We asked for an estimate to replace two boards on our house that had some dry rot. Not only did the person who came out not wear a mask while coming to our door, but the estimate to replace 2 boards was nearly $1000. Obviously they just did not want to do a smaller job.

My husband and I live in an apartment complex that 3Rs has been doing some work on. We have had a wonderful experience with them, the guys doing the work are polite, courteous, and very professional they are replacing all the doors on the property and when they got to ours they took my husbands PTSD into consideration and were very accommodating with making sure they notified us before making any loud noises and putting our door in a day early. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting construction work done on their home.

Horrible experience. Personally, I believe we were mislead and lied to on numerous occasions. Workmanship was terrible, and nearly everything they touched in our house had to be redone. We have had other wonderful contractors since, so my recommendation is to hire literally, anyone else.

We hired 3R construction to build an addition to our home last season. The team were very helpful right from the start. They helped us look over design plans, get the plans approval, all the way to the end. This was a huge project for us but they simplified it for us and made us feel at ease. The new home addition is lovely and we are very grateful to the entire team.

I called on a Monday with a last minute request for some miscellaneous repairs prior to a home inspection for the sale of our house. They arrived the very next day, on time, and prepared for the variety of tasks. Ken and James were great and the price was just right. I highly recommend them for any home repairs you may need. Jobs they did for us: drywall patching, squeaky floor repair, various tasks in our crawl space.

From our initial contact with Carl in the office to Casey the field manager we were most impressed with their friendliness and professionalism. Then Jimmy came out to do the work and he simply reinforced all the positive feelings we had earlier. After 21 years in our previous home, our family moved to Salem. Renovation of our newly acquired home was necessary to meet the needs of our family. We completely gutted and rebuilt the kitchen. This meant we basically had nowhere to prepare and store food, Duane and his team worked quickly and appliances that were installed first were the ones we needed most. In order to keep the dust down, our home clean, and protect our little dog, the work area was secured at the end of every work day. The end result is a kitchen that belongs in a magazine!In addition 3Rs installed a kitchenette in our lower level and expanded a half bath into a gorgeous full bath while using a tight space very efficiently.3Rs not only does renovations but has come when our home, that was empty for at least a year prior to our purchase, became riddled with huge spiders. He sent someone out very quickly and sprayed the house for both spiders and ants.3Rs has also performed work cleaning and repairing our gutters; killing and cleaning moss from the roof; and repaired a burst pipe. For the burst pipe, we called late at night. Duane immediately helped us turn off the water by giving us instructions over the phone and then he and some of his crew came very quickly to bring fans, fix the problem, help clean, and call the insurance because all work is insured and guaranteed! 3Rs has also pulled up carpet, cleaned the area under the house, installed new bathroom hardware, and installed all our light fixtures.Needless to say Duane, Tammy, and crew have been a God send to a family that has been ripped off in the past and have been left feeling unsatisfied. When working with 3Rs you become part of the family. We knew every persons name as they were introduced at the door. You are treated with respect, care, and they realize how much is costs YOU to go through a renovation. They are a truly caring, careful, and quality company that we will use, probably, forever.

I found myself in a position where we needed a contractor I could trust- and 3R’s came highly recommended. We had wind damage to my late father’s home four hours away from where I live, and dealing with the insurance issues and trying to oversee the work would be difficult at best. 3’R’s handled everything from start to finish, including the insurance negotiations! 3’R’s did exactly as they promised, and I would not hesitate to recommend them!

During the recent heavy rains, we had water seepage into the basement of a property we own. We called Duane at 3Rs who promptly sent a crew member to investigate and mitigate the formation of toxic mold. The quick response certainly saved us a significant amount of money in mold remediation. Even more impressive is the fact that Duane had just had a significant surgery, yet still responded to our needs. Thank-you 3Rs for a job well done!!

Awful awful. We asked them to come out to bid a mold removal project. We got quoted 20 grand........for a project that shouldnt even be 1/4 of that. Its not like my house is infested with mold. When he called my husband to give us the quote he said it was great to meet me, and I wasnt even the one there. MY HUSBAND was the one who met him there. He was there maybe 20 minutes according to my husband. Obviously they dont care about their customers, or want to give them the light of day. We will be going somewhere else.

Signed the contract on Friday, picked out the paint colors and left them on table inside the house, left Sunday for a scheduled mini- vacation to Leavenworth WA, got home Tuesday and the job was 99.9% completed. We started looking around for the cameras, we thought we were on House Makeover. They were back the next morning and finished the job. We would recommend this company for its honesty, professionalism, quality of work, and promptness. We will definitely be using them for future projects.

Duane West, CEO, helped me tremendously in dealing with a mold issue in my apartment. Duane has gone above and beyond to provide professional advice on some very complex remediation issues, and I highly recommend him without exception. The management company was saying there was no mold, and Duane pulled one of his guys off of another job to have him at my place in Monmouth in less than an hour to get the contact tests done and sent off to a third-party testing facility out of state -- which provided a very detailed, professional report confirming molds that I could use with attorneys and with the management company. Duanes immediate grasp of the gravity of the situation and his willingness to act quickly made all the difference in my outcome. He has been unfailingly thorough, cooperative, and professional; and I will definitely use him and 3Rs Construction for any future construction needs or mold remediation issues.

A month ago all of the window flashing on the East and West sides of our house failed during a windstorm, allowing water to start seeping in through the drywall. I called 3Rs and they were out the next next day and replaced the faulty window flashing, belly banding and trim despite the weather being crummy, so that there would be no further water penetration. The following week, they came in and replaced all of the damaged drywall and did an excellent job matching the texture on the walls. In the future if I ever need home repairs, 3Rs is who I will be calling. Duane and Gary and Alex and the rest of the crew are great folks who are honest and upfront about costs and the process.

I had a great experience using my Groupon coupon. Robert sealed my deck which didnt take as long as he thought so he helped with another project I was working on in my yard. I appreciated his flexibility and his professionalism.

Called them for an estimate on Monday. They scheduled one for the next Monday. Person came out, we went over details, and I waited for the estimate. After a week or two, what I got back was a joke. There were so many basic mistakes. The worst part was the price.. $158,055.00!! The only things I wanted was to remove a wood-stove chimney, replace a couple of windows, new siding, new porch, and new deck. I can almost build a new house for that price. All other estimates were in the $60k range. Just wow.

Last month we sold our home and during the inspection process discovered that we had a BIG radon problem. We contacted Duane from 3Rs Construction to discuss our options. We didnt want to delay or complicate our closing and Duane took an all-in approach to our unusual radon problem. I appreciate their responsiveness with my 1999 Silvercrest manufactured house needs. I had them for the new roof, new air exchange system, re-level job, and mold remediation guidance/information. The new roof is beautiful!I did not have them to treat the mold but they are willing to try to help you to pinpoint the source of the current or old water leak. If they could not find it, be patient and keep working with them. Eventually, it will be found. Mine was the water leak from outside siding. From there you could fix it yourself or have them to treat the wood for you. They hold creditable information you need to know. My dad has 40+ years in finishing contractor. 3R construction exceeds my expectation as a finishing contractors daughter. They will tell you what they do with the project. I consider them honest.If I have another construction related needs with sufficient funds, 3R construction would be the first to hire. I would recommend 3R construction to my family and friends.

Ive needed to have professional testing for radon in our home since we learned from a home test that our count was high. When I left a message on 3Rs contact us home page asking them to test for radon, I was skeptical of hearing back. The next morning Duane called and scheduled to come by and bring testing equipment. Duane and his crew at 3Rs are really top notch. We were not really expecting to have to tear our kitchen apart and re-model it, but that is how it played out. 3Rs had originally come to our house to clean up a mess under our house caused by some old pipes. The service itself was at a price that was hard to beat. When Dom had finished his work under our house, he noticed the water damage that had recently occurred from the dish washer in our kitchen. After a few pictures and a meeting with Duane, 3Rs was able to work with our insurance company to replace everything that was damaged, and then some. Duane and Casey worked with us, and around our schedule, to get everything done to our specifications. Our satisfaction was one of their main concerns, and that is something to appreciate.

We needed a section of underlayment and subfloor boards replaced quickly before installing laminate flooring in our newly purchased home. 3Rs Construction Management were able to evaluate and repair the floor section the same day I called. I was very impressed with 3Rs, and would use them again for home repair or remodeling needs in the future.

We were in the middle of selling our house, and the buyer’s inspection found a couple of surprises that our pre-inspection did not. 3Rs responded to our request for work with a tight deadline and even finished ahead of schedule. They didn’t try to upsell us or pressure us into doing more. As they dug further into the job, they found an additional surprise. They could have charged us more but instead stuck to their original quote. They were willing to work with our buyers, as well, to ensure that the buyers were comfortable with the work that was being done. The 3Rs team has been an integral part of the sale of our home and we’re incredibly grateful for their partnership. We’ll absolutely be working with them on projects in our new home and highly recommend them.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. The do have some very capable staff, Victor was great and a true pleasure to work with. As for Duane West and Cathe West they are both in my opinion liars. Casey in my opinion as a project manager is inept. The project could not meet timelines, I was told over and over again work would be done Friday,Duane Could not explain why my front door was left unlocked with busted key holder hanging off knob, we had several issues that had to be addressed, some several times. Both Duane and Casey blamed sub contractors for difficulties and myself as the homeowner. They cannot explain the their own billing process except to state it is lump sum. Only one customers review, but as one home owner to another you can find a much better company to work with.

This is an unethical company who conducted business to take advantage of people and situation. They misguided me by letting me believe that my homeowner insurance company requested them to put dehumidifier in my home. When I checked with my insurance, no one was contacting them. They said they will forward email from insurance company and never did. The bill for 5 days service to dry crawl space with 1-2 fans and dehumidifier was almost 2000$. They also hammered tiles in my kitchen stating to prove the extent of water damage and said they have to break more tiles for $8000-10,000.

We hired 3Rs to do mold remediation in our attic. The whole process from start to finish created only minimal disturbance for us. Mold remediation done by anyone correctly is expensive, so we wanted to be sure we knew exactly what we were getting for our money. 3Rs gave us several options for treatment of the mold, and Duane was always very helpful in explaining the differences between our options. I was kept very well informed during the whole process of exactly where the crew was in the multi-day process, and they left our garage (the entry point to the attic) in very clean condition when they finished. In fact, as it turns out, they went way above and beyond what we agreed on, and they ended up treating far more than we expected, at no additional expense to us.Duane was always very responsive with any issues I had. When we had a few canister lights that got pushed down during the process and were hanging into our kitchen, he sent out someone within a half hour to fix them, and also to give me an opportunity to climb up and see the work they had done.I know I will use 3Rs again for other home projects in the future because we have had nothing but good experiences from them.
