Jessica helped show me around since it was my first time & told me about all the different options. Will definitely be back to wash my carpets and quilts in their heavy duty washers. It’s relaxing and clean, & made my Saturday morning feel extra productive.

This is THE CLEANEST laundry mat I’ve ever been to! Holly is awesome! 10/10 times there has been an attendant present just cleaning away. Everything can be operated by card (and coin) and all of the machines are state of the art and huge. I highly recommend!

Clean High Tech ULTRA Landry!I hadn’t been here for year but thus place is nothing like it looks on the outside, it is most likely the best self-serve laundromat in downtown Salt Lake. The recent total renovation of this business has brought in the latest tech-in-laundry service you can find, while allowing customers to utilized traditional methods of payment (coins) as well. There is a central pay station accepting cards, cash or touch less payments (Google Pay only at this point) where after loading machine, and selection option, it starts the cycle. Also an app, “The Laundry Boss” can be used with QR code on machine. All machine appear new, well maintained, and clean (lint traps are user accessible - the 1st commercial type I’ve experienced. There is plenty of on site parking behind business with new easy to use xtra large carts and ample folding areas. Modern furniture and marble counters set this one apart.The few Criticisms I have are as follows: 1) They do not have the hours posted on the front of the business. It’s unclear weather you can add additional coins to dryers to increase time or need to Pay for a entire cycle which on the large dryers is $4.50. Paying extra for the extra hot and extra spin cycle may not be worth it as water was warm at best and cycle appears with not extra time to complete. Dryers may default with curious codes that can be cleared by open dryer and lint trap then shutting and restarting but the timer does not stop so if you don’t catch it loss of dry time is the result and you can loose all money spent on it.

Nicest laundromat I’ve ever been in! Washing sleeping bags (end of camping season) and their machine selection is incredible. Doing both bags in one machine which is handling them with ease. I’ll never go anywhere else when doing bulky stuff!

We come in here all the time and we love how clean and nice it is, the machines are always clean and dryer lint racks are always cleaned. the staff is always so helpful when there is an issue. Jessica was super sweet and helped us when there was an issue with the kiosk. :)

Been coming here for a few months and just love it, even on busy days there are machines available because they ate so well taken care of and clean. They hold a larger capacity so they end up being the same price as the last laundromat i used. Also much more parking even when busy! That is huge for me, i have toddlers who tag along and always struggled to find parking at the Washboard laundromat due to the residents needing the street spots. Im regularly recieving $5 discounts just for the frequency of my visits. They always have bonuses 🧡 Jessica helped me today and was so nice to chat with 😊

I recently moved to Salt Lake City strictly due to medical reasons for the next year. I am facing a couple of firsts: single mom now an empty-nester, leaving rurals, living in an apartment, facing medical treatment, and! NO WASHER OR DRYER IN MY HOME, APARTMENT FOR FIRST TIME IN FIFTY YEARS!! The building I live in has machines on lower floor for the community. They are horrible, gross, and dirty! Especially when one considers rent I am paying!! I was down and depressed. Laundry at my home in my personal space has always been a kind of meditation for me, I enjoyed it. I searched high and low for a decent laundromat. Being a senior with a compromised immune system amidst Covid it was a priority to find a place where I felt safe, that was clean beyond the surface. I began to think I would never do another load of laundry again for a year!! I even bought new clothes to avoid using dirty scuzzy public laundromats. Being old school I googled as last resort: cleanest laundromat in Salt Lake City. I read great reviews about Otown. I decided to give it a try. Immediately I was greeted by Jessica who could tell I was a newbie. She directed me, helped explain how things work. All of a sudden the clouds parted, the sun was brighter, and I could see a future where I felt safe, clean doing my laundry!! Then I found out they do laundry for you during the week for 1.50 a pound! This will be handy when I am not physically up to it. I have found my laundry home! FYI I BY ACCIDENT AT FIRST PUT FOUR STARS WHEN I MEANT FIVE STARS!! GUYS AND GIRLS THIS PLACE HAS INTERNET ALSO. I DID NOT THINK THEY DID AS I DID NOT SEE IT ADVERTISED LIKE OTHER PLACES BUT OTOWN HAS INTERNET. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT LIVE FURTHER SOUTH YOU ARE REALLY LUCKY CUZ THEY JUST BEGAN A COMPLETE REMODEL BRAND NEW WHEN OPENED BACK UP. I came in today to get change and buy a pack of dryer sheets and was told by a lady working there that shell let me do it this once? Wth does that mean? Im tired of being treated like Im a bum when I spend money at your laundromat. Some of us dont have a car to get our laundry done there, so we need to get change since the stores arent giving any. I wasnt treated like this last time I went in to get change. Makes me glad I dont do laundry there.

Clean, Updated machines and decor, and lots of seating, but it is the most expensive laundromat I have been to in this area, and it doesn’t even have a bathroom or AC… very disappointed.The card machine doesn’t work either, and I really dislike not being able to set the dryers for as long as you would like.

We are on a cross country road trip in SLC for just 3 days so our only time here, but very impressed with this laundromat! Brand new machines, can use credit card or app to pay. Super clean! Ample parking in back. Super sweet and helpful lady named Merda attending it and cleaning non-stop.

My husband and I came in for the first time today. Very nice laundromat, but the attendant was incredibly rude. We put our laundry in the dryer. I put 10 quarters in. Pushed the desired heat. Nothing. Pushed another heat selection. Nothing. My husband contacted the attendant and she literally had a melt down-basically accusing us of not putting coins in. She would not listen to anything I had to say. We put another 10 quarters in and it worked. She smiled and in a snide manner said, “See!” And walked off. Also, the entire time she did not wear her mask. So much for caring about customers. Will NEVER EVER come into this laundromat again.

This laundromat is right down the street from me and I was amazed at how clean it is! It is so well kept and Merda is a wonderful employee. She walked me through the entire experience and made my laundry Sunday all the brighter!

Very clean place... you can use debit/credit cards on select machines, love this feature. Very convenient. Im visiting from out of state for business and thus location is very convenient to my hotel. Clothes got very clean. Bad part was soda machine was out of order but that is very minor, all washers and dryers worked as fsr ss i could tell.

I have found this to be a great place to do laundry. I want to say what a fantastic employee you have in Merda who works on Saturday. Merda is so helpful and willing to help in any way she can. She always has a smile and makes you feel so welcomed. I will be telling all my feiends to do their laundry here because of her it is worth the drive . Merda is definitely a great example of a. Its slightly cleaner, thats it. Ive been coming here for years, and wont be coming back. They removed all card-accepting dryers (main reason most people came), and half the current dryers dont work. Good Luck asking an attendant because they no longer have one on site. (Great For Safety, too!) Boo, o-town. Going somewhere else from now on and will tell all my friends the same.

We came here to do our laundry last week and Merda was working, she was so helpful with the laundry boss machine and showed us how to use it as we had never used it before. She was very friendly and kind and we had enjoyed our conversation with her so much that we decided to come back tonight and do more laundry. She is a great asset to O Town Laundry and we were very happy that she was here again tonight. She works very hard to make sure all the customers get the help they ask for. Merda definitely deserves a big fat raise. We just love her. This is the cleanest laundry mat. Peggy was amazing. Not only did she keep an immaculate space but her customer service was over the top. She helped me with everything, answered my questions, and had a great attitude.

Was closed for a while for a boiler replacement. O-town is now open again for business, but in the process of a major renovation. They said there will be a month shutdown in the near future. I asked for them to update their Facebook page as soon as they know of changes so everyone can plan around closures and re-openings. They made it up to me today with 3 free wash and dry loads for having to go without anywhere to wash a couple weeks ago. I look forward to this old town laundromat redo being completed and back to 100%. A good honest small business.

I like this place. Unfortunately its turned into a homeless shelter. As of 5 minutes ago there was a group that took over one side of the place and they are doing zero laundry. I get that people have stuff going on but its a business and it needs to be kept safe and available for paying customers. Dont wanna takey daughter there, doesnt feel safe

This laundromat used to have machines with a credit card reader, which was super convenient. It was the main reason we came here. However, the dryers with card readers have been replaced. We ran to grab cash, but all the change machines are out of order, so now we have to haul our wet laundry to a different laundromat all together. It was a convenient place to do laundry for a while, but this was definitely not a convenient experience.

I’ve been coming to this location since February, and while it hasn’t been the best laundromat I’ve been to, this last month has been the worst.I understand that they are under new ownership, but the place is trashed in the early mornings. The last guy was great and was there when they opened.Also, I came in today (Monday) at 8:30 and the doors are locked and the place looks like a tornado went through it.Looks like I’ll be going elsewhere, at least until the new company is done with their transformation. (Which they should just close the shop and do quicker.

Not a huge fan of the changes. Yes, new machines were installed. Yes, theyre set at different prices. However, you are now forced to purchase a full 40min on the dryers instead of paying as you go. This is an encumbrance as sometimes I only need an extra 6-12 min not a full extra 40min. This is also more expensive, as before the full $2.25 would get you 54 min, now youre only receiving 40min. I have been coming here for 6 yrs and I will no longer be returning.

I like this coin Laundry! Its big, and has tons of washers and dryers, and its clean! Plus they just put in brand new dryers and they work great!

SLC served as a stop over during a month long camping trip, and this place was recommended. It was clean, the staff was helpful, and there was free parking in the back, which helped the repacking of equipment while we did clothes. The machines did a great job. Thank you for having a great place to do laundry during our camping trip.

Clean and spacious laundromat with different coin exchange machines, an ATM, plenty of chairs to wait at, and a crown burger next door. The washing and drying machines themselves are great! Dryers range between a capacity of 30 and 50 lbs and its 25c for 6 minutes of drying for the 30lb which is reason considering how well it dries and how many clothes you can fit in there. 36 minutes of drying was enough for roughly 3 loads of laundry with 5 towels and a ton of really thick jeans. They dried completely!

Great new machines, new ownership is really turning it around, Peggy the manager really runs a tight ship, she’s super helpful and friendly and keeps the place spic and span. O town is going to continue to be my favorite place to do my least favorite thing, laundry 🧺 haha.

Used to have slightly higher prices but was ok because they accepted cards. Dryers are now way more expensive and no longer accept cards. I’m having to unload my wash to drive to a different laundromat to dry because all 3 quarters machines are out of order...came here weekly for over a year and will not come back.

A very responsible company and owner. The machine ate our coins and it was after 7 pm there was none on duty. We called the emergency number on the door, the owner answered and sent us the refund in mail next day. polite service and responsible owner.Thumbs up.

I didnt know Otown had a location in salt lake. This isnt anything like their ogden locations, its dumpy compared to those, but I saw a notice they posted that they just purchased this location and plan to do a major update. If its anything like their other locations slc will freaking love it. They have the most amazing things to offer just wait and see.

What can I say! Love the big O! Weber and davis county have a bunch of these otown stores. Ill tell ya what, when they make this run of the mill laundromat similar to there stores up north the other laundromats in town will be hurting. They freaking cool dudes and you will like it. Dont know when and how. I cant wait cause this place is just run of mill and like all the rest. Otown shakes it up big time. Only problem is otown charges like ALOT MORE comped to others, but this store isnt bad! YET?

Facility is clean and attended by friendly employees available for help. No waiting for machines, they have enough to satisfy at least 8 customers at a time. Convenient location and reasonable prices; parking, coin exchangemachines, drop-off service, and laundry supplies available for purchase if you run out or forgot yours at home.

They used to have driers that took digital tap payment with 7 minute, $0.25 increments. The new ones are quarters only, $2.25 for 45 minutes. How on earth is this an improvement? What century are you from?
