KUDOS!! The fuel pump on my 97 Chevy Van failed as I was driving from Arizona to Wisconsin to see my mother whom is in failing health. When I explained my dilemma to the shop owner, he said, Bring it in. He jumped on the job with his mechanic and had me out of there in an hour at a much more reasonable cost than Bengstons Tire and Auto Service. I drove another 13 hours without incident. I am grateful to Channel Ridge for accommodating me in the way they did. Thank you!

I had my truck at another mechanic and wanted a second opinion before committing to a costly repair with uncertain outcome. I described the diagnosis to a Channel Ridge mechanic named Matt, who have me a detailed explanation of why he thought it was worth repairing the truck rather than junking it. How this plays out remains to be seen -- I consulted Matt just minutes ago -- but I appreciated his generous expertise.

Channel Ridge was an awesome experience. My family had driven 1/2 way across the country when we started hearing weird noises around the tire (s). Went to Channel Ridge when they opened at 8am and had a repaired vehicle 4 hours at such a reasonable price. On top of that one of the employees drove us back to our hotel and picked us back up for the return trip. Great customer service!

Walmart told me they couldn’t do my oil change due to moisture in my oil pan... I called them and he told me he had time to look at it and tell me if that really was the case or not! And it was just condensation! Thank goodness, they were very nice and informative! I am going to be going here from here on out! Great people and fast service!

I highly recommend these guys to fix your vehicle. They were very friendly and professional. They answered their phone before their posted businesses hours (when several other companies didnt). They fixed my water pump had me back on the road before noon and in half the time I had excepted. I also was very pleased that they did not gouge me on the price even though I was a traveler with an emergency repair. Thank you Richard for a job well done.

Our vehicle overheated when crossing Kansas. We limped into Salina & found Channel Ridge. They quickly diagnosed the problem & went right to work on it. We were stranded so they happily took us to the Super 8 and came back in morning to take us to our fixed vehicle. Marvin, Matt, & Kevin are quite the team! I definitely recommend. Honest & fair good ole boys, thats how they make em in Kansas!

Needed my ac fixed while I was on a road trip. I called them and they said they could get me in after lunch. So I went there and there was a guy sitting at the desk and told me I needed to wait another 20 minutes for the rest of the crew to get back. When the rest of the crew got back they told me that the guy at the desk was the ac guy and I needed to talk to him. So then he took my keys and worked on it. When he could of been working on it the whole time instead of just sitting there on the computer. They were also very rude and didn’t tell me anything that was going on. I do not recommend this place.

I was traveling on the interstate and had to stop to get work done. They were extremely helpful and explained everything thoroughly. The price was very reasonable and the managed to squeeze me in and got me back on the road within a few hours. I would recommend to everyone.

My car wasnt working well 4 hours into a 10 hour drive and they were the first shop I found. I was nervous and alone in a random town Id never been in pulling up to a shop without even calling first. They dropped everything they were doing, had me in and out within an hour and had my car working well again for a reasonable price! They were great people! Id go here every time!

I was on a cross-country road trip from Colorado to Michigan when I began having car troubles in Salina, Kansas. I am so grateful I was close to Channel Ridge Truck & Auto when this happened. Marvin & his crew took great care of me-they were able to look at my car & assess the problem quickly. Marvin ordered an additional part in case we needed it so I wouldnt be delayed another day. They recommended a hotel to stay at and shuttled me there in the afternoon and picked me up in the morning. I felt like I was in the best hands possible and they were truly looking out for me. Its always stressful having car issues, especially away from home, but they made the process as painess as possible! Would highly recommend!

I go in each month for these guys to service my ignition interlock. The big man Kevin there matches my face with my name. Everybody there is always polite and welcoming. I have seen a couple rare cars there. They do very good work. I think the bad reviews are from in responsible people. I give these guys my thanks!

I was recently traveling through Kansas and my older model RV stopped running. It turned out the engine needed to be replaced. Marvin was extremely fair and kind in his dealings with a very vulnerable person 500 miles from home. I would highly recommend him to be honest and fair in his dealings with customers. I am a 80 year old disabled veteran.

Driving through Salina before Thanksgiving 2016 and my water pump gave out. I called various shops and they were the only ones who said they were busy (which was expected given the day before Thanksgiving) but would definitely try to take a look and give me an estimate. They had a bay ready for me and recognized my situation as soon as the tow driver and I pulled up and walked in. Within minutes they had started taking off the cover panels and investigating the problem. Just under two hours later they had a new pump on and I was on my way with advice for my heating coil (the heater took awhile to pump out heat) and oil changes (engine was fluttering a bit and I have an older Ford). Great advice, great timing, great service. Given the holiday and being 30+ minutes after hours, the owner gave me his cell phone number in case I had any issues or questions. I wouldnt expect exactly the same timing of service in the future, since you never know what part might be broken or how busy a shop might be, somethings are just out of a persons hands. But, I will definitely be keeping them in mind if I ever need work done and am in the Salina area again.
