Rented a drywall panel lifter for a ceiling repair last week. The staff was exceptionally friendly. And, they helped to load the item, and unload upon my return. The price was reasonable and the equipment worked perfectly.

I have always rented specialty equipment here. They are the only ones I like and they are laid back and dont try to kill you if u miss your return time

We needed an excavator to clear some underbrush. What we got was very small considering what we needed. That’s the biggest we have, we were told upon arrival. I’ve seen bigger on playgrounds in public parks. Then, when it was started and checked the thumb, the quick connect popped off and had to wait till Saturday morning before the repairs could be made. Now, the hydraulic hose started spraying fluid from the crimp of the hose, now they are charging us for repairs for those 2 things! The NERVE of these people! DO NOT use this company unless you have $$$ to waste! Btw, my brother in law had to fix the thumb in order to use it. They should THANK him for doing that and not charging them! What a bunch on ingrates!

So I rent a concrete floor grinder from them on late Friday. I got it home and plugged it up and it flipped my breaker in my house. I then ran it off a 250 bobcat welder generator comb that has 20 amp continues. It did not flip right away but after grinding for 5 or so minutes it would flip the breaker. Motor on the grinder was getting hot. Not only that the Diamond bits that I had to pay for extra for, would not stay in the grinder, they would just sling out. They close at 5 on Friday so when I return it on Saturday I spoke with them and they said there was nothing wrong with grinder. They then took it in the back and operated it for 15 seconds and it chunked one of the bits out. I said what about that. He then replied there is nothing wrong with the grinder we deal with customer like you all the time. And refused to give me any of my money back or another grinder. After this dealing I will not be renting from them again. Sunbelt is a little more expensive but they will stand behind their equipment and treat you fair. Google these people and look at all the bad reviews on them. I spent over 200 dollars on their junk rentals. They will not be in Business long if they have other customers like me because we aren’t coming back and I’m going to keep putting reviews all over until I receive my money back. BAD customer service.

To whom it may concern:I came to the shop a couple weeks ago to get an estimate for a 10 Electric Walk-Behind Concrete Floor Grinder. The young lady behind the counter was fantastic. She provided great customer service. Today, I obtained a competitors estimate. That estimate was approximately $50.00 cheaper. Although they did not have one in stock, they agree to locate one and call me when it was available. Luckily I dont need it for a few days. In an attempt to save $50.00, and patronize a smaller operation, I then went back to Tool Rental Depot and asked for a price match. I shared the competitors estimate with the manager, Mark. He initially agreed to a price match. After further conversation, he suggested there was some type of confusion between me and the competitors representative. I assured him there was no confusion. The equipment was the same. The conversation became argumentative. At my suggestion, he called the competitor twice. She initially gave him a higher rate. After hanging up the phone, he again told me hed match their estimate since it was higher. And... even suggested I go back to the competitor. He told me again there was obviously some confusion. I confirmed again there was no confusion and he confirmed hed match their price. He challenged me again and said hed call the the competitor and get her on speaker phone. I took him up on that offer. He called the second time, put her on speaker, explained to her I had just left her place of establishment. She then shared exactly what she had offered me... (a rate $50.00 cheaper). After that call, he then refused to honor his initial agreement, suggested I rent from the competitor and clearly got defensive and angry. I then attempted to rent his equipment at the higher rate. He refused and said he can rent to whomever he chooses. Best of luck with that attitude. I will no longer frequent this establishment while Mark is a manager. I will transfer my business to Team Rental in Lexington.

Did not get an explanation of how to operate the machine we were renting from them. This caused the belt to break and for us to cut our job short. Would have a better rating if they had better customer service.

Great Customer Service, I am the Fire Chief for a local municipal fire dept and received a concrete grinder for a floor resurfacing project from them at NO CHARGE as a donation to our department as a thank you for our service. They will get our future business.

I rented a deck sander and everything went fine the first time. Second time, I could not get it because a previous customer dropped it and broke it. Next week when I got it, it would run for two minutes and shut itself off. Store people told me it was my electricity at my house that would not allow it to run because it did run at the store again. Even though the store told me a bearing was jammed when I returned it and it would not work. Third attempt, it would only run for a minute and shut it self off again. I took it back to the store and the sander ran fine inside the a/c shop. But I was told it had a thermal breaker was causing it to turn itself off.. I used this outdoor tool in 90 degree heat.

Nice people. Good prices and quality equipment. Rented twice and will continue to do business with them.

Rented a Harley rake and a straw blower sat. The rake came with a flat tire and The hydraulic hose took a hr of messing with it to get it freed up to even use. blower was hard to start and almost couldnt get it running a few times. When I returned to them and they blamed me for breaking it and dont want to give me any kind of break On price. I Finally asked to speak to the manager Mark and he wouldnt hardly give me a chance to talk he just kept cutting me off and on top of that he refused to even go and look at the equipment with me until I argued with him for 10 minutes at least about going out. BAD BAD BAD customer service

Very friendly and courteous employees.

Mark and his staff have been a pleasure to work with and I will continue to go to them for all my rental needs.
