They don’t know how to refund me on a different in price. They charged my card $25.16 when they price they posted is $23.14. I talked to store manager and customer service they both said don’t know how to change prices and don’t know how to refund me on a different. So pretty much I didn’t get a refund. Bummer! Store #411 purchased 07/24/21 so be aware of your purchasing at restaurant depot on every items and on every single days.

My experience is always been pretty good there sometimes theyre really busy and overwhelmed that just has to do with staffing but overall the people were nice and always helpful.

Im not sure if I like this place. Some of the prices are awesome. They have pretty much everything a person needs to run a restaurant. It is just the people who shop here seem to be ruder than other places I shop. The carts are designed to carry cases of things so they are huge. People will literally kick your cart out of the way claiming to be in a hurry. I dont get being in a hurry when you could leave 5 or 10 minutes early. Also people dont return the carts for whatever reason is they are scattered across the parking lot and could seriously dent ones car.Bottom line: Good deals could be had with a business license if you are willing to put up with some BS too.

Its a warehouse for businesses only but worth the registration and the trip for bulk buying especially if there are no chicken wings or fish in the regular stores.

The girl at the front desk was very rude! If your going to limit the number of people going in the store to two people it’s limiting the people that can go in that have kids. Why control the total number of people going in the store to the same number of people that come out of the store? It’s all good. I get there is a pandemic going on. So I guess I’ll take my business elsewhere until this store can figure out a better way of doing business and a better way of treating their customers.

We need a new restaurant depot in Jacksonville, laid out better and managed better. Everyone hates going to RD but its a necessary evil. Rude patrons, narrow aisles, impossible checkout area. Just bad.

I like going to this store but EVERYTIME I come here GiGi(this is what I’ve been told her name is) is so rude. It never fails. She really needs to focus on her customer device skills. I also heard someone saying the same thing when they were leaving her line. Hopefully they work with her on this.

Restaurant Depot is always out of something. When I ask for help, no one seems to know or they say its not their department. Then why are you in this department? If you want to maintain mask requirements at least have all your workers wearing them & corretly too. Theres no purpose in enforcing it if majority of the people have their mask hanging past their nose. The virus spreads from the nose... Theres probably only 3 helpful & kind workers out of the whole staff. Youd think, seeing so many workers in each aisle, someone would help. Instead, they try to avoid eye contact or turn the opposite direction. I dont expect much from a wholesale store like this but at least some customer service would be nice.

Prices are great.However lanes are always long. Impossible to get help. But like I said, the prices are great.

Wosrt place on the face of the planet to shop. The workers there act as if you are bothering them when you ask a question. The management team is rude and very inefficient. The people driving fork lifts drive way too fast and come real close to causing major lawsuits everyday. Its a shame that small business owners who, keep this place in business, have suffer with such poor service.

This place has good prices and good selection for restaurants. The problem with this business is the management of this establishment is horrible. The isles are very crowded. There are products everywhere to the point having little room to get through some places. The lines are horrible. They never have enough cashiers. Sometimes it’s extremely crazy. The last time I went the manager kept skipping me and ringing out other people because they had bigger orders and wanted to cater to larger orders. I waited 30 minutes and was skipped over 2 times. If it’s not busy it’s fine. I really wished this store wasn’t a huge headache every time I go there. So many issues need to be fixed at this place.

Isles block everywhere like always out of fresh corn, prices higher than sams club.Changed the bread rack a disaster not consistent with the sandwich buns out of what we use. Carts left all over the parking lot. The weather was good.

Two registers open for 100 customers? Time is money... the manager was called and ask politely to open a register and the answer was “No, I don’t know how to run a register.”

Very disappointed. I placed an online order to pick up at the store. I arrived at the pick time and my order was not ready at all. I waited two hours for a young guy to put the order together. When we asked why many items were missing, he was pretty rude.Finally a gentleman collected te missing items and was very kind. If I ever go back, I will pick my own things, will save my time.

This is a great place to buy for restaurants or any other institutional cooking. It has virtually everything from steaks to plates. But, as far as I know, you have to have a business license to buy.

I love this new line setup at the registers. I got in line at the frozen burgers section. I think the ONLY reason this place survives is due to there being no other competitors. It seems dirty whenever I go in there. Wish they had smaller double-decker carts for those who dont need a big cart (those things are a pain to maneuver in an already crowded aisle). Due to it being 30mins from restaurant, I like to call if I only need to pick up one thing to make sure its in stock but, no one ever answers. The lines are ALWAYS horrible here, although Ive witnessed employees lingering by the front door including management (why not use those employees to open another register if theyre standing around on your clock, using your labor?!). MOST of the staff are unprofessional/rude (there are just a few good eggs in that bunch)

This place is pathetic, the new manager need to learn some people skills . He is quite an antisocial buzzard . The staff here are amazing . The new manager should get to know the customers like the cashiers and supervisors does . They have great employees but don’t realtor they well . The employees doesn’t feel as though they are cared for and valued from what I can see . The good ones Amanda, Shirley, Tonya, Carmelo, The new seafood guy. Just to name a few . New management need to recognize these wonderful team members . Without then he is nothing, they need to teach him some people skills . Oh they also need to remove the customer promise regarding 3 people in line and opening another register . False advertisement .

The pricing is good, but what i need is never in stock and their stock workers are not helpful, i tried to ask 3 people to help me get something off the top shelf but no one did as they dont understand English very well, so I had to climb on top of a cart to get what I needed. People in there are just generally rude i.e. other customers and checkout employees dont use the best logic or common sense when dealing with people

I’ve always had the worst experience at this particular place! Absolutely horrible management and employees! July 13th it happen to find the whole shelf with Friendship Farmers Cheese EXPIRED (not the first time finding expired products, so keep your eyes open). I asked at least 7 employees for help but not even one could help! I had to wait and wait and wait... After all the wait, I left all I had to buy and got out of the store! Ridiculous!!!

Slow I checked in 30 minutes early an sat there 5 hrs before getting dock. An sat 3 hours waiting to unload 4 pallets

The most poorly managed business I have encountered so far. Long lines, managers sitting while customers wait over an hour to check out. Unacceptable. On top of that I was overcharged for a bag of onions that I didnt get and then they wanted me to jump through all kinds of hoops to be refunded the money. Ridiculous. My restaurant will have to find another source.

Was able to find specialty food items not available at any other specialty market in NE FL. Best fish department in Jacksonville. The staff are quite knowledgeable and very helpful. Keep in mind its a busy place and staff have a lot to do. Always a pleasure shopping there.

The floor staff arent the most helpful but the front end staff more than make up for it.

The clerks aren’t always pleasant.Essentially the most consistent thing about Restaurant Depot is it’s inconsistency. Management is sorry, disrespectful, uneducated, and unprofessional. I felt so bad for the cashier today. The cashiers and stockers had more etiquette than the supervisor and managers. Theres no leading by example here, thank God.

I have shopped with restaurant Depot for many years and have been a loyal restauranteur that used the facilities on a daily basis. I normally never review places but after the way I was treated today, I have to let people know on how they treat long time customers. I purchased $300 dollars worth of steak and when we started to prepare to cut it a faul stench emanated from it. Since they were closed the day of purchase we decided to freeze it and return it for store credit the fallowing day. I was told by a new assistant manager that they would not issue any credit for it because, they sold it to me fresh and that I froze it. I only froze the steak so other products would not spoil due to the bacteria of spoiled fresh steaks in our refrigerator. DO NOT SHOP at this place the managers do not care about there customers or even more there employees some of which have become great friends of mine. TOP DOWN BAD MANAGMENT JUST LOOK AT THE WAY THEY TREAT EMPLOYEES AND THE HELPLESS LOOKS THEY HAVE.

Today I paid with a 100 dollar bill and they took $10 from me. They told me that they would check after the shift was over. They told me that they would call me because they had costumers on the line. I told them that they have to check the surveillance video. Im still waiting for a call after the store has already closed. The lawyer told me to file a police report. Just like they took $10, they could have easily taken $30+. After reading the reviews, I find out that they also took $10 from somebody else.

Now if they could an Express line or convyer belt to speed up the process

This place never has anything that we need it’s ridiculous. Almost always the fresh produce is rotten. Tomatoes cucumbers squash lead us are disgusting. They really have anything that you need. The restaurant owners are there right now and the list I gave them they got four things Out of 22 .I keep telling my boss just go to Sam’s because restaurant depot is a waste of time

Constant problem at this location with wait times in line. They promise to open another register if more than three people are in line but rarely if ever do. Otherwise good place. 4 people in front of me. Three behind. Just as many in the other line. Employees standing around. Just appears lazy. The Tampa location rarely has this issue. Maybe some offsite training is in order. Would be an awesome place if they could just get with it on their own promised policy... not to mention one you do get to register the cashiers are usually unfriendly to down right rude. Everyone else is usually very friendly and helpful though

I have been coming here for years and the customer service is TERRIBLE and it seems like its getting worse over time. The employees are extremely rude when you try to ask them for help like finding something or getting something down. They pretend they are too busy and I have waited 45 minutes before just so someone could help me with cleaning supplies. I even had someone say they couldnt help me because they couldnt speak English but I see them actively helping another lady afterward.The management needs to train the employees better on basic customer service manners. Lastly, they never have enough of certain items every single week I shop there.

The worst restaurant supply store ever

Ignore the reviews leaving one star based simply on a phone call or customer service. This IS A MEMBERS ONLY for restauranteurs not regular shoppers. Know what you want and if youre a member you know what they have. If you havent stepped foot in a place then your review is null and void. Good prices and they always have the commercial grade products I need. Meats and produce are fresh and prices on international products are comparable to most places in town.

Its the only place for me to get premium meats. Ill also pick up a few items too. But I mostly come here for the big bulk Meats. The bulk and price they offer cant be beat anywhere else in Jacksonville

Lines be to long not enough cashiers

I arrived at Resturant Depot at 10:13am. I only needed 1 box of pretzels and 2 boxes of churros. First off I had to wait nearly 20 minutes for the churros to be pulled from the back. The gentleman was nice about it and explained he had to move lots of things to get to the churros. What I dont understand is why are they so hidden? Keep a few boxes out where customers can buy them. Then I waited 20 minutes in the line while they had an issue with something not being in the computer. Then the cashier gave me an attitude instead of appologizing for the wait. No surprise there. Its 11:03 and Im finally back in the car. It took me nearly an hour to get 3 things! This place is unorganized, poorly managed, the employees are the saddest most unfriendly bunch of people, and they are SLOW about everything they do. I think its all because if you are in the food service industry there arent many other places to go in town to get certain things. Im not alone in feeling this way. While I was waiting in the line I talked with a few other customers who express the same feelings as I do.

Its a great place to get everything you need. Supplies were easy to find. Was experiencing a great shopping until a Fat cashier named Elmin literary throw the receipt at me and turned around when the receipt dropped. Asked him to be more polite but all I got was a mocking smile. That place deserve better employer.

It always takes forever to cash out here. 12 people in line...you think they would open another register. And of course things dont ring up correctly or at all so a manager has to come, which takes a longas well. Half the time you have you find someone to bring down a pallet of the product you want as its not on the shelf. More time waiting. I am always frustrated when I leave here. I have found most of my items online and now shop here as little as possible.
