If I could switch my post office I would, but I guess they dont allow that. No matter how many times I turn in the form given to me by the carrier stating the people living at my address they ALWAYS give me mail that aint mine(we bought our house last year). I have turned in several times where my dog was put down due to heartworms and age and they still will not bring packages to my house. I have called, went in person and turned in papers and contacted customer service but I still have the same problems. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SALISBURY POST OFFICE FOR ANY MATTERS!!!

I came in on January 15th to mail something. There was a postwoman at front desk. I asked her a question about differences in postal mail services.For some reason she got upset with me, raised her voice yelling at me trying to explain the difference... She wasnt very logical about it either.I was shocked by her reaction. It was just a very simple question, come on.As long as I live in Salisbury, I had never experienced anything like this at post office!I dont know her name, but she had a flower on the side of her head and she on my receipt she is indicated as Clerk #02 (01/15/2021).

Im VERY disappointed with the USPS in Salisbury, NC. I sent a package to Texas on February 17, 2021 and it still hasnt arrived and today is March 1, 2021! I paid extra money and sent it Priority Mail. To anyone who reads this DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY SENDING SOMETHING OVERNIGHT OR PRIORITY!!!

Just became aware of post master not allowing overtime. I have friends who work and depend on overtime, actually wanting to work. When 5+ people call out a day and you’re telling me the people who SHOW up to work and WANT to work can’t get overtime? Are you kidding me? The post office is in no means short on money. What will y’all do when everyone dependable quits to find a job that will actually pay them overtime? They are not paid enough to do a job that stressful and you cut out overtime. Ludicrous.

Called and spoke to Renee who told me my certificated mail was there. I told her I was going to pick it up later that day. Left work early, and when I got there Ericka said that Renee “didn’t pay attention” and sent it back to the sender. I wouldn’t be so mad if the item wasn’t important, but the item is something that I need to close on my house next week.Also, Ericka is kinda rude and tried to blame the situation on me because I didn’t tell Renee to hold the item for me. Why else would I call to inquire about a package? Also if I said I was going to be there later to pick it up, why would I ask for them to hold it? That was a dumb, rude response Ericka.

I use this Post Office for a lot of my mail. I love the two ladies who work there. One lady has reddish hair with glasses. She is always very kind to me and helps all she can. Most of the workers are great....Sometimes the line is so LONG!!! I once waited over 30 minutes to mail a letter. I think they need two Post Offices here in Salisbury.Ken Pruett our post delivery man is the best Mailman Ive ever had and I hope he sees this!! Thank you Ken for all you do.

I have had other peoples mail delivered to me in error several times but the worst service comes with package delivery. Yesterday I received a package that was open and part of the contents missing. They rang the bell and were gone before I could open the door and see the condition of the package. I dont even know if I will be able to replace the item or recover my money for the purchase. Terrible service.

I found a way online to lodge a complaint but could not find a way to provide a compliment. :>Anyway, I took my 2 daughters to the Salisbury NC post office last week to get their passports renewed. The gentleman who helped us – Mr. Webb, is a true asset to the USPS. He was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. We all left feeling like he went above and beyond to take care of us.I hope this gets to him and his staff/supervisors in Salisbury. We really appreciate you William!

Mail is put in wrong boxes. Trying to call is an endless loop of recordings. At 9 this morning received notice that attempted delivery was made and box was full. The mail carrier has not even run yet. Now, the item is too big for a box. So I thought I’ll run up to the post office. Unable to talk to a live person. 😡

Live in apartments and postal came on a Saturday to to deliver mail. Couldn’t fit my package in mailbox so instead of walking 2 doors down to my apartment they just leave a note saying I have to pick up at post office which will be Monday! So for one they were too lazy to come to my door to deliver (maybe 40ft.) & for two I have to wait until Monday to get it now!

The only reason I am giving them one star is because thats the lowest it will go. The actual staff inside is friendly and helpful for the most part but boy that delivery service is beyond reprehensible. They never deliver any of our packages to the door. Thats not to say that I mind coming to pick them up but they load the packages to deliver they just choose not to deliver them so you have to wait an extra day to come back and pick it up once you receive the Im sorry we missed you slip. Its so backwards why load the packages on your route just to not deliver them.

Some days I get mail. Some items get put in other peoples mail boxes and some comes weeks later. Ive been waiting on my stimulus check that was supposed to arrive this week. It was probably put in someone elses box instead. Im not impressed.

The deliveries are always unpredictable, the workers in the facility are rude when you have questions even if they’re over the phone questions. Packages are almost never delivered on time.

LOUSY, LOUSY, LOUSY, did I say LOUSY???? I had another NO SERVICE today, yes another one, I have a long history of them. I got a notification email showing that at 10:15 am my package was out for delivery. Later I received another email showing that at 11:22 am my packaged was Held at Post Office, Retrieved from full parcel locker. After calling several times and getting busy signal, when I finally got somebody who answered the phone named Dana, she told me that they do not deliver packages where I live. A delivery service that does not deliver packages where people live, isnt that a sad contradiction???. After my insistence trying to make Dana to give me an explanation why my package was not even on the truck???, she asked me for my phone number and told me that she was going to research and call me back. As any one of you who has been through a similar situation with these people suspect, that phone call never happened because what Dana was doing was plain and simple, getting rid of me. But I have not been treated better by the postmaster either in the past. What can you expect when even the person in charge is rude, unprofessional and even worse, the one who refuses to give the service???

We scheduled 2 small packages to be picked up with instruction they would be in our mailbox. Carrier placed our incoming mail on top of packages and left packages in box. Received email notice they had been picked up. No they were not. I rescheduled to be picked up the next day. The same thing happened. This has happened a lot. I have scheduled to be picked up from on our porch. Sometimes they do and sometimes they dont. They want postage increases, but cant do what they say they do on their web site.

Pathetic little place. Where you go to receive the best of Americas civil service.Tried my best to make it to the Post Office to mail my package with 5 minutes to spare. Little wizened supervisor lady with badly colored hair meets me at the door and tells me I cant get into line because that would cause the counter workers to get into overtime, and they werent going to do that.Loudly protesting this treatment, and that it was imperative my package go out today, with high-quality, professional, customer-service oriented training, I was informed that if I didnt leave, they would call the police.No one should wonder why disgruntled mail workers go postal.

The employees who work inside do their very best to service those in line as quickly as possible, and they do it with a smile. My only issue is with the carrier who refuses to deliver my items to my apartment. I have to always go to the post office to retrieve my items.

On March 6th, 2019, my postman tossed my package into the ditch rather than leave it on my porch. Ive never had a problem like this before, but I do not appreciate my packages or property being tossed in the ditch because the postman is too lazy to do their job, the job they are being payed to do, properly.

Ive had packages delivered to my home that didnt belong to me and my packages have been delivered to other peoples homes . I get mistakes can happen and luckily there are honest people still out there and returned our packages to us and vice versa. That was around Christmas time. I have had numerous packages delivered to my house but what I do not understand is why on beautiful, sunny days the packages are left in our carport . But whenever it is nasty outside the packages are left on the front porch (not even left under a fragment of the roof) just tossed up on the top step in water. I dont like leaving negative reviews but this has to stop. Common sense would say put stuff in carports (which is less of a walk in the nasty weather) . Please resolve these issues. Luckily, the things Ive ordered were not so important that they couldnt get wet. Thanks.

We have a small business, we try to go to the woodleaf post office when we can. We have been treated poorly here, though there are some good employs here. However more than once we have had some our products we were shipping go missing here. They never get scanned in. For that reason Id say make sure to get a receipt if you do online shipping.

More package delivery issues through UPS/ USPS Surepost delivery. This time a gift for my wife is supposedly delivered 11/20 at 7:26am. How does a package get delivered before your carriers are even out for daily delivery? The mail was actually delivered after 1pm to the mail box. There was no package left then either, I was home and saw with my own eyes. No wonder the USPS is failing. You have one job...deliver the mail, and cant even get it right. How can you mark a package as delivered that never was? A mistake? Sheer incompetence?Guess I wil have to go speak with the Post Master on 11/21.

This post office is the most incompetent post office I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They have delivery truck drivers there who put packages in the wrong boxes, mix up house numbers, put packages in other peoples mail boxes. Like come on, how do they keep consistently making the same stupid mistakes. So many packages get lost and misplaced and its their fault. And no one can really do anything about it.

Messing with someones mail is a FEDREAL offense!!! Missing packages, opened packages, packages left at a neighbors garage.. this is all unacceptable! I got a rude note from my carrier on my mail saying my mail won’t be delivered if the box is blocked. I live in a duplex on a corner. My cars & door faces the side street & my boxes are on the other street where the neighbor parks. I don’t appreciate the rude notes when it’s not even my vehicle! I can’t control what the neighbor does! I haven’t even talked to him since he moved in. Very unprofessional for your driver to blame me. There is numbers on the duplex’s so they can tell which door is where so who’s car is who’s.

The workers at the actual post office are AWESOME and always try their best especially Janet - the actual post office delivery is AWFUL. Sometimes, they never deliver mail we left in our mailbox (our neighbor saw them take It and then it gets mysteriously lost) and most of the time we receive packages that are crushed or destroyed from USPS in some way. They will literally try to crush/squeeze a big package inside your mailbox too. I leave a note on our mailbox not to do this but apparently they dont know how to read. When we call and complain to the supervisor they defend their staff rather than trying to solve the problem. And its not just us - all neighbors have this problem. The delivery staff really needs to get their act together and the supervisor needs to listen to people. What a concept.

No one has picked up my mail since the weekend. Here we are at the end of the day on Tuesday. The wait for a phone call regarding carriers was 33 minutes. Hmmm. Only lived here two months. I honestly have never had this happen in my adult years. I am guessing the employee is out sick and they have no backup.

Very bad service they are always having confusion with my packages. First time they left a note and said they delivered it to me and nobody answered the door,but they never knocked on my door.Second time they delivered package to my mailbox left the package mailbox key for me to retrieve my package and it was no package in there at all.Where is my package this cannot keep happening.

Local post office is horrible! Half the time I dont get my packages delivered and the only way I find out is from the tracking info saying it was delivered. They dont leave any notice saying they attempted to deliver or anything. I have to go down there and complain and then I get stuff delivered for a month or 2 then, it goes back to nothing.I called today to find out where a package was and see if I could just go pick it up because it was 3 days past the delivery date and tracking was showing it was at the local office. They told me there was nothing they could do, that there was too many packages and they didnt have the time to go find mine and hold it for me to pick up.No wonder people use UPS and FedEx!

The postal clerk just yelled out the name of the company I was sending my package to along with the city and state so that anyone could block it or intercede payment that stood in the long line at the Salisbury Post Office in Salisbury, NC. I believe the Salisbury Post Office never delivers and horribly neglects the mail of local black businesses
