What a great place for mens haircuts! It looks small from the outside, but inside its very comfortable with a good vibe and skilled barbers. Great conversation and a cool atmosphere that reminds me of a neighborhood barbershop in a big city. Its conveniently near my house but I would drive out of my way to have my hair cut here! (Mike was my barber and he was skilled and careful).

I had a really good experience the first time and was so excited to come back today! I drove about an hour to get there and this woman was ready to cut my hair. I showed her multiple pictures of what I wanted and she said it wasnt a problem, next thing I know, all my hair on the sides and back was shaven clean and made the rest of my head look ridiculous. We were there for almost an hour and a half, I was too embarrassed to say anything, I wish I would have, but it looked NOTHING like what I and showed her or asked of her to do. I want to give them another shot, not her, but am on the fence of just finding a different place.

Best place in town by far! The Atmosphere, the staff, the conversation, and the overall experience is by far the best I’ve seen in the state of Utah! I’ve been coming here since 2014 and won’t go anywhere else! The staff are very welcoming and polite and always keep you smiling. The skills these barbers have and squire are insanely and only get better. Thank you so much for everything and always keeping me in style!

I had my head and face shaved, eyebrows trimmed.Had to redo when I got home, patches of hair on both head and face all over. Dude who helped me out was really nice, but cut me up in several places pretty bad, including a dime sized slice taken off the top back of my head. Really disappointed and not looking forward to razor burn in the heat over the next day or so.

I always walk in due to my crazy schedule, never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes . I’ve had a couple different people cut my hair and I always get a high skin fade, I’ve never been disappointed. So far so good, great consultations and amazing outcome every time. Fades are on POINT! My husband sees Jae once or twice a month for a pompadour cut and a beard lineup. I have yet to critique his work negatively or hear him complain about the service. My husband has coarse hair but Jae manages to give him a clean fade with neat lines and awesome texture for styling. I cant speak on behalf of the other barbers but Jae is AWESOME! Oh, and you can also book appointments online.

This was my first time coming here and I didn’t leave with a haircut. I waited for over an hour when I was told it would be about a 45 minute wait. Upon first coming in, I didn’t know if I needed to get on a list or write my name down. I could barely hear the barber over the music that was blasting as he was talking to me while cutting another customer’s hair. No one ever said thank you for being patient or waiting or when my turn would be. If I had someone waiting for that long. I would definitely notice. Just really did not feel like a customer, basically a ghost. I’ll take my business elsewhere. I’m sure they cut hair fantastically, but maybe encourage barbers to communicate with their customers.

I have taken my 2 older boys there for 3 years if not longer and now I have taken my youngest there since he has gotten hair cuts. I drive an hour and a half for these hair cuts and I am never unsatisfied. My kids love going there. Ya, there is a wait. But it is worth it. I haven’t been to another shop that can cut my kids hair the way they do. I believe that every single one of the barbers have cut their hair at least once and they all do amazing. I will recommend this shop to anyone!

Jaes barbershop goes way beyond a great haircut. You can tell he takes great pride in his business. I travel quite a bit, and get my haircut at various places, but none are ever close to as good as his barbers are. He might be be a little more expensive, but he and the shop earn ever bit of it. If you go to great clips or any other chain barber shop they will have you in and out under 15 minutes; these guys take almost an hour. The reason it takes them so long? Not because they dont know what theyre doing, just the opposite. If you are getting your haircut in 10-15 minutes (like i was) they are either the most efficient barber in the world or your getting a bad haircut. Attention to detail, pride in their work, and experience sets this place apart.

I just recently tried Js for the first time this month. I have been told numerous times by a bunch of people that this is the place to go for a good haircut, and they were not lying! These guys know what they are doing! If you are looking for a good touch up or a fade and the latest hairstyle, this is the place to go! I will be making Js my biweekly haircut stop from now on.

I would give it zero stars if possible! My dad came to this place and his hair looks awful! My dad has the most basic haircut, and yet they managed to ruin a simple cut! The only comforting thing about this is that his hair will grow back!

As far as quality of hair cut its unmatched. I always walk away happy with how I look. I have struggled however with the topic of conversation at times between the staff and between the staff and some patrons. This isnt a kid friendly environment. I have heard curse words, talk about partying during the weekend, intimate relationships ect... The hair cut is for everyone the environment isnt.

Best barber shop ever

The haircut I got from here was ok. The atmosphere was just really uncomfortable. Theyd open blasting vulgar music. And as youre getting the haircut theyd keep talking to the other employees with vulgar language. My barber wasnt the best. We told him that I wanted a fade and the guy started making me bald. If I didnt catch him making me bald I couldve been bald right now. I just hope that gets improved.

Jae and Joe are very Talented Barbers that truly have mastered the Art of Barbering. They can do any style of a haircut and take their time on each client. Jae has been cutting my hair for over 5 years now. If you want a professional haircut for a great price you have to go to Js barber shop. I go once a week sometimes twice because once you get a haircut from Js you will never change barbers or hairstylists and will become addicted to the fresh cut. I love the fact that they practice the old school barbering techniques with the straight razor cuts. If you havent been to Js you dont know what you are missing. I would recommend them to everyone.

Unless you get one of the 2 good barbers there, youre screwed. Hours online are way off from their actual hours. Always booked for appointments. They told me to come back in 2 hrs so I didnt have to wait, still had to wait almost 2 hrs when I returned. The last haircut I got there was the worst haircut I have ever received and the barber didnt even use a straight razor. Haircut still cost $18, which is high. I still tipped him but I will never go back there again. Im not wearing any hats either so everyone who asks me about this terrible haircut can find out where not to go.

At first it was cool,has a good upbeat yet inner city ghetto vibe. Didnt get the barbers name he was on the phone half of the time but I believe he had a goatee. I think and was the only black barber (for description). He was in such a rush I heard him on the phone saying yeah gimme a sec ill be out by my truck when there was still plenty to do to my hair. Gave him a picture,not even close to what I asked for, still tipped and he basically walked out the door with me cause he was in such a rush to go do something. The back of my head is atleast 2 inches longer then my front, was 20$! Plus tip worste haircut ever!
