The work was fantastic, no bubbles at all, got me in the same day that I called, and the bill was very reasonable, it was higher than I was originally quoted over the phone, but they took the time (before they did the work) to show and explain why (window was larger than anticipated) I respect that a lot, and I will be going back for sure.

I am a repeat and repeat and repeat customer. I used Trim & Tint on several occasions.. From 2-story high condo windows to multiple autos window tinting - I couldnt sing their praises any higher. They have top notch customer service, and their work ethic is superb. Do not hesitate to hire them for home or auto applications, you will love their work.. I know that I do, and always will!

Ken came out to tint my 2 large carport windows ... only took him an hour. Windows look great and professional.

I had a 9am appointment and showed up at 8:55am. The sign on the building said they were open so I went to go in and the door was locked. I waited until 9am to try the door again assuming they just didnt unlock it until 9am and to my surprise still locked so I knocked thinking maybe they just forgot to unlock it and were preparing for my 9am appointment but got no response to my knocking. I waited another 5 minutes until 9:05am to try the door again and it was still locked. I called the number from their website that I called to make my initial appointment and got a voicemail with a message that has a child yelling something. Needless to say Im glad I didnt end up taking my car there if this is any indication of the level of service I would have received.

They do an awesome job and very professional, they give out lifetime warranty for some tints.

I had the old tint removed and new tint applied on the rear window of my 1990 Chevrolet Beretta. Due to the shape of these windows it is extremely difficult to get the film to lay down correctly in the corners. These folks were persistent and had good communication throughout the process. In the end we were able to work out a reasonable solution and the only charged me the top of their quote even through the job took several hours longer than they had expected. I would highly recommend Trim & Tint for your next tint project. They are professional, honest and fair with their pricing. Thank you T&T!

The owners are very very sweet people, they care about making a good job out of your visit. Their work is very professional I would say, they have high quality film and they dont only do windows for cars but they do mobile jobs like buildings or in home projects. They also do clear bra and striping and other fun things. In my opinion this is by far the best tint shop in Salem Oregon! If they ever make a mistake they are sure to go back and do a spotless job, Margaret and Ken Larsen are very reliable workers, 10/10 would recommend you get your tint work done them!!!

I bought a brand new Civic and took it here to get it tinted less than a week later. Its been about two weeks now and the tint looks great. No issues so far and the price was great. Ken explained the differences in the tint and recommended which percentage and tier to use! Thanks again.

Ive had 2 cars tinted here. They are friendly and Efficient they are on the higher priced side of window tinting companys Ive checked out but the quality of the film, quality of the work they do and the good old-school honesty from these guys make it worth it. I will never trust another company to tint my cars. I have recommended them to 2 friends with them tinting at least 4 vehicals between them. Not one single complaint. Anyone asks I will always recommend them to trim & tint.

Had an appointment scheduled, showed up and there was no one there. I called and I still havent heard anything back, it has been a week now.

This is the worst experience I have ever had dealing with an automobile. I needed some dark tint removed and new tint place on my Porsche. I had an 11:30 appointment so I thought I would take the car in early around 10:00. Talked to the owner who said the work would take 3-4 hours. She also said that since it was there earlier they would try to get it in to complete the work early. She said she would call when she was finished with the car. I didnt hear anything so I thought I would call to see what the status was and when the car would be finished. It was 2:30. I reached someone, apparently the owners son who said the owners were out, but were to return soon. He said he would have them call me. 3:00 no call, so I called again. Was told by the son they owners were still not there, but the car was finished. So I decided to have my ride take me to the business to pick up the car. When I showed up at about 3:30 nothing had been done to the car. The old tint was still on the car and it was sitting exactly were I parked it. I spoke with the owners on the phone courtesy of the son, the owners said that the car was scheduled to be finished by 5:00 and they would do their best to meet that deadline. Obviously, the previous conversation and commitments didnt matter at that point. When I ask how they could meet the 5:00 deadline when it takes 3-4 hours to remove and replace the tint, it was 3:30, they had not even started on the vehicle and they werent even at the business...that seemed to bring a light of reality to the owner who said they would hate to rush it, so it probably would be best to reschedule.....Never! They offered me an apology, but nothing to cover my time, gas, inconvenience. One would think they would have at the very least reduce the cost of the work by some small portion. Unfortunately nothing.I have no idea how well they tint cars window and dont plan on finding out.How they have stayed in business as long as they say they have is beyond me....worst experience ever. Do not use this business.

Great job. The owners really took there time in getting the exact fit of the tinting film perfectly sized for my new 2020 Mercedes sprinter conversion van. I have yet to see any flaws in the film installation and the cost wasnt as bad as I had thought. They were able to get my sprinter in faster than any other shops in salem and that ultimately was the deciding factor in choosing this shop. They do have a small area to sit and watch tv/movies but I would reccomend leaving your vehicle with them and pick up later in the day or go have lunch, dinner, or do some shopping close by if you dont have another ride. Dick sporting goods is very close and some restaurants are within walking distance. Thanks for reading, you wont regret having that privacy professional installed! Cheers!

I am sad that I have to change my review.First experience was good. Second experience, not so much.I bought a new truck, so I took it to this place and was completely disgusted.When I went to pick up my truck Ken was walking around the shop with his shirt off! Not professional at all and left me very uncomfortable.Lastly, my sunstrip looks horrible and I am probably going to have to pay more money to have a different place fix it.I will never go back here.

Great price and excellent work tinting cut about 1/8 inch to the edge as it should be

We were anxious about getting our new cars windows tinted and decided waiting the two weeks of their (the owners) vacation was worth it since they did such a great job on another car if ours. Tue. morning at 9 am we worked it out to take two cars there, waited, called, waited some more..my husband took me home, went back..nothing. No phone call to say he was running late, or something came up can we reschedule, nothing. After being repeat customers and waiting 2 weeks, we said FORGET it and wont be coming back due to lack of customer service.

Very poor experience. I had the windows done on my truck and I noticed a bunch of bubbles that wouldnt go away after weeks of curing and a red fiber stuck in the back window. I took the truck back and the guy redid the back window, but was obviously not happy about redoing them...poor customer service. Then I notice more bubbles in the back window from the redo and months later they are still there...permanent. Doing tint is a very meticulous job and this guy seems to not care about doing good work. I would not recommend. Go to a shop with a better reputation.

Got my car windows tinted by Ken about a month ago. Overall good experience and would recommend.I called him up one day after deciding to get my windows tinted in my Audi TT. I brought the car by and we looked at it and talked about pricing and what percent tint level would look good. After looking at the car he told me that normally hed charge $225 for the job but that hed do it for $195 (presumably cause of some smaller windows in the front). I agreed to call him in the future and we could set up a time to get it done. About a week and a half later I call him up and we set up a time (I believe our appointment was only a couple days after I made the call). When the day comes I bring the car in and get it parked and he immediately tells me that the job would cost the $225 instead of the $195 that he told me originally. This threw me a little but there wasnt much I could do except walk out, so I agreed.The job took about half an hour longer than what I was told it would. But this didnt bother me much as I would happily wait longer than have a rushed job done. He told me it took longer than expected to do the rear window as he had to take plastic trim pieces off and dissemble part of the rear taillight. He put the trim back together and sent me on my way. After a few days I noticed an annoying rattle that bugged me enough to finally track down. Despite the name of the place he didnt put the trim back together correctly (it wasnt snapped together in some places and was overlapping incorrectly). This only took me about 5min to fix but shows a lack of detail unfortunately.Yet with these things I can not fault the tint. The tint looked exceptional. The very large and difficult to do back window looked great and any bubbles that may have been visible the day the job was done completely disappeared after a week. There was however one impurity in the driver side window that stuck out after a week (It looked like some dirt stuck in between the glass and the tint). I brought the car in once again and he quickly agreed to fix that window no charge. This was expected (he warranties his work and the tint) but never the less refreshing to see him quickly accept the fault (I was told it was faulty tint) and move on without any sort of argument. I brought it in and he replaced that window and sent me on my way.In summary I think Ken does excellent work with his 20+ years of experience and is very good at doing tricky cars (a lot of curved glass). His attention to detail can at times be slightly lacking but in the end I am very happy with the way the car looks and I believe the claims that the tint he uses is the best. I have had the tint for about a month now and plan on updating this review if the tint deteriorates.I recommend Ken (the owner) and if I have another car that needs tinting then I plan on taking it to him.

Brought my business to him on three separate occasions. When he does something wrong he doesnt like to go back and fix his mistake, so he ends up doing it with an attitude like youre putting him out. Not recommended.
