This is an updated, honest review: the other reviews are fake: one, John Abraham, is the co-owner! Notice the format on all others.I have dealt with this company and its owner since last year with many chances: I really wanted this to work out because I loved my driver, the way employees seemed to be paid and treated, and I wanted to use them in Europe after the pandemic resided.However, please be advised to use this service at your own risk; I found that the stress, along with the unethical practices are NOT worth it. The following:-Luxor is a startup company. Thus, the app gives the appearance of being well made, but prices and assignments are updated manually behind scenes, thus prices and mistakes happen with no notice unless you catch it. Signing up is terrible.- what is said on their website is not in stone; changes are constant without notice.- depending on who you talk to in dispatch, there is a major language barrier, thus many assumptions on their side are made and many misunderstandings and mistakes occur. This is especially in email.- The drivers are wonderful, and management appears wonderful, but then will argue and talk over you, regardless of how Civil you are, and they manage your accounts. It can be very difficult to cancel your account when you do.- the driver will tell you what services are offered, but once requested: suddenly it’s not offered; it may be denied; explained to you in half truth by dispatch or owners, or it seems to be offered to more important people. No one is on the same page! What is the point of the service, or the luxury “go above and beyond?”- many times when a curve ball hits you and you reach out to have it fixed, they explain to you that you were told this before, or that they sent a note or message, etc. and then act like they do you a favor to fix it. THEY USE THIS CONCEPT CONTINUALLY. I am educated as well; please don’t treat me like an idiot.-the cars listed on the site are not what you get unless you book at least a business class; that could still change as they are struggling to have cars or time “available,” whether from a lack of business or too much business, regardless, it’s never consistent.- they have it down to an art to talk well about the company, talk it up that they treat you as first class, how busy they are, etc etc. Overall, much of it is words, but the action is quite adverse.Additionally, “business is slow” in Slc. Read on...- the last straw was I made a reservation on Tuesday for Friday, then a few hours later updated the pickup time by a half hour, that is ALL. Without notice, or none I could see anywhere, they charged me full price for “changing my reservation once it was assigned,”.... three days before ... though their rules are two hours before. I had to ask my driver to please fix it for me. When he picked me up for my return trip, they told him to tell me “they would fix it this one time, but to not change a reservation again once assigned, otherwise they will charge me full price.” Completely unethical. No notice. Then they sent me a 10% code for Easter weekend if I made another reservation, not for the one I already made on the same weekend, though I use their service every week! Recently they were so busy with the capitol and senatorial pick-ups, that when I updated my reservation, it was made known to me that I must have been very special because, regardless of the change, they were going to cancel on me as others. Although that is nice, i was expecting a service anyway that I was paying for ??? If this business is so busy with corporate accounts, then just focus on government and corporate, not public AND business if you are struggling in the first place.- I have refused to share them with friends/family of the government, as this service is unreliable in one form or another, constantly, and it’s degrading. I refuse to speak with the co-owner anymore as he is impossible to reason with.- please, don’t buy into this bs of a company. It’s a nightmare using them. I’ll gladly use a taxi instead; they do a lot more for me.
