EDIT: Originally gave 5 stars. They had my car for a week and a half. Gave me a written estimate and when I went to pick up the car - like magic it was almost $1000 more (no verbal or written consent given for these repairs). This place was great and now its just not. Go someplace else.Its hard to find a mechanic you trust and this is my place. Ive been bringing vehicles here for years and will continue to do so.

I paid for a diagnostic test on my Infinity truck. He said my radiator was bad I paid for a new radiator I pick my truck up and it was still overheating took it back the next day they had my truck for 2 weeks so I had to pay for a rental and than he said the hose was bad got that fixed and its still overheating.They told me to bring it back but I dont trust them.I wasted over a 1,000 with these ppl.I would not recommend this place to anyone you will be wasting your money going to this place

One of my boat trailer tires blew on I-75 and everyone else I called referred me to some other company that might be able to help. Ken didn’t do that. He dug in and solved the problem himself using his network of people in the area to find us a tire - on a Saturday when most places were closed! He found a tire, drove out to the highway to grab my wheel, took it to a tire shop, got them to mount it immediately and then came back out and reinstalled it. Because of Ken we were on the water all afternoon. I haven’t experienced this kind of service from ANY business in a long time. Thanks Ken!!

If you want to wait awhile and then grossly overpay for repairs then this is the spot. If you don’t want to be completely taken advantage of then I would go elsewhere!!! My car broke down on 75 just past the Bridgeport exit and to have it towed to where I live would have been over $200 so I decided to save money and have it towed there because it was the closest and I was using their towing service. Long story short it took 2 weeks to have my alternator changed, the only repair they did.I drive one of the most common cars you see in this area. It’s a basic Chevy nothing fancy. I paid over $660 for them to replace the alternator. The alternator alone cost me over $450. I would have had my car faster and cheaper even with a more expensive tow.Cost me a lot of money to learn that they are scammers! Lesson learned and I hope others can learn it from my experience rather than having to pay

MUST READ!!! We just picked up our vehicle from Gobeyn’s. We had it there in January. It took them a week and half before they fixed it. No calls from them that there was a delay in checking our vehicle. They eventually checked it and fixed the vehicle. It cost well over a $1000. They “supposedly” completed a 27 point vehicle inspection. After having the car back for about 2 weeks, my husband noticed the vehicle was leaking. Took the the vehicle back and tomorrow, Thursday, they will have had the vehicle for 3 weeks. Again, no calls from them as to the reason for the delays. Granted, Michigan had the polar vortex, but a professional business should maintain good customer relationships. My husband called this morning, and they still hand not looked at the vehicle. We picked it up as we were told they probably couldn’t get to it until next week.Took it to another repair shop just down the street directly after. Within the hour we got a call back letting us know there were a number of issues that should have been noted if Gobeyn’s did in fact complete a thorough 27 point inspection. That said, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!!!

Got in a bad car accident. Called insurance company to have vehicle towed to home. Vehicle was rearended but still driveable. Was sent to hospital in an ambulance because of the impact. I had it towed because I didnt know how long I was going to be and had no other means of transporting vehicle. I had my wife make specific request of contacting us before getting there as we had the keys and vehicle was locked since I had a couple thousand dollars worth of tools sitting inside. I also didnt want it dragged on to or off of the tow truck. She told them that she would meet them there but to contact her first. They said 30-40 minutes. They said they wouldnt tow it if we werent there. They actually ended up being there early. They didnt call us. They unlocked my vehicle after they were told we had the keys because the driver assumed some keys sitting on the passenger seat were for the vehicle. The driver dragged my vehicle on and off the tow truck even though they didnt have to had they contacted us in the first place. Very unprofessional and will never let them touch one of my vehicles ever again. I will never ever refer them to anyone!!
