I shop this store about 2-3 times each week and I have never had a bad experience. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked, clean, and organized.This is my favorite store to shop for my pets!

Never a problem with no/low stock here. Most places seem to cater to dogs more than cats, but this place has plenty for both and other pets as well. Employees are still masked if thats a concern. If there is a line to pay, theyre pretty good about opening up a new one to get you out the door. Has a grooming place although Ive never used it so cant comment on that.

I love PetSmart. The staff are always friendly and helpful and they always have anything and everything my two dogs and two chinchillas need and want.

My choice over PetCo. Wide selection to toys and food. Training my Border Collie pup LT Max here is very productive. Grooming section has a kennel area so you can exit the store and ger other shopping out the way and they are also friendly people and my pup is always excited to see all the representatives. Their treats are slightly more expensive.

Not very pleased with the latest groom we got. Paid extra for nail grinding and teeth brushing and it wasnt done. My dog looked as she had been bathed, but not brushed out. I could run my hand down her back and gather a good amount of fur. She also has multiple cuts on her back. It seems as if they were a little too rough with her. Honestly, dont think Ill be back.

We had a new foster and needed to exchange a harness. You all were great.

I try to shop at my job but going to petsmart is so much easier. I truly appreciate and love the staff here. Hands down the best for pet supplies.

I absolutely love this PetSmart! The employees are always nice. I also bring my Pomeranian, Fluffy to the grooming salon here every other month. They always do a great job!

Good supply of animal food at a reasonable price. Crickets and mealworm are a bit more expensive than others in the area but readily available. Dog and cat food cheaper at wm for similar brands. -Random rant- Im consistently annoyed by the inappropriate housing for hermitcrabs, frogs, and crabs. (Please double the digging medium.) I purchased a $9 bag of variety sea shells for a single shell I thought my Hermitcrab would want to move into. Best $9. Shes about 3 1/2 years old. Overall a good store I recommend going each month to check out new inventory.

We purchase dog and fish supplies here. Staff is friendly and store is clean and well stocked. Be aware that their in-store prices are oftentimes far higher than their advertised price on the internet. They will price match if you show them the price on your phone. Ive saved over $30 dollars combined on two items in recent days.

I was nervous about bringing Honey to a new groomer, but Ms Charlotte does such an amazing job. The first time we took her she was a little nervous, but the second time, she went right back with her & so far I’ve been so impressed. I’ve been booking right after her appointment for her next one lol. Her nails always look so amazing, & so does her coat. Charlotte is super knowledgeable on the FURminator which is what. Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepard needs. Can’t say enough good things about the grooming!!’ Highly recommended Charlotte!!!

I went and bought two guinea pigs at petsmart two and a half days ago, and one of them had gunk in its eye. The lady checking them out said it was just fine it was from the dust in the cage or the hay. She said to bring it back if it sneezes though, because that means it’s sick and needs to be treated immediately with medication. The next day I noticed it was sneezing so I brung him back and got him looked at again. I saw a different lady that said she has her own at home and that he was okay and looked really healthy. Well tonight he passed away in the most painful way. He started shaking and couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t be more upset with petsmart I would have gotten him help.

Staff was beyond helpful and nice.

Employees are very nice....all except for one individual. She is over in the fish department and was very rude to me. This is not the first, but second time this lady has snapped and has been very sharp with her words with me. I was asking questions and trying to ask her about a certain type of fish. When I miss pronounced the name of one, she gave me a look and rudely said “that’s actually the way wrong, it’s pronounced Parrot Cichlid”. Then after snapping at me, she told me I couldn’t buy the fish with no valid reason, as to why I could not buy it. As I had just bought a 65 gallon tank, that has NO FISH in it at all yet. If you want to go and buy a fish...DO NOT ask the bigger lady with brown hair and glasses for help. Will not be going back!!

We took twoMini Schnauzers in to be groomed. I gave specific instructions on how each dog was to be groomed. We both received phone calls telling us beards would be shaved. Not only did they shave beards but moustaches as well, stating “to them it was all the same”. We now have two dogs, no skirts, no beards and no moustaches. The older one was shaved slick and the younger was a hit and miss. Our poor fur babies are still even ashamed and hide under pillows. NOT SURE ABOUT OTHER BREEDS, but NO idea on Schnauzers!! Would give them a minus 5 if I could!!

Have taken my dogs here for the past 15 months. At first they were great and loved my dogs! Then after about one year they cut my elderly dog’s nails in the quick not once but twice to the point I had to take her to the vet to stop the bleeding!

1 star because I could not leave zero. Left my 3 dogs here for grooming 1st time ever theyre normal groomer was booked. They literally did not clean my dogs. All 3 are short hair mixes. Very disappointed will not take them here again.

We have been taking our dog here for years for grooming with no problems. They do a good job and seem to enjoy their jobs.

Had the first visit of many recently and I absolutely love how they took care of my fur baby, the service was great, the ladies were very friendly and caring.

The animal care is pretty terrible here, the ball pythons all look very skinny and are never able to shed properly due to the low humidity. They sell cages that are horrible for the hamsters, and keep betas in tiny containers when there sold. Ive bought a few pets from here and not once have they asked me any questions, like what kind of habitat I have or even if I know anything about the pet . I truly feel that this store is business only and not about the well being of the animals .

Two employees (think names are Ashley and Deidre) VERY helpful with my questions about snail infestation in my tank. Moving my goldfish into the tropical tank for a couple of hours made a MAJOR improvement. This may not be as hard to control as I feared...THANKS guys!

(Most of) the employees are absolutely terrible. The shift leaders or shift managers, whatever you wanna call them, are rude and hardly know how to even do their job. I try to take the extra 30 minute drive to the other closest petsmart just to avoid the employees here.

This is my favorite Petsmart to go when I’m in Salisbury, NC. They always have nice and friendly associates to help you out for whatever your looking for. I always buy all my Cats litter tray refills and Cat food here. The prices are great and they even will match other competitors prices, coupons,...I love how, they get you in and out quickly, with the multiple fast checkout lanes. :) I try to come at least a few times a month to this location.

Had my dog groomed for the 1st time using there in store department and I could not be more satisfied with the outcome and I know that my dog was not easy to handle but he has been nothing but happy since we picked him up not to mention his cut is so clean and the deshedding or Furminator is definitely worth it!! Thank you so much ladies for taking the best care of our furbaby!!

This store is not requiring people to wear masks in the store. They are suggesting people wear masks. There was an unmasked person behind me in the check out line and another standing by the door that everyone had to walk by to get in or out. When I called the manager he said that corporate would not allow stores to insist that people where masks. I work in health care my life is already at risk I resent greatly having to be put at additional risk because this company is so greedy that they are afraid to lose the business of people selfish enough not to care about fellow human beings. I will be buying my pet supplies from Chewys from now on, they deliver, delivery is free and they are always cheaper than petsmart. Even when this covid19 pandemic is over I will not return to purchase supplies at petsmart because of their flagrant disregard for the lives of their customers.
