The first time I came in to the store a group of ladies were nice and helpful on Friday. Today was totally different. I asked a simple question about the helium and he responded impolitely. He handed the balloons to me rudely. Definitely will not be returning!

I have worked in retail/customer service for seven years now, and this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If I could write them a -5 I would. The lady working at the counter took 45 minutes to blow up 10 balloons for me. She told me next time I need to order ahead even though I brought my own balloons in. The next day the balloons completely deflated because she put barely any helium in them. I tried to get a refund but they said my balloons were low quality, and I know for a fact they were not low quality because I blew one up with my mouth and it blew up twice as large as what she did. Very very disrespectful employees. I highly recommend going anywhere else. Also, their prices are outrageous.

The balloons we purchased were pretty and durable. Enjoyed supporting a local business instead of a big chain store.

Apparently nobody picks up a phone at this store. Ive called five times and have yet to get anyone to answer the phone during the middle of the business day. This is a great way to lose customers.

The south Salem location is closed Permanently. Had to go to Lancaster. I let Michelle, the lady worker know that it would be nice to change there website to reflect the closer of that location. She used a sweet voice, but very condescending, and told me that it was out of their control.. and a lot of things are just out of peoples controls these days. No apologies, no Im sorry for any inconvenience, just very condescending. I think I will just order off Amazon next time. Whatever happened to customer service??

Very Good selection of party and special seasonal holiday items. Only store in town to be sure youll find what youre looking for, in my opinion. But Some things are pretty overpriced.

If you need anything to do with a party or a celebration or things like that, this is the place .

Had everything thing we needed for a Thomas the train birthday party

Great staff. Poor quality balloons. Kind of expected my $20 balloon to last more than 12 hours. My dollar store balloons are doing great!

Very helpful staff. They helped us blow some balloons up for a high school graduation. We brought in our own balloons and they had no problem filling them with helium. Great selection of products and are willing to help out with everything. Great experience.

This party Mart is closing sadly, however the Lancaster party mart is the closest thing to this one and the staff are extremely nice and helpful! Currently they are not going to be open any longer at this location

The employees at Party Mart are fantastic. I am always able to find what I need. Their ballon section is amazing and the employees do a great job on all their balloon bouquets!

Wonderful place friendly staff with plenty of selection for any party that you may have to plan. We went here for my sons first birthday party and had a fantastic time picking out decorations not to mention the staff was extremely helpful in helping us find whatever we needed. Dont forget to pick up a party confetti cannon good for any occasion I believe they were only seven bucks

I arrived to the store around 9:45 on a Friday morning. My intention was to purchase 5 helium balloons and a few party supplies. It took me about 5 minutes to select my merchandise and they do have a fair selection. I got in line behind the only two other customers in the store. There were two clerks behind the counter. The first clerk was busy with the first customer in line (who, in fairness, was a high-maintenance customer with many needs) while the 2nd clerk (presumed owner) was busy answering the phone and declaring how busy they were, which baffled me because there were only three customers. After standing inline until 10:10, the 2nd clerk finally began helping the next person in line. He was very gracious, in fact offering to come back later to pick up his order. Then, instead of asking me if she could help me, she spent several minutes organizing the work space behind her and getting the other clerk to work on the phone orders. By now there was one other customer in line behind me (a man). She then asked, who is next? even though we were in an obvious line. She asked if we were all getting balloons, I said yes, he said no. She then said she would ring him up first then. I did speak up and say Id been waiting almost 30 minutes. He graciously offered that he wasnt in a hurry and that she could help me. I thanked him and offered (so that the clerk could hear also) that I had an appointment at 10:30. By now it was 10:15. She did begrudgingly accept my merchandise at the counter and take my balloon order, but then stopped and rang up the person behind me saying, Im not going to make him wait while I blow up your balloons. I did point out that Id been waiting almost 40 minutes at that point. I suggested that perhaps the 2nd clerk could help me since she was working on phone orders for people who were not actually in the store. The owner/clerk said no, she could not. Ultimately, I had to call and cancel my appointment. I did not conclude my transaction until 10:35. It took 50 minutes to purchase 5 balloons and some paper plates. I said to the owner/clerk that it seemed like the best way to get service there was to phone in and she agreed. I mentioned that another way to get better service might be go go elsewhere and she also agreed with that statement. That is my suggestion to anyone in need of party supplies and/or balloons. Go elsewhere.

Ordered balloons over the phone for a birthday party. When I arrived (about 30min later) they were ready and exactly what I wanted. A bit sad the location is no longer open in Keizer. But nonetheless, I had a great experience!

Unless you have an hour+ before they close, you Will be treated like an inconvenience!! It has happened to us more than once.. Also they are pretty expensive, but being the only Party store in town, I guess it is to be expected. They do have a cute selection of balloons!

Didnt have a magic theme area but had tons of stuff that can be used for my rare request. Worker was so sweet, my daughter needed to use restroom and she got me the key while others were waiting for her service. Also connected my child into the experience and made it fun. I did not feel rushed at all, then again I didnt come in 10 mins before they closed like a moron would, and had a great time with my daughter.

The staff was very helpful, when I asked to direct me to sections for Luau, Pirate, Galaxies/stars, Mardi Gras, balloons, streamers, glow in the dark, construction, and SO much more! I planned Overnight camps and supplies were definitely needed for games and fun activities. Not too pricey that I wasnt willing to buy it. Streamers were actually a really good deal. Cheap and fun for kids.

Incredible selection of party goods. I have never seen the amount of ladies filling balloon orders at one time. I was on the lookout for wedding invitations. The Lancaster location is the only one that supplies those options.

Cant get a phone call answered after several days. Have an event coming up and need balloons, but cant place an order because no one has picked up the phone after 20+ attempts. Now I am going to have to rwnt a helium tank and buy balloons on Amazon. Pain in the rear, but Ill save $$$ and time.

Pickup for balloons was easy, but our order wasnt correct and we didnt realize until we were setting up for our party and didnt have time to go back.

If I could say zero stars, I would. The boss was a total jerk and talked to me like I was stupid. I ordered 18 balloons for almost $30. My boyfriend went to pick them up and the ribbon for the balloons were so badly tangled and knotted. I still cant untangle them. Before guests even started to arive To my party, balloons were popping randomly. Beyond annoying. Way overpriced and very rude know it all staff. Ill never return!

Over priced, rush you out mentality, and hidden return policies. Its sad when corporate chains treat customers better than local shops.
