I have been a loyal customer of the Hair People for 31 years!This is a shop with formally trained, highly skilled traditional barbers, who keep very up to date.They are progressive, tolerant people who treat every one with respect.There are two former Salt Lake City mayors who get their hair cuts here, and these people need to look their best! Prices here are VERY reasonable. Leroy and Natalie have both cut my hair many, many times and both do a great job. I highly recommend this shop!

From the minute I walked in I liked this place. Leroy is as cool as any dude Ive met in SLC. It has a casual, laid-back atmosphere. It doesnt have the pretentious vibe all the hipster barber shops have. Oh and most places like that charge way more for a simple haircut. Definitely recommend The Hair People to any guy looking for a good haircut from good people at a great price.

Today my husband and son got haircuts from Leroy at Hair People. My son has a sensory processing disorder, so the sounds and sensations of getting a haircut can be very stressful for him. Leroy was amazing with him, patient, sweet, and downright graceful when it came to taking his time and doing all he could to make the experience as pleasant as possible. My husbands haircut looks great, and we will be returning to him whenever we are in the area simply for how fantastic the experience was!
