I want to thank everyone at James River Equipment in Salisbury NC. Our experience was one that could last a lifetime. My 1025R is exactly what I was expecting. With great help from Mackenzie. Very knowledgeable, kind and down to earth attitude made our buy and shopping for a new tractor easy. Thank you for all u did to help us choose the right equipment for our land. Can’t say enough good things about MacKenzie and Scott. Found me the baler I needed at the price I wanted. Wasn’t afraid to get dirty and give a great demo. Also helped me get what I needed to properly hook up to my tractor. You guys are a great sales team that keeps me coming back.

I ORDER A NEW TRACTOR SEAT FROM SALISBURY STORE. I WAS TOLD I WOULD BE CALLED WHEN IT CAME IN. I DID NOT GET A CALL. I CALLED TO SEE IF IT CAME IN . I WAS TOLD BY PARTS DEPT. THAT I HAD ALREADY PICK UP MY SEAT. I SAID NO I DID NOT. THEY SAID SOMEBODY HAD PICK IT UP, THEY COULD NOT FIND. I SAID I WOULD BE CALLING IF I PICK IT UP. PLEASE LOOK AGAIN IT IST A BIG SEAT IN A BIG BOX . HE WENT BACK AGAIN AND IT WAS A MIRACLE THERE IT WAS. I DO NOT LIKE BEING TOLD I ALREADY GOT SOMETHING THAT I DID NOT GET. THE SEAT COST $1000. I WILL BUY FROM THEM AGAIN

All sales and no service; took in my Sthil MS290, since sthilusa said they were a dealer/repair facility, it needed a service and carburetor adjustment. Took a week for them to look at it and then called me told me it was ready. Looking at the bill and it stated cylinder has scratches, cost more to rebuild then a new one. I bought a new carburetor from Amazon. After about an hour or 2 of adjustments, it now idles and runs like new.First and last time Ill be in. Funny thing is I was willing to pay the 40$to80$ in labor plus parts, not to deal with the hasle of doing it myself.I wouldnt even give James River a 1 star, but thats the lowest I can give.

Customer service great. Service mower at your location for routine stuff. Pickup & delivery included in price of mailed flyer deals for next season service on mower if needed. Love John Deere Zero Turn mowers- available at dealer with warranty. Easy acess, full service dealership in Salisbury, corner Concord Salisbury Rd and Julian Rd.

Friends purchased tractor here from a sales man and after signing paperwork it took weeks to get tractor. Arron Cranford was not the salesman however he was the one who got the ball rolling. Should of used Arron from the beginning. Would have been 5 stars if Arron was involved from day one.

Salesman (Dave) was helpful, sincere, and patient. I told him the mower I was interested in, asked him if I needed anything more powerful (I didnt, he didnt try to tell me otherwise), and throughly explained every intricate detail about the mower. Before I brought the mower home, he assured me that if I needed anything at all, to call him while sitting on the mower so he could walk me through any processes I might need help on.

I walked in to get a part for my husbands mower. They were customer service oriented from start to finish. They held the door open, asked how they could help, and directed me to a service desk immediately by giving first names of service personnel. I felt like family and friend all at once. The part was looked up, found, and rung up within minutes. I was there for about seven minutes from start to finish. They thanked me on my way out....like they wanted me to come back.

HOW HARD IS IT TO GET LAWN MOWER BLADES FOR A JOHN DEERE LAWN MOWER AT A JOHN DEERE BUSINESS.....APPARENTLY EXTREMELY DIFFICULT BECAUSE THE ROCKET SCIENTIST THAT WORK THERE GAVE MY HUSBAND THE WRONG SIZE BLADES...NOT ONCE BUT TWICE EVEN WHILE GIVING THEM THE MODEL#....WE WONT BE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION IN THE FUTURE.

Bought a brand new John Deere tractor exactly 1 year ago. As of today it has been broke down for almost 2 months out of the 12 that I have owned it. The service department absolutely sucks. Ive been waiting for 3 weeks this time and a technician has been out once and my tractor still doesnt work. Call the service department and all you get is the run around. I will NEVER buy another piece of equipment there. Salesman was an awesome guy but beyond that, once you buy it good luck getting anything fixed.

Dropped off chainsaw I bought from there to get fixed. Was charged $60 to replace a wire. Took it home, when I went to use it no start!! Took it back, was told it was ready. Took it home, no start!! Called service department and got run around and attitude!! Jeez!! Thought I would give them another chance and buy mower. Sales girl said they had a new one so I drove from 30 miles away and get there and its not even the right mower!!! Time waste!!! No apologies

We went there to purchase a small tractor and was totally ignored by everyone. Walked all over the store and the outside and was never spoken too. We pasted sales person coming in on our way out the showroom and he didnt even speak. So we took our money else where. We had cash in pocket and just wanted a small tractor.. I think they judged us as not have alot of money. There mistake.. I dont recommend this place at all

The service dept absolute sucks . 2 years ago I bought a new stihl ms 391 . Had trouble with starting and flooding . Took it back the lady called said it was ready so I went to pick it up. Upon arrival I gave my name and told her I was there to pick up the saw she went to get it and was gone for 20 minutes and returned without the saw . She explained that the service tech took the saw home with him to work on it and forgot to bring it back with him also they never fixed the saw which was under warranty only 2 weeks old and had the nerve to charge me $49.00 . Never again will I ever buy anything from James river Salisbury nc . I might add that the sales person jerry that sold me the saw was super nice but the service dept ruins it all

This place doesnt even deserve one star. The biggest rip off ever. Took my drop seeder to this business after discussing the cost to repair it,which was not reasonable at all, I asked them to fix the tires. Yesterday they called me to say the seeder was ready to be picked up. I arrived today to find that it was not ready and the worker was just then puting air in the tires which took two minutes and they had not done any sealing or repair to the tires. They had already taken my $43.87, so I guess two minutes of labor and some air cost $43.87. My last visit to this place and hopefully those reading my review and my future social media post will find another place to do business.
