Had an excellent time on the walking tour with Rory learning about various parts of Salems history, despite pouring rain for 3/4 of the tour (!). Rory was super knowledgeable and friendly, and I learned so much during the 90 minutes walking around Salems downtown area. High recommend!

Rory hosted an amazing tour of Salem! He was personable, entertaining, and was always happy to answer all our questions. Ive been on other tours in Salem and found Rorys to be most authentic compared to the others. Ive visited Salem multiple times and the information that Rory gave on his tour was information I never knew about Salem! I would highly recommend Salem on Foot!

I’ve gone on this tour TWICE! Because it’s so good! And I would absolutely go again next time I am in town! Don’t waste your time or money on any other walking tour in town because everything you wanna know about Salem will be covered in the wonderful 90 minute tour of the city! The guide Rory is witty, well spoken and charming, not to mention the incredible lexicon of history he has stored in his brain. If you are a history buff this is the tour for you. Rory brings I tiny projector so you have some visuals of historic people and buildings to look at along the way. This tour is a hidden gem! All the way around an amazing informative tour given by someone who is truly passionate about the town’s history.

Rory is awesome. We weren’t even looking to take a tour and we heard him giving a tour to someone else and decided to go with him the next day. So knowledgeable about the extensive history of a very important and diverse city. So personal, intelligent, and not gimmicky at all. Focused on so much more than just popular folklore. Highly recommend!
