoming from the beginning, and I really dug the authentic Brazilian vibe. I learned some new techniques and Pedro gave me some advice for my jiu jitsu progression. Recommend it if you live in SLC or are just temporarily in town.

Shayne Wall: Great fun enviorment try.My opinion: I think this is a nice play pedro the instructor is really kind I enjoy being here in the bigger kids class It gives kids a oppurtunity to actually do something with their lives and it gives adults the opurtunity to learn how to deffend them selves.
