Great way to learn the history of Salem. Melissa was so knowledgeable and the way she related past events to the present put things into perspective. Would definitely do another tour with her if I ever get back to Salem.

Melissa did a tarot card teaching and then group reading with a group of my colleagues. We had the best time! She was so easy to work with to set up the session, was on time, engaged, friendly and so patient with us. She really made the experience so great. We have already discussed planning our next party with her!

Melissa was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! She didnt just give facts about what happened, but also why they happened andhow they play into modern spiritualism and witchcraft. If you are looking to see how Salem developed its current culture, this is the tour for you.

Melissa and the Witch Walk tour were absolutely perfect. We had very little time to explore Salem and felt like this tour really hit all the high points while providing connection to current events. We couldnt have asked for a better way to see Salem and learn about its past.

We did the Herb Witch tour on Halloween having been fascinated with the medicinal value of the earth around us. Ive always admired the First Nations ability to use plants to alleviate symptoms and even cure. Kate was a most informative and compassionate tour guide. Her demeanor was down to earth and I felt she was a kindred spirit, on top of that I also learned a lot from her!

Wow, I cannot say enough good things about Melissa, her business, and our experience with the tarot tour. The entire group loved the tour. It was informative, interactive, and overall a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Melissa made sure that each person in our group felt comfortable. She was so easy to talk to, and very accommodating for our group size. She took into consideration places we wanted to visit, and even gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner and live music that evening. She brought along a picnic snack with ice tea and cookies from a local bakery which was just lovely, and helped us take pictures along the way. We will definitely be back.

I did the tour on the History of Spiritualism. It was a wonderful experience well worth the $ and the trip. Melissa, the tour guide, is really knowledgeable and passionate, and took great care of us. She was really open to questions too.This is a very special education that you wont find anywhere else. It is an alternative history based in historical fact, giving credit to people for their contributions to the world that you dont usually hear about. It is not commercial like many of the tours in Salem that make me a little skeptical. This tour truly does justice, honoring the history. The little zines that came with the tour were really helpful providing dates and pictures for context. The group was intimate which made it easy to connect and engage.I cant wait to go on all the Now.Age tours and trips!!! It was so fun. A truly enriching experience.

Our Tarot Journey was such a wonderful experience! Melissa, our guide, was friendly and empathic, and immediately made us feel comfortable. After a cup of herbal tea, we sat on cozy cushions as she guided us through a brief grounding meditation. Then we began to pull cards, and things got magical. I love Melissas approach to reading; she asked us to look at the images as if encountering them for the first time, and to follow our intuition about what resonated most with us today. We explored questions about our lives based on the cards we chose, and I felt comfortable talking about my experience, as well as opening to new ways of looking at things. My friend and I both have some experience with the Tarot, but neither of us had much experience with reading this way--in community, where all of us were contributing our ideas and perspectives in this wonderful creative synergy. It was an amazing experience. I arrived in Salem hoping to learn more about the Tarot, and I did, but the most powerful part of the experience was connecting to my own intuition and interpreting the cards collaboratively.

Had the best time on this walk! Our guide was engaging and interesting, and she provided an interesting less touristy feel to our tour. It was an empathetic, and feminist approach which was much appreciated and very well executed

My wife and I went up to Salem and we thought we would check out some of the ethereal services while there. Neither of us have ever experienced any kind of reading, but we found a shop we resonated with and asked the store owner if she could recommend anyone in the area. She happily gave Lauren at NOW Age Travel + Healing a glowing recommendation, and we signed up for a couples Tarot reading. Their space with a cozy, comforting room with plush carpet and pleasing aromas that help you relax. An abundance of natural light streamed in and set the tone for an amazing experience. Lauren is a kind, gentle woman who raises your mood with her smiles and positivity. The reading was amazing. She confirmed everything we knew to be true; a lot of which we had spoken about in the previous days. We opted for the additional herbal bundle, and Lauren whipped us up a custom blend of herbs and oils to take with us that were specific to our needs both individually and as a couple. I couldnt be more pleased with the experience. I am always a bit of a skeptic, but I am a believer (at least with the right practitioner) after our reading. It was truly a highlight of our trip, and an experience I will remember for a lifetime.

What an amazing experience! We only had one evening to spend in Salem and Im so glad I found NowAge. Melissa gave a fabulous tour, she provided a history of the witch trials but also weaved in information throughout the tour to connect the themes to current events. Loved it!

This was such a great tour! It was intimate and we were able to ask questions as we walked around Salem. We saw many huge groups following tour guides with speakers and Melissa purposely keeps her groups small which was so nice. The tour was fun and very informative. We learned about the fun Halloween side of Salem and also about the history. I was left feeling so much respect for the history of Salem. At the end of our tour we went to the best shop in Salem, The Witch Haus. This store is a beautiful modern shop. I highly recommend the candles and crystal infused cleaning products. If I could’ve figured how to get the prettiest black broom on my plane I would have! Thank you Melissa!

Melissa was absolutely AMAZING. When you walk around Salem, the sheer amount of tours you see is a bit overwhelming. There are people in costumes giving tours, people with megaphones screaming at their tours of 50+ people, and then there are tours such as this one with Melissa. She was so passionate about the narrative she was delivering, and went out of her way to make sure everyone on the tour was having the best experience they could. Melissa went above and beyond the normal tour education by relating the events that occurred in Salem to similar tragedies that have happened around the world, both past and present. She also had a fantastic personality - Ill definitely be booking tours with her again, and telling everyone I know about it. Thank you again!

Went on the 3-hour Herb Witch walking workshop and had so much fun walking around Salem and learning about the plant medicine thats all around us in the nature that we tend to ignore in our busy lives. Kate was an excellent and knowledgeable guide, and I appreciated the gluten-free cookies at the end of the tour while we made our own tea blends :)

WOW. I have so many great things to say, but I will break it up into categories.Space: Located on an adorable street in Salem, this is an inviting, calming, and all together hip place. The decorations and layout were clearly very thought out and you can feel the TLC someone put into the space. I kinda wish I could take a photo and tell everyone its my apartment...People: I saw Lauren for a Mini-Tarot reading and Grace for a Mini-Astrology session. Both women were professional, positive, so so so kind, and really made the experience easy and fun.Experience: So cool. I walked away with a little more knowledge about myself, reaffirmed in what I know to be true, and a clearer /calmer mind. Any that was only after mini sessions! I have to go back, as the time flew by and there is so much more to discuss.I highly recommend for anyone who wants to dip their toes in the water, or for certified scuba divers ;-)

I came to Salem with a group of feminist photographers and other business owners and creatives for a retreat. I honestly didnt know what to expect, since Im not what I would call a witchy person necessarily.We had a group tarot class and a walking tour of Salems Spiritualist history with Melissa of NowAge, and any expectations I might have had were totally blown away. Melissa makes everything approachable and accessible, and possesses an incredible amount of knowledge shes more than willing to share in an easy, interesting way. I loved the way she explained the tarot, and had a great experience exploring the deck with my cohort. The Spiritualism tour was thorough but not dense, and we easily spent two hours learning from Melissa as we walked around beautiful Salem.After I returned home, I reached out by email and mentioned I was heading back to Salem with my kid, wondering if she had any suggestions for tours. The email I received back was so above and beyond--Melissa took the time to craft a careful, helpful response with links to kid-friendly tours and sights in Salem.I cant recommend NowAge highly enough. Definitely the people to get in touch with if you want the best Salem visit experience.

I took two tours with Now.Age - the Tarot Journey and the Witches Tour. She has ruined me for all over tour guides. She was the perfect balance of personable, informative and witty. There wasn’t a question she couldn’t answer and I learned so much from hearing about her perspective on the town of Salem and it’s past.

We took the Spiritualism walking tour with Melissa and absolutely loved it! Melissa was knowledgeable, passionate and very personable. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a new and wonderful way to see parts of Salem you wouldnt on any other tour.

Just got back from a trip to Salem where my boyfriend and I were lucky enough to get our tarot read by Lauren. My whole experience was fantastic! I booked two tarot readings through email with Melissa who was super helpful and easy to communicate with. I noticed on the website they did not have any readings available for July 12th, which happens to be my birthday and one of two days we would be spending in Salem. I sort of jokingly asked if they would be willing to schedule a special birthday reading given we would be travelling down from Montreal for just a few days. To my surprise Melissa responded within minutes saying Lauren would be happy to meet with us even though it was technically her day off! I was so happy to see them go out of their way to help us out. Lauren was a gem, her reading was genuine, fun and insightful. She had an amazing energy and it felt like she was one of my closest friends despite only knowing her for less than an hour. It was literally a 12/10 experience, zero complaints, just perfect!

I am very excited to know that Now Age Travel & Healing has opened their doors and is starting their tours! This is a wonderful addition to all the other cool things happening in and around Salem. They have a great group of people and I look forward to working with them!

I cant say enough good things. Ive been itching to give a reiki session a try for awhile now, but kept chickening out out of shyness (talking to strangers?!). I finally went for it this weekend and Jess was totally brilliant. I felt comfortable the moment I arrived, the space is beautiful, and I left feeling like I could take on the whole world. Ill definitely be back.

I travelled with a group of witches to Salem over the weekend and Mellissas tour Withes 1692-present was EVERYTHING! To have the perspective of a woman, historian, and Salem native respectfully and carefully guide us through the heartbreaking history and complexities of the modern witch experience alongside commercialism was the antidote we needed after a wide-eyed tour of some of the more typical tourist spots. I felt that we were invited to participate in an evolving discussion and that her insights into othering are exactly where the current discourse should live. Melissas overall warmth, sense of humor and curiosity made the tour intimate and fun. Overall I would say, for me, this was one of the highlights of our visit and if you are looking for something authentic and heartfelt then this is the one.

Me and my sister did the Herbalism tour with Kate and Melissa today! It was beyond our expectations! They totally accommodated for us because there wasn’t originally a tour scheduled during the days we were availabile, but they made magic happen for us! Super fun and informative! Kate was amazing with her herb knowledge, and Melissa had a lot of knowledge with the actual history around salem. Perfect tour to learn how to bring the magic of plants into your life, while also getting history on salem itself. I HIGHLY recommend Now Age tours and plan on taking another one when we come back to Salem! :)

A couple of weeks ago my sister and I did one of the 3-hour fieldtrips with Melissa. It was great fun to tour the city woth someone so knowledgeable, and who was able to see and express the story of Dalem from multiple points of view.The day after I had a readind and Reiki session with Madeline which was another great experience. It was peaceful, relaxing and most importantly refreshing... I certainly felt revitalized after our session.

Their Workshops are a great way to experience Salem!!!
