Sky does my nails and she is just amazing!!!! My nails are always look pretty. I usually do dipping powder plus gel art on top and gel pedicure. I get so many compliments on my nails everywhere I go.I love coming here to get my nails done. I used to come every two weeks but since I moved to Boston, I cannot come here that often... now I come here every 1.5 month. But the nails last really good!!! I just cannot go somewhere else and it’s totally worth to drive one hour to come to this salon!Great place to get your nails done!

After not having a pedicure for more than ten years, I was excited to get a pedicure at The Salem Nail Bar, with my sister, who was visiting from out of state. I made an appointment ahead of time and received reminder texts from The Salem Nail Bar leading up to the appointment. Each text led to anticipation of the big event. I was hoping this would be a special time and The Salem Nail Bar did not disappoint. The sparkly clean and open atmosphere was very simple and inviting. When we arrived we picked our colors and were seated next to each other, right away, with Sophie and Vincent and enjoyed the massage chairs during the individualized pampering. I had a luxurious hot stone massage with the perfect gel pedicure, taking off a decade of wear on the souls. We both felt rejuvenated and our feet were so very pretty. I am looking forward to my next regular visit already. The prices are just right, and the atmosphere was peaceful and spa like- just the right combination. Thank you for the care. Edit: it has been over a week since our visit and my nails are as shiny and as perfect as the day they were done. Wow! More than happy.

I got a full set acrylics done the other day, she cut my finger with the electric nail buffer, my nails were not filed from the underneath I have acrylic pointing into my skin. The color and shape is great but the job was not fully done or done correctly for 63$. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

Im not giving 5 stars only because I did not like the way I was talked to by the receptionist who made my appointment. I dont do my nails that often and when I call and asked questions the guy told me that they were busy, and I just wanted to know the difference in prices between gel and powder dip. The ladies who did my nails were very nice and did a great quick job. I do recommend this place 👌

My mother scheduled herself for a manicure and pedicure and they were able to accommodate me (I did not have an appointment) but the receptionist told my mother she did not have a second appointment scheduled after her manicure. He then proceeded to tell me it was miscommunication however she very clearly communicated that she was scheduled for both appointments. She was heard because another employee asked why she wasn’t getting her scheduled pedicure with her. When she asked the receptionist about he was nothing but confrontational and unapologetic. He was rushing his employees and and making her very clearly uncomfortable with the amount of time she was taking. Overall the situation was extremely rude. We tipped our server and left shortly after. The services are rushed.

I went to go do my nails with my friend and The lady I had rushed my nails I sat down for 10 minutes and she rushed the entire thing only filed my nails then threw gel polish on. Then after she rushed my nails she sat up front on her phone !!! It looks like I painted them myself . Huge waist of $33 .I’ve been to this place twice and both times I was extremely unhappy.

Hannah did my nails and I love the outcome! I usually get a very pointed tip and most other places dont get them as sharp as I want but she did so good that Im literally only going to the nail bar for the rest of my life lol Im so happy I was smiling the whole time she was doing them! Worst pedicure Ive ever gotten -- for $33 youd think theyd do some sort of massage. Didnt even file/touch up nails. Dont go.

I was recommended this place by a friend who had a good experience and goes here whenever she gets her nails done. i thought i’d take a chance, i paid about $70 something and came out with thick (from the shilac) uneven nails. i’m really disappointed honestly because i was looking forward to getting my nails done here. i won’t be going back, not only because of how expensive they are. but because of how poor the quality of my nails are.

Rude-all round rude and theyŕe expensive-all i got was blue with glitter and my index fingers comp[letely glitter-they charge 15 dollars in lynn for that and they accused someone whow rote a bad review of lying and taking advantage of them. shame on yall

If you are looking for something a bit out of the ordinary, you want to visit this nail salon.Update: While it is a nice looking salon, I am dissatisfied with the way pedicures are done at this salon. I have now tried three times, with three different nail person and everytime I get a pedi, the day after I get a pedi, my feet end up worse than how they were initially.I am unsure if they do it in purpose as to provoke a sooner visit for another pedi or they flat out dont know what they are doing.I think three times is the charm and I will not be going again. Best place for nails on north shore. Seems busy but that’s because they’re amazing. Vi is the best at nail designs (She does something amazing on my daughter every other week) she’s so talented. Leni is like the toe master. I have a job where I stand 10-13 hrs a day 6 days a week and I get serious ingrown nails and she is the ONLY person that knows how to clear them out completely. For my finer nails I’ll go to anyone and have NEVER ONCE left and been able to find anything wrong. Everyone does great work in a timely manner. Love them all. Owners are also super welcoming and always get us in. Tip these girls well they deserve it.

A great place to get your nails done.Whenever i am in the area I love coming here. Clean and very professional. I got the mood change polish and am so happy with it. The color goes from orange to red depending on your body temperature.

I got dip manicure and gel pedicure to be honest it was average nothing amazing however my total was $98 not including tip which to my surprise was more than before covid for a job that is just acceptable the price seems too much to me of course i did not argue and payed but yall best believe that will be my last visit.

I love coming here to get my nails done. I come every two weeks. Hannah is my manicurist and she always does a tip top job. Before when I used to get my nails done they would always break my hair would get caught underneath the acrylic. I haven’t had that problem once here. I always get a gel color with acrylic on my nails and a gel pedicure.

Ive been coming here forever and have never had a bad experience. They can always fit me in last minute and usually on my lunch break. Most recently I had Jenny and she is exceptionally amazing. I came in with a picture and she made my nail dreams come true. Ill definitely be seeing her again.

Super super picky about my nails and i only get them done on special occasions. this place is the only place i can depend on for cute nails. i love my nails very long and most places mess up the shape when they’re long, but they always make them look clean and nice! have never had a problem with them falling off too early. soooo excited to book an appointment with them before christmas!!

Used to love this place but no longer. Just had a gel mani / classic pedi, which is supposed to take 75 minutes - I was done in 50 minutes. The technician was talking to other technicians the whole time, often stopping altogether to look at the person to whom she was speaking. She pulled my hands out of the lamp before the cycle had finished because she rushed through painting and didn’t want to wait. Rushing on both processes lead to pain and too closely clipped cuticles that are now red and sore.

This place is awesome. They are clean, professional and friendly. No wonder why everyone has been talking about them. Love ít.

So I spent 50 on my nails then a $5 tip I got them done five days ago and one already came off ! My pinky finger sticks right up in the air pretty much !Other then that wait was not a problem, and the girl really focused but also focused on everyone else around as well !!!

I have been using them for years. Jenny is my go-to girl but all the staff are great, as well. The place is clean and welcoming, has lots of color choices and application options and the equipment is new. They have tons of staff so even walk-ins dont have to wait long. They also use modern technology where you can get a text reminder of your appointment. Lots of parking too. I highly recommend!

Had my dip powder manicure with Kelly and my nails came out beautiful. Lynna did my gel pedicure and it was great as well.

Clean, professional and honor their work. Depending on the nail tech my nails would lift after a couple of days, and you would go back at no charge.

Lyna is wonderful and always does an amazing job. The staff makes sure to greet everyone that walks in and is very accommodating when booking appointments over the phone.

They over book so much!! You will make an appointment (not a walk in) and be waiting 20-30 minutes to actually get your nails done! That being said once they do your nails they do a great job, but I have been late to multiple appointments due to their inconsistency in appointment security and timing.

Great atmosphere. My technician Vy always knows what color to recommend based on my skin tone. Everyone is so kind and personable.

The appointment felt hurried. The nail tech rushed. I paid $45 for a dip powder manicure and it lasted less than a week before it started to chip. Usually it lasts me 2 1/2 to 3 weeks when I gone to other salons. Will not go back.

I made an appointment for a gel manicure on a Sunday. When I got there, there was confusion with a few patrons on who had an appointment and with whom. After all of that, one tech started on my nails then passed me off to another tech which I didnt mind at all -- till I realized she didnt really know what she was doing. Long story short, my cuticles look worse than when I went in and the polish is sloppy. It took an hour and a half and cost me $5 more than at other salons. It took so long and it was so busy there, I felt like it was pointless to state that I was unhappy and I had somewhere to be within the hour. I wont go back, but I will say the girl sitting next to me got acrylics removed and a gel manicure in about 40 minutes or so and hers looked great. I think your experience here will depend on which tech you end up with. Good luck.

I’ve been looking for a new nail salon & a good pedicure. So glad I checked this place out. My pedicure by Leny was awesome. She took the time to help my poor feet where they really needed it. Definitely recommend. $30 for a pedicure & $42 for a Mani & Pedi 👍🏼👍🏼

I have been coming here for a little while now and I love this salon. I usually see molly and she is amazing. If molly is not available I have seen Jenny and also Vi and have loved the way my nails came out everytime. Never had a bad experience here till today.Love that I called around 4 and they closed at 530 and they were still able to squeeze me in. They always do a great job with that.Today I had vivian and I am very disappointed.Everytime I come here i get the same thing, full set with gel polish. I asked for two layers of the top coat because i work in the medical field and im always using hand sanitizer and with two coats it last longer, I always ask for two coats and there is never an issue. Today after my nails where done I looked at them and they were a reck ! There where dinks and nicks all over my nails, and vivian tried to say it was because of the two coats but iv never had that issue before with molly or jenny. 2nd she made my nails extremely thick ! So thick that they looked ridiculously stupid !When I walked back in to have them fixed the owners were very nice and said that vivian would fix them. I wanted someone else to fix them but at this point i just wanted to get them fixed and get home. So i sit down to have her fix them and when I begin to tell her how overly thick they are she got aggravated that I wanted her to fix them. But again I just left it alone because at that point I was already so upset that they looked so ridiculous no matter what she did they wernt going to look how I expected them to.After all that, after she fixed them, they still look horrible. She did such a thin layer of nail polish you can see through the nail and there is still dinks and nicks in them. Paying 55$ to get ur nails done and having them come out so bad is the worst !I will still be returning here because it is a beautiful salon and the customer service is always great, but I will never get my nails done again by vivian.Ill stick with molly, vi, jenny, or kelly.

Went in for a Mani/Pedi of which I was overcharged but they also didnt file my toenails down or paint them! they also dont speak English well at all. I wanted to use up my gift card ($8) because I sure as hell wasnt going back there, and they wouldnt let me use it to buy nail polish, then he said you can use the gift card for a treatment or anything contradiction or what? I said is all this worth $8 to him? he said yes and he also hung up on me.

Got a gel this past Friday. I broke and chipped one of my nails last night.....my fault. Went back this morning to get it repaired. Told the guy at the counter that it was my fault.... The nail tech, Tym, removed the damaged polish...looked at the break. Repaired it with an overlay and repainted it. NO CHARGE !!!Nice customer service !!!!! Ill be going back.

Awful! The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because of the discount I received after having my nails botched up. 25% I went in for my appointment only to find out my appointment wasnt with who it was supposed to be with, I checked online reviewe about the person who my appointment was with and to my surprise it was with someone else. So this was my first time trying dip powder... I tell the lady that I wanted a full tip set with dip podwer she starts to dip my real very short nails. I explain what i wanted again. So she starts putting the tips on, she squeezed the glue bottle too hard and covered my entire finger with nail glue. Ok.. Not a big deal, accidents happened. She peels my finger from hers. That accident happend again on 3 More nails... Doesnt try to help remove it, she wipes her fingers off though.So shes now cutting down the tips to my desired size. I explain Id like them shorter so she cuts more, ok that looks ok. I also tell her i like them very square.. She said that duribg the filing shed make them as square as I want.So now shes dipping.. Ok now shaping my nails rounded off square. Not VERY square as I had asked. She cuts me, ill pull back. OK. Whatever I guess. So after all is done I wash my hands, I realize she cut me prettt good!! Im bleeding, I return to the chair. I ask her for thr septic drops so I could stop bleeding and not get an infection. She looks at me like I had 5 heads. So finally she grabs the drops, puts them on. Ok.. So now I am all done I guess. I give my nails a look over, all my nails are different sizes in length and width. I go up to the desk and express my concern with my nails and why. They did offer to fix my nails and gave me a discount I refused my nails being fixed. But i wouldnt recommend them at all. This is the second bad experience Ive had here. If I could post the pics here I would.

I really like that place because they never denied in service considering I call the same day for my appointments and they have a loyalty program! (5$ off on your 5th visit and 10th visit FREE). Havent been there 10 times yet, but the program does work well.Every time I go it seems rather full. They do have good amount of colors for selection and the interior also looks great.The only thing I strongly dislike is that nail technicians would be rotating in one visit! Has been happening to me every time and Ive noticed its just the way theyre working. So it would be one person removing your gel (or even more than one), a different one doing manicure and coverage. So if I want something very specific, I need to repeat and explain my request every time someone new comes.

Salem Nail Bar is a clean, efficient, beautifully run nail salon. Yesterday, I had booked a mani pedi appt. From the time I arrived Jenny made this an uncomfortable experience for me. My request for non-latex gloves was a long and pointed discussion about how vinyl gloves melt with acetone and that she was almost sure they had no alternative for latex and how expensive it is to purchase such gloves. Next, she swatted my feet around while, rushing through every step of this supposed relaxing service. After the pedi, I was swiftly ushered to the nail bar for my mani. Just as I sat my technician took a request for an eyebrow wax and didn’t return for about ten minutes. So now I know it’s not my imagination so I alert the owners and they are gracious and assure me they will have someone else finish my appointment. I thank them and Jenny ends up finishing my mani with no eye contact and too much tension for me, the customer who came to pay for a service. I tipped her 20% and left.This is a great nail salon and I hope this prevents this type of service from being toleratd. All I wanted was a mani/pedi without attitude.
