I love being able to always find what I need, whether its in the store or online, I always find whatever home improvement items I need at that time. Not to mention, shopping online and having it delivered to my store is super easy and I almost always get it the very next day! The employees are always very helpful, courteous, and there when you need them.
They didnt have what I was looking for, but a lady that worked there took the time to help me look for it. We tried several places in the store even though she was busy doing other things, she still took the time to help me.
Good luck getting some help here, if you find someone...its not their area or theyre way too busy doing something else to help poor little ole you. And ask to have something loaded? Youre better off breaking your own back and do it yourself because they either are too busy or dont have the authority to use a forklift.And yet they have LOTS of people working there.But I will say the cashiers are usually fairly nice.
We ordered a washer and dryer from here and it was brought and installed only to not work. They sent someone to fix it only for it to still not work so we had them pick it up and refund our money. Then tried again 3 months later the washer and dryer gets to my home and they get ready to install it only for them to tell us that the associate gave the wrong stacking kit. They took the washer and dryer back to the distribution center. They ordered the right stacking kit and rescheduled our delivery for 5pm and said the new stacking kit would be at the customer service desk after 4pm. Got there at 4:50 and waited for an hour for associates to keep looking on the same shelves for the new stacking kit only for them to finally say its not there yet. The next morning the new stacking kit is ready for pick up. I pick it up. My wife gets a call saying the delivery men would be at our house in 10 minutes (mind you it is 2:30 when they call her and not the time they said they had scheduled it). When they get there they then say oh we cant hook up the washer and dryer because the vent line is in the wall and they cannot put old equipment on new that is a Lowes rule....NO ONE PRIOR TO THIS HAD SAID ANYTHING ABOUT NEW VENTING TUBES OR ANYTHING. THIS IS THE WORST LOWES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH
I was going to buy a shelving unit that showed online that the store had 26. Could not find The item so I pushed the button for assistance no one came. Could not find an associate so I went up to the register and the cashier requested someone to assist me. No one ever came.. A girl came that was stocking the shelves but she did not assist me either.. After 30 minutes of waiting I left the store without making a purchase. I will not be back.
Went to purchase this unit because it said 7 in stock at this location. Asked for assistance because it wasn’t on the floor - after waiting for 45 minutes - I had to leave! So I called to speak with the manager that was assisting me but was unable to get him on the phone, so I went through the entire process again with another manager. The phone call was almost an hour long & 45 minutes of that I was on hold - she then was frustrated while I was giving her the item number & HUNG UP ON ME! I just wanted to know if they did or did not in fact have it so I would know to go to another store or not but was unable to get an answer or decent customer service from a manager! I’d go here for small items but for more complicated things make the trip a little further!
Found everything I needed with great service.
Waited in the garden center over an hour for pavers to be restocked. Associate said there was more in the back and that the system showed 500 on hand. After walking back to verify the stock, I was told every 20 minutes that they were waiting on the lift driver. That and their manager is running them around doing odd chores. After this song and dance went on for over an hour, we were told that they were out of stock. Nice honest customer service 😒

Every item I listed a picture the price was wrong and I wouldnt have known if I didnt compare the price at the register. I find this very deceptive on Lowes part. You are paying more and you cant see the price of the items on the credit card pad like you use to. I dont care for the fact that veterans have to register online to get a discount. STOP trying to cheat us out are money its wrong. Im very disappointed in the Lowes Corporation.

How does my review magically disappear? This location frequently has no stock of normal items. This location is very convenient for me, but I often find myself driving to Ace Hardware or Home Depot in Concord due to desiring better quality, or items not being in stock.Oh and recent nightmare experience, my mother in law ordered shelves, spending about $600, and had a massive lead time since they were out of stock. Well apparently corporate canceled it due to them allowing over-ordering or bad inventory management— (-39 in stock) and it’s been a circus trying to get a refund, which could take 30 days or more, which is entirely unacceptable. Not entirely all their fault, buuuut they should see the inventory is ridiculously upside down before ordering for her.
Horrible experience! Even with multiple employees available (and many standing around doing nothing); Had to wait almost an hour to pick up a cabinet after receiving a phone call that it was in. Was due in months ago but staff neglected to order it. Then was misinformed of p/u date several times. DO NOT RECOMMEND !! Will drive the extra mileage to Hone Depot next time

Home improvement selection here are always good. We get most of our home products here. From tools to hardwares, wood and landscaping, from appliances and electrical... we usually just get it here. Their app make it a whole lot better to shop along with employees who will help with any assistance we need. Thank you Lowes of Salisbury!!!

Love walking around in here. Need to go more often to know where things are located. Didnt see much staff available for questions. However, when I did find them they were knowledgeable about what isle numbers I needed to go to to locate what I needed.
I paid for a fence project last june and the material is still in my yard ruining my grass. unbelievable

I went to buy outdoor for a handicap ramp.I was .going to get brown didnt have any lowes didnt have that color. So I went with green the employee I wanted 138.inchs buy 36 wide .the employee told me that I had to get 12 ft instead of ll ft so it was cut the employee Started to roll it so it was so thin and you see through. So I didnt think it was of good quantity. So I will go somewhere els.
Always nice to go into Lowes shopping. Its nice to be able to go in and go straight to what you are looking for. The aisles are labeled well and most of the time u can find somebody to help you if needed!

I hate this store. They never have what I need in stock and I end up having to go to a store in another city. Just this week they were out of cinder blocks. Then I needed a piece of plywood cut and was told that the saw has been broken for a month. What kind of customer service is that? Suffice it to say Im extremely annoyed and will probably go directly to the Lexington store from now on since thats where I end up going anyway.
Customer service at the Salisbury store sucks. No one is ever available to answer the phone or available to help customers find what they are looking for. Outside lawn and garden is the worst I gave ever seen, no associate knows their plants and most plants are dead or dying from lack of water. Very poor service in all departments I have been to in this store.
As a veteran I have been dealing with Lowes since 1999. They have quality merchandise and educated employees. They also respect veterans with a discount. If they dont have it they can usually order it.

We were interested in ordering formica laminate, as we are remodeling our kitchen. We arrived at 4:20 and the clerk was helping another customer. We waited and waited. We finally asked if someone was available, the clerk stated that he had left for the day and would not be available until Saturday. The clerk was still there but he had clocked out already. We were finally able to make an appointment to return on Saturday. But I feel that Lowes should have someone available after 430 or 5 oclock.

Not safe to go here. Nobody masking. Dodged people best I could, picked out the chainsaw I wanted. Tried to get someone to get one for me, but couldnt find an employee that was masked. Left without it. Will order from Amazon online.
Beyond zero stars...i cant believe how bad this place is. I hate writing bad reviews but you have earned it.....I have called at least 7 times about my lawnmower that I needed to pick up. 3 times someone actually answered the phone was zero help at all, said they would call me back which never happened. 3 times I am put on hold for over an hour and gave up. One time, I went there in person to buy a washer and dryer and gave up after waiting over and hour for someone to take our order.....unreal......I hope my money shows up in my account...I fear I may have to go there again...please god,dont make me go there...
Over last few years Lowes has really transformed itself onto a shopper friendly place. We recently had to purchase a new storm door and we could not have been treated better or been given wiser guidance.

Just had the worst experience with Meagan at customer service returns. My husband stopped by the 207 Faith Road location to return cabinet paint. We were told by this store rep without a receipt or so we would not be able to refund you for this paint as it was custom mixed. Politely I did push back slightly to educate her on my lack of knowledge regarding how paints are prepared or mixed. I Politely told her that I was shopping for other items so I will continue my visit but I will be back in a short while to engage with a customer. Here is where the plot thickens. Another rep from self checkout calls in for a member of leadership and there we engage with Justin. As as a manager I would have thought his first thought would be to have a active listen. NOT SO...he allows me to start explaining and I guess he must have got tired of listening because he rudely interrupted me and questioned whether I wanted to process a return. Then he walks off as Im standing at the register I tried to gain an understanding of the circumstances behind returning mixed paints his response it doesnt matter I am taking care of you now. Again I politely said well actually it does matter since I dont work for you all how am I suppose to know a semi gloss white paint is mixed what does that mean to me as a customer. He saids again we cant resell to another customer since its mixed with other stuff. First and foremost his facial expression was very degrading as if he had a issue withe asking questions. Part of me honestly felt as if it was the question but possibly my skin color. Cant say for sure but i will engage corporate and let them know that I I have been doing business as a loyal customer of lowes for more than a few decades. I purchase alot of materials flipping and remodeling homes. I will not tolerate that type of poor customer service from anyone let alone a member of leadership having the inability to actively listen and treat me like a human. For $16 bucks?? Not worth my dignity as a customer I have a right to understand a said policy and dont think its asking for much to push back or ask clarifying questions to understand. Then to add insult to injury when handing me the pin to sign a receipt you would much rather place the paper and pin on the counter then touch my black hand apparently. Disgusting to think but unfortunately the engagement speaks for itself. To not make him feel uncomfortable and come in contact with my black hand I signed and placed the pin and paper on the counter. Absolutely livid!!!! Disgusted!!!
I love lowes but they need to stop.buying cacti from vendors that glue fake flowers to the top. All that does is damage the plant and keep people from buying them. Also put your cacti out in the sun, not in the inside of your store. If they are healthy you will sell more and will be buying more to replace sold ones instead of dead ones.
The absolute worst! I purchased an appliance on Sunday and it was delivered on Wednesday. The applicance was not working. I called to inform them the appliance wasnt working only to be transferred 4 times in 90 minutes with no solution. I then called Thursday (the next day) and was transferred again and placed on hold for 2 hours. I was on hold so long I drove to store while being on hold. Customer care wasnt helping. I was told the appliance would be picked up on Friday. I called after 2pm because the appliance wasnt picked up. Only to be informed that the pick up was never put in. At this point I said I wanted to refund the appliance because it wasnt working and no one seemed to care or help. They sent someone out Sunday a week after the initial purchase. They supposedly fixed the washer machine and it was running for the first time since it was installed on Wednesdsy. So we cancelled the return. Only to findout 30 minutes later it was not fixed.I called back and asked them to pick it up to be returned. I was then told the washer would be picked up today(Monday) between 4 and 8 pm. I received a call at 8pm telling me I needed to reschedule because no one was home. I informed the associate that wasnt true because Ive been waiting at home all day. She apologized and placed me on hold to reference her notes. She returns to the call to tell apologize the reschedule was needed because there was something wrong with the truck.Wth!?!?!!?!?. Now the appliance cant be picked up until Wednesday. When I demanded to speak to a supervisor Raina placed me on hold for 12 minutes and said she received approval that the unit will be picked up tomoorw. however it is on an overflow truck so she cant verify a time. Im not holding my breathe on this. How do I have an appliance in my home for almost a week that is not working? I certainly wont be doing any business with lowes moving forward.This is the absolute worst. I have reschedule plans 3 times because of the mess!

Wow....what a change in the Lowe’s. Went in today for anchors and various things for a project. I normally would travel to Kannapolis because this store near me was horrible for customer service. Today I had so many friendly staff willing to help me I was astonished. Whatever changes they are doing I hope it continues. Even the atmosphere has changed. Please continue.

I love shopping at Lows, but they are falling behind. They need more help, especially when you purchase a trailer. There was no one there to sign my certificate. We needed it to be notarized. Everyone who could notarize our certificate went home and was not coming back, this was on Monday 24, 2021. We were told that DMV could notarize the certificate so we to the DMV and was told Lowes had to notarize the certificate. We went back to Lowes...you guessed it, The ones who was authorize to notarize the certificate was not there. Something needs to be done about their lack of how they handle business in all areas.

I bought a string trimmer (Craftsman). Tried to return it, because it would not start from the day I bought it. WAS TOLD I HAD TO SEND IT FOR WARRANTY. So I did. Then was told by the warranty center that tried to repair it said it wasnt cost effective, because the engine had to be replaced, then told me to take it back to Lowes for credit/exchange. Where I was told since they didnt carry this model anymore they couldnt help me.
Always going for lumber with my fiance, our business is thriving and we love the quality of lumber Lowes has to offer. Always friendly staff waiting to give you a hand at loading your truck. Definitely would recommend to family and friends.

Their outdoor garden center employees could be more helpful to handicap people. I asked for help and they just sent me all over the place.
They provide PPE at the entrances, which means a lot to me, and I love their plant variety. I was disappointed to discover the broccoli plants I bought were root bound, which impacts the yield, but if Im being fair, I bought them pretty late in the season.
We checked out in the self checkout line and a shelving unit was mispriced. One of the employees discounted the item to the shelf price with no trouble. Great customer service!!!💜

First thing I called to see if they had a patio door in stock and how long would it take to get delivered. Employee at pro sales told me we could get it delivered next day, awesome until I go in to pay for door and delivery. New employee tells me it will be two weeks to get delivered. Had to call my customer and change install date because of this. Tried the next day to pick it up and truck I brought was too short ( my fault nothing on Lowes here). Lot loader saw it would not fit and just left with door on ground not offering to help put it back on the cart. After getting it loaded from help of another customet I bring it in to put it back on pick up. Employee at pro desk then says he could get it delivered that day. I say ok and he informs me they will call when ready to deliver. Ok go all day no call, so I call the store and the lady at the pro desk, very rudely like I was annoying her with the call, says she cannot find me and hangs up on me twice! Call back talk with the manager who has no problem finding the order and informs me the door has been delivered. No call to inform me. I spend at least 40k a year at this store which will go elsewhere. Not the first time I had to deal with terrible customer service at this store. How would they like to not be able to get paid because of someone else incompetence! Very unprofessional!
Run in for just an appliance light bulb & was in there for 40 minutes!! It is very sad that there are soo many types of light bulbs & very few appliance bulbs. Had to press the need help button & wait 20 minutes for someone to arrive!! The small appliance bulbs were mixed in with all the other lighting bulbs. They have the bulbs lit up & its very hard to even see once youve been blinded by them all! Just alitl retarded... Sorry but so!

Could I find a manager....no...no luck.I hear people complain about the service.....I guess Im getting in line. Lowes (Slowes) you better wake up if A competitor comes to town like Home depot your sales will hurt.

Its home improvement... But the EMPLOYEES are definitely in NEED IMPROVEMENT. There was very little assistance, and what assistance I received was quite rude and lacking any customer service skills. Pretty disappointed... Will try home depot next time.

It seems like nobody who works there cares, seems like nobody really works there. I needed assistance and couldnt find help, instead, another customer helped me. The prices are so expensive. However I struggle to walk but they do have motor carts which helps. They have 3 and a wheelchair. I also hate how u have to enter in one door and exit the other door which is farther from the entrance, it was raining and I had to hurry to get the motor cart back to the entrance. Inconvenience.
Staff was friendly and helpful when finding the materials we were looking for. They even helped us load several wood planks.
