Very convenient location. Full service post office with all your mailing needs and passport services. Parking is ample. Schedule is convenient. I have used this post office multiple times. I will be back as I need to get a passport for my son. I highly recommend.

As other people have said, its a black hole for packages and the employees are completely unwilling to help you find or do anything to get your mail.The United States Postal Service is an absolute sham and needs to be completely dissolved and rebuilt from the basement floor up. I will never get anything delivered again if it means getting it from USPS, as its an absolute gamble if you will get what you ordered.Fortunately, they have much more competent competitors. The corporate leviathan Amazon raised starting wages and are surprisingly much easier to work with. When Blue Origin goes to Mars, Ill be going with just to spite USPS.

Renewed two passports here. Unlike other passport locations (SL County building) you can make an appointment over the phone. Appointment are between 8 - 11 PM. The process was simple. The guy helping us had excellent customer service skills. Didnt get his name but would recommend coming here if you want to be treated great and in/out in 15 minutes.

Abysmal service.Asked to redeliver a package, they forgot.Went to the office to inquire, they lost it.All of this took hours out of my day because I was redirected to go to a location on the other side of town (completely different address then indicated on the pink slip), then when I arrived there they told me to go to the distribution warehouse.Arrived and clerk was late.Incredibly frustrating.

I ordered from a company and this was the first stop for it. Seems like the point of no return or a Twilight Zone USPS facility. I have never in my life seen a sorting facility that is incapable of getting mail to move after a week. Strike that... after a day. It’s the job of USPS to deliver. I had a package go through Texas during the last storm, but Utah can’t move this in 37 degree temps with no snow. I’ve also read reviews about employees stealing packages and mail. Some might say they wouldn’t risk their jobs, but we all know it happens.

Let me put it this way: I paid $30 for a PO Box and instead drive 15 extra mins to an Amazon locker just to avoid this place.In just 1 month, I’ve witnessed some of the worst customer service towards myself and other patrons that I’ve experienced in my life.I can’t just blame the front staff though. They operate in a way that indicates how unfulfilled upper management is in life, and I hope it changes by someone more qualified swooping their positions.

Why would a package with a Utah destination take 3 days to go from LA to SLC then 2 days to go to Denver? Why would it sit in Denver for 2 days before it left for its next destination? Why would delivery of 10 May disappear from tracking and why would it be replaced with a new event showing it left Denver a 2nd time? Why after it left Denver a 2nd hasnt tracking updated to show a new delivery date displayed in almost 9 hours?

This location provides a lot of services including passports. Employees are mostly always kind and efficient. However - the HARD ROCK music that is always playing in the lobby is extremely annoying as you’re waiting in line. Hence the 3-star rating.

This is to the driver who delivered to Rosecrest in Herriman today. Ive tracked the office where she drove from and know that is where I can complain, since its their driver. Ive been waiting for a very important package to arrive today and I saw that the truck was in front of the mailboxes. I went out there to see if she was done, so I can get my package. She was not, she didnt even start. She was scrolling through her phone and wasting time. I asked her about my package and she told me that she has a lot to go through and it will take an hour. Then she instantly went back to her phone. This lady is being paid to deliver packages on time, not scrolling through her phone. This is irresponsible and unprofessional.

Beware of putting voters ballots or anything important into the Salt Lake post office system--they are holding things for 5 or 6 days before sending them on to their destinations. Take completed voting ballots directly to ballot drop boxes at many libraries--call election office for drop box locations or look up drop box locations on line. If you mail your ballot the post office will slow it down so that it wont get counted.

The employees at the Bountiful Post Office are always pleasant and helpful. They work hard to help each person ship their items the best way possible. I have lived in Bountiful for more than 20 years and have never had a problem of any significance. The building is clean and modern. The kiosk is easy to use, and you can purchase shipping materials on the premises. Thank you Bountiful Post Office for many years of superior service!

I love this post office and their late pickup times - I commonly drive 30 minutes just to take advantage of them!I have never experienced bad service here. Although I dont always interact with the employees, every time I have they have been friendly and helpful.

Rude older white male employee at 21st south passport station in SLC who seemed more intent on teaching me a lesson than providing a reasonable level of helpfulness because I was 5 minutes early for my appointment instead of the recommended ten. He ignored me and the closed his office during my appointment slot. When he came back for the next appt., he argued that I hadn’t been standing outside his window the whole time filling out paperwork. I understand and respect that appt schedules and customer service roles are tough but he purposely ignored me and was extremely rude when I arrived (still early) for my appointment. If I needed to reschedule, fine. We didn’t need to play his little “teaching moment” game and waste mine and his precious adult time.

The people here are friendly, fast and full of fun. Rarely is this post office crowded due to their efficient work. I loved the day that the Mr. Rogers stamps came out and they celebrated by dressing up as Mr. McFeely. I drive out of the way to do business here!

I’ve never met such rude employees!!! Be prepared to be discriminated against! They tell each and every customer something different.Went in w/o a mask because of medical reasons (which legally I’m allowed to not disclose why.) I was told I was required to wear one for service but, 4 other people inside didn’t have one and we’re helped. The guy who told me this wasn’t even wearing his over his nose the correct way! If your going to tell one to do something you better tell them all.

I’ve done my fair share of mailing packages and this post office has some of the fastest service in the valley. They move people out of the way that aren’t ready and them come back up. I haven’t had the wait like the other post offices in the valley. I just wish it could be slightly more automated, but that’s on USPS not this specific branch.

Passport employee (lady with white hair, she didn’t give me her name) need to be more respectful when someone need help or just asking a question politely. When people do something the first time; they will absolutely ask questions or need help, especially with government paperwork. If you help others; you will make there day better and you will feel good too, just try it..

Website said it opened at 9 am. Its 9.32 still not open. The website says open. Door sign 10 am. Lame! And the automated system on the phone is a joke. No way to find out what happened to my letter. No way to talk with a person on the phone! You need at least a live chat or text option!

Accidentally dropped off a FedEx package here at USPS. Yes, my bad, but after a week there has been no sign of it.I went in to the office asking for help, and was told to contact FedEx. I told them that FedEx has no tracking information on it, and they usually scan packages the moment they receive them. The guy helping me couldnt comprehend this, and told me again, to contact FedEx.I finally got somewhere with another person, who, after some serious discussion explaining why I am concerned, said he would go back and check the box where they put these items. Of course, he found nothing.I have heard that both USPS and FedEx receive mail for the other, and they generally have an agreement to deliver packages to each other. I suspect either sheer incompetence at this location, or a shifty employee stole my package. A week, especially during the holiday season, is WAY to long for this.

The package was supposed to be delivered on Saturday by 8pm. Waited all day and nothing. Today is Sunday, USPS does not deliver on Sundays.My package has been sitting at the local USPS Regional Facility for 2 days now, only 10 miles away from my house. It takes USPS 3 full days to bring a package from the local office. It only took 2 days to be delivered from Minnesota.My past experiences have been very similar. USPS package delivery is always late and unreliable. In 2017 I received total of 4 packaged that were not addressed to me. USPS is truly the worst!

Horrible customer service. It was my turn in line. I had an obviously big package and the lady says, “I was hoping one of the guys would get this one.” Who would say that? I, as a paying customer didn’t want to feel obligated. The whole time the tone of this individual was unwelcoming and I felt belittled. If you work at a place where you handle packages, you are excepting the fact that you deal with all sizes of packages. I had a bad day already with another establishments customer service and this person just made my day even worse. Went to Fed Ex and they had way better customer service!

Avoid this location for your passport. One of the ladies working there was extremely nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the lady who helped me was rude, disrespectful and pushed her own political views!?!? I left irritated and confused. Laughed at my name, and couldnt refrian herself from belittling everyone around her.The process was lengthy but that was expected considering it is a walk in. The payment process was easy. Overall, really disappointed with that individual. Otherwise it would have been a relatively nice experience and I would have rated it 5 stars.

I paid for first class 1-3 day shipping. I dont understand why its been sitting at this post office for 4 days. My package is now 8 days late, and since they dont deliver Sundays and Monday is a holiday, thats another 2 days. If I wanted my package delivered in 10 days I wouldnt have paid for 3 day shipping. This is the fourth time this has happened, and it will be the last.

Ordered a package on a Saturday. Within a few hours I had a tracking number. It was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday 11/7 by 8 pm. I had gotten a notification via text that the package arrived in Salt Lake City at 6 pm. So I already knew I wouldn’t be that day. Which was fine what ever. So then at 12 am I get a notification that my package is now in New Mexico. Then I get another, at 4am that it’s leaving nm on its way back to slc. At the end of the day I check and get ANOTHER change that at 8:32pm it has just been scanned out of their system and was on it’s was. Long story longer I must have the item by Saturday 11/10 early in the morning and it will likely not even be here till Tuesday because of Veterans Day.... this is why I ordered the damn thing a week in advance. It was only coming from Colorado Springs...... the USPS is the more inefficient thing every created ran by a bunch of knuckle dragging inbreds.

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I arrived at the store well before closing but had to simply write the address on my package 2 minutes after 6, and was repeatedly yelled at and threatened to be locked in the store if I did not hurry and send my packages immediately. I understand the employees want to leave, but that is not the way to approach the situation.

Have driven here to ship something 3 different days at 3 different times in the day, nobody is ever working. Or I should say there is usually one employee working while another sticks his head out from the back looking at the long line of customers. This last time I waited 20 min and still didnt get through the line. And the employee had a sign on front that said he was in training.

I was worried about having to go in for my passport renewal because of all the horrible reviews. I was thankfully surprise! I came in 2 hours before they closed on a Thursday and was only there for about 45 min. Most of that time was filling out the paper work and the man that helped me was super sweet, even went as far as printing out all my copies I needed because mine were wrong.

+ It might be too late now for Christmas gifts, but if given the option for shipping, choose UPS, not USPS.+ 3 different people independently said they witnessed a USPS postman in Salt Lake City throw a package on the ground.+ USPS central makes it impossible to report it. (Ive tried repeatedly.)+ United States Postal Service is dying. They brought it on themselves with bad management and terrible customer relations.

I sent a package (2 day delivery) on the 19th of February 2019 from Upstate NY to Clearfield UT--thats 2,173 miles, and the package arrived at this facility on the 22nd of February 2019 and thats pretty fast!. But once it arrived here (((30 MILES AWAY FROM THE FINAL DESTINATION))) its still here 6 days later--this is the 28th. How long will it be here?? Who knows. LOL Update: This item was finally delivered the next day!

We went to get a passports on Sat. May 19th and arrived at 10:05, the hours for this branch are 10-1 We walked in and the woman working said rudely, “ I can’t take anymore customers, I’m done for the day so you’ll have to come back on Monday!” We asked why and she said that if we wanted a passport we “should have been there at 8:00!” Huh? But it opens at 10:00! This is so weird we couldn’t quite wrap our heads around it! You are open from 10-1 but this woman decided she was done at 10:05?!This branch needs to improve customer service and either get more employees to handle the amount of traffic they have on Sat or post that you are open at 8:00 if that is when you actually open! Disaster!

Id been waiting 8 days for a Priority Mail package to arrive, and today (the morning of December 23), it was marked undeliverable to the address. Im only in Salt Lake for the week and am leaving on the 25th, so if I wasnt able to intercept the package in Salt Lake (which was supposed to be my husbands Christmas gift), I knew it would be a long process before I could track it down again. After someone at the national USPS call center changed my package status from Undeliverable to Pick Up, I was fortunate enough to reach Tracy at this local SLC post office. He personally tracked down my package on the truck, called me back to let me know hed found it, and held onto it for me until I could get to the post office to pick it up.This time of year can be so stressful, and I had braced myself to be on calls all day with USPS to sort this out. My husband and I arent able to be with family this year and will be spending the holidays in a hotel, so it was very important to me to have this gift for my husband. Tracy truly saved the day and I cant express how much I appreciate his kindness and patience, and how much it meant that he would take the time and make the effort to track down my package. Its not often that people are willing to go out of their way like that. Plus, he was wearing an amazing kelly green Christmas suit with a red top hat. I think he may be my guardian angel this Christmas. Thank you, Tracy!
