I purchased a hot tub in 2017 and everything has been amazing since! We had an issue created by a contractor doing work on our house and it caused our hot tub to stop working. Kay came out to help get things working again and he has to be one of the kindest and most helpful people Ive ever met. He made my stress disappear. What a great ambassador for the company. I highly recommend the team at Dolphin and, should you ever need a repair, Kay is as good as they come!

Very satisfied so far with the help and customer service I have received from Karen at Bull Frog Spas to get the right set up for me and my specific need for hydrotherapy in a small spa. She worked hard to find a way for everything to come together in a reasonable time. Thank you to the show room staff for answering questions and assisting me in and out of a model spa. Cant wait to get it all installed... More to come.

Dolphin claims that they build the best, and fix the rest.Weve hired another pool company to come fix Dolphins mess.Dolphin charges a premium price, which is fine with us as we expect premium results and are willing to pay for it. Unfortunately, in our experience Dolphin charges a premium price and does not follow through in delivering even mediocre results.Our project was a roughly $20K remodel, which did not go well.Issues:Project management -- there was effectively no project management, nor basic coordination for our project across the various silos of crews involved. Does Dolphin do anything in-house or is it all subs?Quality -- my ask of Dolphin at the start of this remodel was to address whatever needed to be done to get it all in perfect working order. No focus on penny pinching; all focus on premium work -- a thorough assessment of what needed to be done. There are some aspects of this that went well. What didnt go well is a longer list. The most egregious and painful issue is the complete lack of follow through on the pool cover system. The entire pool cover system (motor, track, pulleys, cover, etc) was removed from the pool due to other work that was done for the remodel. My request, which I even took the time to discuss directly with the crew that came out to do the work was to do a thorough assessment and let me know if anything (motor, track, pulleys, rope, etc) needed to be replaced. The crew (like Dolphin management) told me this would be done. The answer I was given was that nothing needed to be replaced. That was good news that I accepted. Let me provide some detail on this one:First -- Reinstallation of the track and pool cover was a mess. Ive attached a pictures of how the pool cover track was not even attached for the last two feet or so of the pool cover system. The result was, of course, that the pool cover would not close or open properly. The Dolphin crew found it acceptable and called it finished. Another example of the shoddy work is the new aluminum cover lid that we purchased, which was not flush as the crew had not bothered to notch the lid so that the separate sections were all flush or level. The result was we had 1/2 to 1 inch differences across the four sections of aluminum lid. The invoice was sent and payment requested. I sent a detailed email with pictures listing the numerous issues including this one of work that was not done well. I was assured that the issues would all be resolved.Second -- the assessment by the Dolphin hired crew about the pool cover system that nothing needing to be replaced? It was completely wrong. Even after properly attaching the track the pool cover did not work properly -- sometimes stopped completely and wouldnt move and would never close all the way back into the new cement pool cover box. Finally, after more emails, phone calls and visits in person to Dolphin the best technician was sent out and I was assured he would not leave until everything was resolved. The conclusion of this best technician? There are numerous components of the pool cover system that all need to be replaced. Having an experienced tech on site in March to make that assessment is what I expect with a premium company. It would have saved me $$$$ in labor costs and Id have a functional, open pool right now. The pool cover no longer works at all (it did, before DoFinally, Dolphin does not stand behind their work and cannot be trusted to follow through on their commitments. I was assured that my issues would be resolved. They have not been. I now need to pay, once again, for the cover system to be removed and this time properly serviced.Dolphins reply to my last email listing the continued open set of issues that are unresolved? There was no reply whatsoever after weeks.Me? Ive moved on. Id rather hire another pool company to come repair the awful results of Dolphins work than continue to work with a company that takes my money, but doesnt follow through on their commitments or even deliver basic quality work.

If you are looking for a company for a new pool or pool repair, I would look elsewhere. I reached out to Dolphin Pool approx the middle of July 2020. I left a message and a few days later got a call back to schedule a time to look at the repairs needed, felt like a good start. They came, took some measurements and said they would need to send someone else up to get their opinion on a potential issue, once again, seemed promising. The second person came up, and took a look. Before they left they said we should see a bid within a few days. That was over 3 weeks ago…. Ive called, texted and left messages. No response. I’ve mad it clear on multiple occasions that I would just like to know if they can or cannot do the task, or if they are to busy and I should look elsewhere. I know with COVID and other external factors things are a little crazy right now, but don’t make promises or statements that you or your company can’t live up to. Word of mouth is either the best thing or the worse thing for a company, especially during periods when things aren’t great, I can full heartedly say, I would NOT recommend this company at ALL!

WORST EMPLOYEES EVER. One of the workers tried to run me off the road in a clearly printed “dolphin pool and spa” company truck and went so far as to disturb the flow of traffic just to make a point and endanger my life and those of my kids. If you’re going to have road rage at least have the brain to do it when you’re in your personal car. I will be telling everyone who wants to listen how trash this company is.

Initially the experience of buying our new decked out Bullfrog A8 was fantastic. They showed us the available features and let us pick what we wanted in our spa. Almost 14k later and little feelings of regret we walked out to wait our two weeks.The delivery day came and we were super excited to get the water into the spa and get the chemicals spinning. Once we hit the right water levels and a nice 101 degrees we hopped in and LOVED the features and power of the spa. The relaxation was short lived when we started smelling something off, like when electronics get too hot kind of heat. The jets cut off completely but the head unit was saying everything was fine.I checked the error log for the unit and it was claiming that one of the pumps was too hot. Made sense to me so I shut it down and we let it cool down for the night.The next night we decided to try again to the same result. We called up Dolphin and they pointed us to Bullfrog support. Bullfrog sent out a tech that day and replaced both pumps. We were stoked that maybe we could finally enjoy our investment now that we had new pumps. Sadly we were disappointed by the same issue again.After another call to Bullfrog and waiting a week this time for a technician - they concluded the same thing and replaced the pumps again. Now Im not a hot tub tech but that doesnt seem very logical. Both technicians checked the wiring for surges and lack of power but everything was reading fine, but thats all they checked. No diagnostics on the electronics themselves or anything.We decided to give up at this point and called Dolphin to come pick it up as we werent satisfied paying as much as a car for something that doesnt work as its supposed to.Heres where Dolphin gets a 1 star and I recommend people avoid them or dont put up with their sales representatives - especially if a similar experience happens to you. When we called for a refund they claimed we owed them 1200 dollars, not for a restocking fee, but for Wells Fargo Financial. They claimed they have to pay them. We called BS so we called up Wells Fargo and explained the situation to which their representative laughed and said absolutely not - they have a case for issues explicitly like this.Tldr; Dolphin tried to screw us out of money for a faulty product and failed miserably. Bullfrog has nice spas, but Id buy one elsewhere and hopefully get some better diagnostic reps.

Joel is very knowledgeable and efficient. When he finishes I know everything is working as it should and never have to do a callback. Dolphin pools installed our indoor pool in 1994 and we have worked with them ever since for maintenance. I am very happy with Dolphin Pools and their service techs.

I purchased my Bullfrog Spa at Dolphin about 5 years ago. The Hot tub has been a wonderful investment. It is the most efficient one on the market so running it has been inexpensive. I haven’t had any problems with our Hot Tub and it has given us many hours of pleasure and therapy. I highly recommend the Bullfrog Spa and Dolphin as well.

From purchase to installation, our experience with Dolphin Pools & Spas was fantastic. Each person in the company provided great customer service. During the purchasing process the salesperson explained all of our options and did not pressure us to buy more than we wanted or could afford. When the spa was built and ready for delivery, they delivered on the date promised, and communicated regularly so we knew exactly what time they would arrive. The delivery people were friendly, helpful, and made sure we understood how to operate the spa. The showroom staff took the time to explain how to use the chemicals and monitor the water. I would recommend this company to all.

I purchased it from DolphinPools back in Jan 1998 and use it almost every day. They have helped me with supplies and the few parts I’ve needed to keep it running. I use Dolphin Pools& Spas for all my hot tub requirements, including chemicals and mechanicals. My Bullfrog Spa is 15 years old and still like new. Dolphin has replaced the motor, heater, and cover over the years. They were always prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. I will need another cover this summer and Dolphin will sell and install it. I am a heavy user, almost every night, and am amazed it has lasted this long. Thank you Dolphin.

We bought a Bullfrog Spa and Nicole is absolutely fabulous to work with. She followed through with each and every detail and made sure we got the spa we wanted and in the time we wanted it. I cannot say enough good things about her. I researched the spas and decided Bullfrog was the way to go. These spas are built locally and are very energy efficient. Dolphin Spa and particularly Nicole get a high 5 from me!! I went back to Dolphin after our spa was installed and Drew took the time to educate us about the various settings and learning the menu options. He was excellent. He was not rushed and very patient and positive. It made such a difference! He suggested bringing a sample of our hot tub water to them if I needed a more detailed analysis and was very willing to do what he could to make a good experience, He is an excellent teacher. Another high five to him. About the spa- we love love it. the water doesnt get that chlorine smell and helps me with my daily pain form chemo. the spa is good looking and more importantly very therapeutic.I like being able to change jet packs and it seat in it at night with the lights on. The light are all different colors and settings, A nice feature.

I bought a hot tub from these guys last year- it was a really great experience. All the sales people are knowledgeable but not pushy. They gave me a very fair price. The best part was they were able to deliver the hot tub into a tricky place in my back yard with a crane! I would definitely do business with these guys again.

Dolphin pools is the best place to get a pool installed from. They do it right the first time and you wont be correcting problems down the road. They are also always very happy and pleasant to work with. Any problems that do arise, you can always get ahold of someone on their team. They are there to help on the phone or they will get someone out to your house almost immediately. I researched several companies before choosing Dolphin and am extremely grateful I chose them. I have been nothing but happy with my experience with them and my pool is now 9 years old! Thanks Dolphin !

I have always been happy with the staff and help I have gotten when I visit the store and will continue to frequent the store. However, service is a totally different issue. I have made over a dozen phone calls to the service department with no call backs. I have been put through to the service department voicemail via the front desk operator; the front desk operators have left notes with the department; I have left voicemails on their personal cell phones that specifically identify them as the service manager/department. On one occasion I was able to actually speak with someone when the cell phone was answered (in February) and was told that he would find a time in April to work on my pool, but nothing ever happened after that: no call backs. I have called multiple times since April. Wound up going with another local pool company.

Went to buy my usual 2lb container of chlorine and they tried charging me twice what I paid the month before. I used to pay $10.13 and now it was $20.00 for the same exact size. I asked them why it was more and I was told prices went up 5 percent. Actually when you do the math prices went up 100 percent for no reason within a month. Do yourself a favor and do what I did. I went to Sam’s club and bought a 40lb container for $80. That’s $2 a lb instead of what Dolphin charges for $10 a lb. Essentially if you buy anything at Dolphin expect to pay five times more. I won’t set foot in this place again

Dolphin Pools treat you like family. We had a thermestat on our heater go out. We were expecting guests to come and swim. I called Zach in service, all the service guys were busy... So Zach went, got the part, brought it to my house and fixed it! We were up and running! Zach goes above and beyond his call of duty! He keeps service running smoothly. You can depend on him. The employees at Dolphin pools are very personable and knowledgable. As a newer pool owner to an existing dolphin pool, they have been very helpful in educating me on our pool that they built for the previous homeowner about 16 years ago. They are quick to respond to any questions I have and the greatest resource to any new or existing pool owner is the free water testing they offer. Not only do they keep record of the pool samples I bring in, but they also take time to educate me so that I can learn and understand how to keep our pool chemicals balanced. Ive only been to one other pool store in SLC, but they did not even come close to having the amount of quality products in stock to choose from and likewise, the employees were no where close to being as helpful as they are at Dolphin. I highly recommend their service and products and definitely worth the drive from Davis county!

Our experience was great. Came in & met with Drew. Showroom was under construction, but he did his best to explain the BullFrog Spa that we were interested in. He followed up with a bid and revised when we changed our mind about the style. He was great to respond to emails & made the experience very easy. We were concerned about space. Drew called Shon who came out & looked at our space. He was great to work with, too!
