I’ve been going to Devan, the owner, since 2015. Without fail, every-time he is able to keep me on point. I have brought tons of my friends to him and they all say the same thing! Seriously the best barber around. Gotta hit them up!

Worst experience at a barber EVER. For $35 I had a distracted barber who was in the phone for most of the haircut, sorting out a personal issues. Because of this he cut most of my hair with one hand, occasionally nipping my ears with the clippers (no blood, but still sore). After getting off the phone, he asked how I was doing only to realize he was actually asking a friend on the phone. Finally he got off the phone, asked me how short I wanted the top, and pointed out that a rat was eating garbage outside. Will never go back and have told everyone I know to take their business elsewhere.

If you’re anything like me, you don’t just let just any barber out there touch your hair. I’ve been coming to Devan for about 2 years now & the guy has always given me the best cuts i’ve ever had since day 1.Super knowledgeable about all types of styles, not just a standard razor fade. I’ve had my hair faded up, tapered, grown out, and I can honestly say he does an incredible job at all types. And if you don’t know what you want, he’ll just make you look good 🤷🏻‍♂️ Can’t recommend Devan enough!

Sadly I did not have a great experience here. I felt like my barber was distracted by making jokes and bragging about his sexual prowess, and I came home to find the cut uneven on the neck. Considering the price point, I would suggest going somewhere else.

I have been getting my hair cut with Michael at the Bureau for over a year. I followed him there from his prior location and it was a good decision. The good old days of enjoying a barbershop environment is brought back by this place! Wonderful location, great barbers and even better banter make visiting The Bureau Barber Shop a truly fun experience. Witty barbers that know their stuff and can keep you entertained with the current trends and topics combined with exceptional hair cutting skills has resulted in myself, my 3 sons and son-in-law all frequenting this place for our haircuts.

Been visiting Devon and friends for about a year after being referred by a friend. I have never received so many compliments on a haircut, and that includes 3 months after the fact. Heads up this is no Great Clips, dont expect a $15 cut this is more but lasts longer. They can do what youd like or they will make suggestions.

I have a pretty tight schedule, so I started going to The Bureau because I could get in and out on my lunch break. Now I won’t go anywhere else if I can help it! Every cut I’ve gotten there so far has been one of the best I’ve had. I usually schedule an appointment online, so I know there won’t be a wait if I’m in a hurry. It’s just a cool atmosphere too. Everyone is really friendly, and it’s a fun place to spend your lunch. I’ve only gone to Devan because he does such a great job, but everyone I see coming out of The Bureau looks great!

Go to Carson! He is one of the best there. Always makes me look good, which some days is a pretty hard task.

By far the best haircut Ive had in Salt Lake City. Dave was fantastic. I walked in during lunch, the wait wasnt long. Dave took his time, got to know what I wanted and then free handed the whole cut! Very cool! These guys and gals care about their craft and their clients. I left feeling like Id made new friends. Make sure you say hi to their super sweet black lab! Im consistently impressed with his intuition when I dont know exactly what style Im looking for. I leave the shop looking and feeling better every single time. I was greeted by all 6 barbers at the same time, and was offered a complimentary beverage. I got my haircut by Devin, and I am very impressed. These guys even do the hot towel treatment. I’d describe the bureau as the best barbershop in SLC! The location is awesome, and the shop has an awesome, clean modern design. You will get a full treatment, and a great experience. Devan is hands down the best, just look at all the recommendations he has. He has memorized my exact cut and never makes a mistake. It speaks further volumes that every single friend I’ve had come down to the Bureau, has stopped going to their old regular!

Great haircut. I cant remember the name of the barber who but my hair but he did a fantastic job. The prices were fair; not too expensive. The only reason why I knocked a star off was because it was pretty dirty inside. I get that its a barber shop and there is going to be hair everywhere but the baseboards were in rough shape and the floors looked pretty bad. Otherwise, great place.

Best haircut I ever had. Hitch to my haircut beard and straight razor it was freaking awesome. Pain free in fact opposite of pain free it actually felt good to get shave with a straight razor. Literally unsurpassed customer service. I had an appointment scheduled with Devan and he was finishing up a haircut as I walked in, but another barber Dave went ahead and greeted me and started chatting with me while I waited. They both offered me a drink from the fridge and chatted with me until Devan was ready.Its so refreshing to have a bunch of people that care so much about what they do and are one hundred percent passionate about it. The whole time I was getting my haircut they were talking about how excited they were to be opening their new shop and their plans in the future. Theyve already gained a huge following and have attracted a lot of local news stations and newspapers that have popped in to run stories on them all within being open under two months. Very cool place. Reminds me of what is imagine old new York, or Boston barber shops would be like. Welcoming atmosphere, good music, and occasional friendly banter between the barbers and the customers. Hot towel, straight razor cleanup make this place a great rating place for unruly hair.

Dave Broderick is my go-to barber at the Bureau. He cuts my thick head of hair like a champ. He’s also super-personable, and always on schedule. The other barbers are always super friendly and down to earth as well.

Walked in the shop after having a couple bad experiences in the downtown area with bad haircuts, overpricing or a combination of the both and was NOT disappointed. I was greeted quickly by the couple of barbers working at the end of their Saturday and there was less than a 15 minute wait to get cut. Dalton took care of me and gave me the best cut Ive had since I moved away from Miami along with good service and conversation. Ill definitely be back.

I went in today to get my haircut. While I was sitting down the entire shop cat called women on the street using explicit language. I do not find that professional nor acceptable for anyone. I walked before my appointment started. Steer clear.

These guys are great! They know exactly what they are doing and make sure you leave with something you can be proud of. They are easy to talk to and take the time to understand what you want.

They get one star for the price point, but having to go home and shave again to fix my cut ruined my experience. I came to get lined up not to have a bigger problem to fix. If the staff was nicer I would have felt more comfortable but my entire experience was awkward. As I continue to shop for a place to call my barber, this is at the bottom of my list

This is not your old mans barber shop. If you want a place where men can be men and get your hair cut by motorcycle driving marines that know what theyre doing, look no further. Theyre one building from main street and can cut your hair even if youre wearing a suit. Just remember to call ahead and schedule an appointment.

Great vibe in the shop. Hip downtown barbershop. Get a REAL haircut from a trained barber, not some fluffy cut from someone that watched a YouTube tutorial and opened a beauty shop. The cost is just a little more than what you might pay at other shops, but the cut is a lot better. Well worth the difference if you dont want to look like you got your haircut by Quasimodo. The Schedulicity appointment scheduling is my jam. Makes it so easy to get a time with the barber you like best, or one that just fits your schedule. The owner Devan makes sure the shop is clean, looks nice, and there is always some good music and conversations going on. This is my go-to shop in the SLC area. #hottowel

Worst haircut I have ever gotten. You get better service at fantastic sams. Got a haircut at lunch, went back to work, went in the rest room and had hair all over me, in my ears, etc. barber also missed my neck. Went back to get my neck cleaned up, barber butchered my neck. Didn’t realize it until my co worker told me my neck was bleeding all over my shirt. Embarrassing!!! Will never go there again!
