My experience today at Kay’s Jewelers was DISGUSTING! The associate Larencia Bethea that was supposed to help me was very rude and unpleasant. I wasn’t properly greeted when entering then as the sales person was getting my order together she broke my earrings and proceeded to tell me that there was nothing she could do but cancel my order and refund my money. The earrings were a birthday gift for my niece who turns 4 tomorrow she didn’t care that I NEEDED something. She wouldn’t replace the earrings because the ones she had in store costs more than what I spent! She did not apologize for breaking the earrings, once I said she didn’t apologize she said that the earring were sent to the store defective! Her attitude was nasty and she was very combative with us and when I got an attitude back she threatened to call the police on us! DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Sent my wedding rings off to be resized. Both came back before the promise date. This is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. My encounter when sending my rings off was over all good, until I asked for my diamond to be mapped out prior to sending it off. The employee seemed to be insulted that I asked her to do this, and stated they shouldnt be touching your diamond, they are only resizing the band. Yes, they shouldnt but I want to ensure it’s the same diamond when it comes back to me. I was called and told my rings were back in. I headed to the store, only my wedding ring had come back so far, but this wasnt specified when I got a phone call. The employer working that night (wish I wouldve gotten her name!) did not have a good attitude during my encounter with her. I asked her if my other rings were also back as I sent them off together, but those rings were in my husband’s name so just wanted to double check. She advised me only the wedding ring was in but rolled her eyes and said she would look again. After I got my ring from her, she turned away and stated, “We will call you when the other rings come in I guess.” Super rude! I will not be coming back to this location.

I bought a set of wedding rings and they came back on promised date, sized right and looked beautiful. Now Im happy with my forever wedding rings.

I have been dealing with Kay’s for 3 years now. But Thursday I went into the Salisbury location and Josie (spell?) was amazing!! She was so in-depth and thorough through my whole experience!! Josie needs recognition for her customer service and how well she takes her job serious.
