We prefer to use local businesses if at all possible and found this provider about five years ago. They have always been incredibly friendly and helpful. When we kept dropping service, they quickly helped us find a fast, easy solution and got us back up and running within the hour. We appreciate that different options are presented and thoroughly explained. Excellent customer service!
I was very pleased with B2X as they provided quality internet connectivity to remote locations; however, we’ve now been down for 4+ days and they are closed for the holidays. While their customers are without service...THAT IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! My understanding is they received a grant to expand services....I can only hope they review their response capabilities for outages, as they will need to be better to grow. Very disappointed right now....during this pandemic year, connectivity is more important than ever, and that doesn’t appear to phase a company that provides that essential service. Your stock would be tracking towards zero if you were publicly traded.
In October of 2020 b2x installed my satellite and my modem and said I could get service at my residence. THE end of December I called because I had no service yet and they couldnt give me a date. I called them in February said definitely be on in March. THEY emailed me on March the 4th that my service was up and running. Then they called me on March the 5th it was a mistake that the pole and been damaged by ice and was taking longer to fix than expected.On March the 23rd b2x called and said it the service was ready and a service person would be out on the 25th somehow I missed him and he left a note that I was in a hole and couldnt get any service I didnt have my modem plugged in. CalledB2x on the 25th said they would arrange someone to come out on the week of the 28th to pick up equipment havent heard anything. Im very d upset and I have a hole in my wall because they told me I definitely would be able to pick up from b2x
I cant even get the company to reply to emails, voice mail, or FB messenger as a potential customer. Cant imagine how the treat you once they get your money. I was asking about data caps, etc.; since none of this was on their website. NOW I KNOW WHY.
Most of the people are friendly to work with. Their speed is not even close to being stable. I realize with things like they are now it has put a strain on their system but That much of a strain? Im paying for max 6down & 2up. I see those maybe 1/3 of the time. All day today was 1.8 down and .38 up! Really? Cant play games or stream movies. I like the company but they really need to do something about their product.
Have really enjoyed working with them. They really care about their communities and are working hard to expand to reach other rural areas surrounding Campbell County and Appomattox County Virginia.
B2X Online provides internet to customers who other wise would have to go without or pay ridiculously steep prices for the bare minimum. They are easy to work with, understanding, and their customer support team always goes above and beyond for each and every single customer each and every single time! Highly recommend!
If you have no other option then I would consider them. Keep in mind that if you are in Bedford County the county is building 11 towers you will be able to get service from. You will have to pay for the install up front of about $260. Make sure you can monitor their speeds and hold them To agreed upon service agreement. Also be aware one of the 5 star reviews is from their office manager so take that into consideration.
Their service is close to abismal sometimes. Internet outages are a common occurrence which is rediculous. Not to mention speeds are terrible also. Unfortunately for most of Bedford County you dont have much of a choice. Just because you are one of the only ISPs in Bedford County doesnt mean you can be content with your terrible service. Fix your stuff...
They have come out a total of three times to set up my service, and are always on time. There was a little trouble getting my internet to actually work, but they came out a second day and worked hard to be sure it was fixed right. Theres always been rapid response from the business office and going back and forth getting the account set up and they have been very friendly. Im very pleased with their work and their conscientiousness in making sure things are right. They also worked and found a creative solution to the problem of me living in a remote rural area. I now have great internet! Thank you!
Great concept for rural areas but Ive had their paid services for over 3 months now and it is still highly unstable. Call to talk to them and get the same answers every time but no results. Until this is resolved will stay a one star. Completely unusable for me in its current state for me.........its been three more months now and I felt the need to come back and update my review. Bad thing is there is nothing to report. 6 months now with the same excuses and inability to fix my services.
Simply do not recommend them but all there is.🥺

Just moved back home from college. Had this isp over a decade now, ran speed test from ookla and i receive a ping of 60 and above with upload and download never reaching above 5mbps. I cannot see any speeds we’re supposed to be getting on their website which i don’t think has ever been updated. Although I’m located near sontag, rocky mount, va. I do a lot of gaming/streaming and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to comfortably game or stream with this isp :’( I could go on and on about how bad i want to try anything else
I have had this companies internet for years. Last Monday, the internet went out for my whole area. They fixed it today but did not get mine up and running. They now want me to wait till next Wednesday for them to get a technician out to my house. One thing that they have always been on time with, my bill. I am done. I am just going to use my cell phones hot spot from now on.
I have been a customer of B2X since 2011. They have provided an excellent internet service to me. I am always able to watch livestream TV and movies with no lagging whatsoever. I work from home so I have to have a reliable fast connection to perform my daily functions. When my adult children come home they can play their online games with no disruptions. I highly recommend B2X for their fantastic customer service and excellent internet speeds. 5 stars for sure!

Unreliable connection and service is way slower than advertised 90% of the time. Customer service only has a few tricks. They will tell you to reset your router, then they will reset the tower, then they will blame it on your router or divert the blame in some other way. They never follow up in an attempt to make your experience better.
We have had this service long before B2X took it over, Im talking years. And whenever we had an issue Dennis would always come out and fix it. Unfortunately Dennis passed away and the company was taken over by B2X. Well, needless to say this company could care less about what kind of service we are getting. We have had more problems than ever before. The last time they actually came out and replaced the exterior cable I was told that those who were with the company under Dennis would be getting upgraded equipment. And that all the towers but ours have already been upgraded... But when I call and asked about the upgrade they say they have no time frame as to if/when that will happen. Our internet is so bad I have been trying to load one page for over 20 minutes!!!! Yes, 20 minutes. Sadly we have to use our cell phone as a hot spot to actually get reasonable internet. Last week my husband called them 5 times in one day!!!! When he told them we might have to find another provider they didnt care at all. We are wasting our money on a service that is literally non-existant. I really want to call the BBB on them and see what we can do. What a worthless company. Cant wait to switch to a better provider very soon.
Brought affordable internet to my family who were considered unreachable by other providers. they went from paying close to 100 dollars for a 1 meg connection through hughesnet to paying less and getting more.
