This is a great office, the staff gets back to me the same day of leaving them a voicemail usually a few min later. they only charge $25 for paperwork that I request done, while my old office charge $100-$150. Dr Trivedi is a really great Psychiatrist who truly cares about her patients, she even waived my copay so I can get the treatment in her office. new office staff at front desk has really stepped up to providing the best customer service. The pharmacy is always messing up my medications but Human Touch fixes whatever the issue is and calls me with updates or provides samples when possible while I wait for pharmacy to get it together.Thank you Human touch!
Dr. Trivedi is a great doctor who listens to me and helps me out anyway possible. I did 4 weeks of TMS and her staff was also great took good care of me and my privacy. I will continue seeing Human Touch Behavrial Services. Thank you Dr. Trivedi for all your help and kindness.
The staff is impossible to reach and do not respond to my pharmacies calls for refills authorizations. I have been out of medications for over a week now. I cannot stress enough that this is the worst practice in the Sacramento area, if you value your health and well being DO NOT even consider this practice.
NP Okwu is amazing! Best practitioner I’ve had. She listens and knows exactly what I mean when I’m trying to express something that is hard to convey. She is awesome at coming up with solutions with me and has a holistic perspective. The only complaint I have is that when I call they usually don’t answer. I leave a message and takes a while to hear back. But the staff is friendly and helpful.
Nice people, but nothing but problems with billing. Latest incident was I arrived for appointment which they cancelled without notifying me because they were not sure they would be reimbursed by my insurance company. I have received psychiatric care from several providers without issue, but this one cannot get it right and tells me I need to straighten it out with their billing company, not their office. So, Im out, Im finding a new provider. If anxiety is your problem, do not add to it by dealing with this business.
Where do I start Dr. Trivedi is a blessing to have in my life. She always welcomes me with a warm smile and kind words. I’m comfortable talking and sharing everything with her that goes on in my life. Her advice and suggestions with what I need to hear from her is always helpful. She’s not one of those doctors Who prescribes you a bunch of medicine you don’t need she prescribes by helping you with comfort and putting you on the right track to a healthy life with the right medicines. She has help me with my self-esteem attitude staying positive and so many other things. Thanks to her I am on the right track now and taking Less medicines for my conditions which makes me so happy. That should tell you something about her she cares with open arms. Every session I have with her she is honest real and always has a smile when she’s listening. Last month in my session. She said to me keep up the good work you’re doing with helping yourself I’m very proud of you. I said I couldn’t of done it without you. I have felt better than I have in the last six years and I have been seeing her for three years now. I would highly recommend her and the staff is wonderful and welcome.
I have been seeing Dr. Trivedi for almost one year. I would like to recognize Mayra she manages the front desk in a very professional way. She’s personable and efficient.Victoria is a therapist. She is warm, comforting and most of all open and very easy to talk to. I thank you both for making my experience pleasant and non judgmental.
Absolutely terrible. Could not get a hold of office No return phone calls. I spent $300 for no follow up at all. please look elsewhere. this doctor is unavailable for her patients.
Review Scores:Google: 3.3Yelp: 2.5Healthgrades: 3.9Vitals.com: 1.8Webmd: 2.3Generally the staff are friendly & knowledgeable, but are not just a group of therapist, but a company(according to Dr. Trivedi). This means they may help you, but like any company, once they get paid; meaning money is their first propriety, not the patient.Let me explain, by example of some of their policies:If you are 10 min. Your session may be cancelled, but you still need to pay your copay. Meaning, if youre late you may not get to see your therapist, and depending on your copay you will pay $20-$80 for nothing. You would think since you paid, whatever time is left, youd get, after all we arent paying the therapist to drink coffee; are we?At some point they will ask you to fill out a form of rules. These are some company policies they want you to initial and sign(this is a Legal Document) so their lawyers can hold against you.1. You will show up on time, they already have a policy that if youre late your session may be cancelled, so why do they need you to legally promise to show up on time?2. To see a therapist here, you will guarantee to sign up for a minimum of 12 sessions, Ive seen therapists for years, this is the first one Ive been legally bound to a minimum amount of sessions.3. If you miss a session you will be charged $100, ok, they want your copay, plus they want another $100 for missing a session.Dr. Trivedi says these are company policies and if you dont sign the form, then they will not offer any services.Human Touch is capable, but only if you agree to pay them first, and follow their rules. If question them, they will label you as being disrespectful and inappropriate.Buyer beware!B Yslas
I take my 63 year old uncle there who has a long-time diagnosis of schizophrenia. He and I both love Dr Trivedi and her wonderful dog Buddy. The office is beautiful and cozy. The staff is friendly and make my uncle feel right at home and accepted!
Dr. Archana is very friendly and caring, she puts her patients 1st ahead of even herself and cant turn away someone who needs her help, the staff is very friendly. The only issues I have had is with my prescriptions not getting filled on Time or being sent back to pharmacy when request is sent over and they have a very strict cancellation policy and charge of $100 if not cancelled within 48 hours of appointment unless you have a doctors note there is no exceptions, Regardless of family emergency, transportation issues or anything else that Im aware of and if youre more then 5 -10 min late your appointment will be cancelled and rescheduled. Most other psychiatrist office have long waiting periods, are far away or dont except Medicare but Dr Archanas office is in a great location, they do except Medicare and it is pretty fast to book your first appointment with her and she just opened a new Elk Grove CA office making it even more convenient. Overall I would recommend her and her office.
Dr. Trivedi cares so much about you as a person, not just a patient. She will do anything she can to help you live a functional and happy life. I highly recommend her.
Dr Trevedi and her staff are wonderful !! I love this practice, honestly for me personally I feel that they saved my life. I do mean literally. I was at a point with my depression that nothing was working anymore, Dr Trevedi really listened to me, and she knew what I needed. I trust her completely. Also have to say she has the best staff. And Therapy program.
Dr Trivedi is a wonderful, caring & compassionate person. She makes visits with her very stress free & this is comming from a person that has problems going out in public & meeting strange people. I highly recommend her for your psychological needs. & yes she accepts medicare at this point in time which is extremely rare.
Dr. Trivedi does not know how to manage her staff. She did not take a complete history. After 1st consultation she was unavailable. NP Linda Okwu is completely incompetent, lies and discounts patients. Phone messages get lost staff blames the patient. Victoria LMFT is the only bright spot competent caring listens and u understands. After 2 vists with Okwu and being accused of not leaving a vital message regarding meds misprescribed on Okwus part. I fired the lot of themSTAY AWAY FROM THESE PROVIDERS. Id have give 0 stars if I could have. I repeat stay away keep searching.
Scammers! They want your credit card information before anything. Stay far far away.
Impossible to get ahold of after about a month of calls and voicemails during office hours. When it was needed and I was told prior they get back fast on a urgent matter by my care doctor lol.Edit update: I finally got a answer about a month in, I was told by my doctor it was for some reason they call for appointments but its the other way around either way for a place to take 1 month and half to respond back and to Act all okay with the wait period of that with not even an apology or explanation well youre for certain i declined there help since I be scared to see how long it take as a patient to get ahold of them, you all are better off finding people through the medical plans site for doctors then waiting here trust me.
Quality has improved and really appreciate the fairly quick and prompt responses. Thank you all for the help
Dr. Trivedi is an absolute pleasure to see. She gives a warm smile each and every time I enter her office, which immediately eases my anxieyies. She is great at finding the right mix of treatments. All in all I would highly suggest her.
I was treated like family and felt like my well being was the top priority of everyone working here. I felt like everyone knew who I was and treated me with respect and courtesy.
Dr Trevedi is warm, extremely knowledgeable and kind. She listens before any treatment plan, and actually cares how the treatment plan is working. She is very refreshing.
I was left high and dry by human touch behavioral health. The last time I needed to get ahold of them I called three times in a span ofoa week and did not receive a call back and have still not have recieved a call back. They did not renew a contract with my insurance as of Oct. and did not let me know. My last appointment was out of pocket. My family and I moved about two hours away and my last appointment I had to commute. I saw Dr. Truvedi and she said I needed to find another psychiatrist that was closer to me. I called to try and get a referral. And still have not heard back from them. There was no problem either with anyone from the staff or my doctor. I thought we had a good relationship and then they just didnt ever call me back. I do have to say that Dr. Truvedi got me on the right medication for my postpartum anxiety.
Archana Trivedi absolute best. A consultation/diagnosis that made me feel like I was talking to a friend that cared about me. That makes going to the doctor something to anticipate and not dread. She is awesome, very patient, understanding and caring. She really takes time for you.
The doctor herself believes in overly medicating her patients. Late cancellation fee is $100, regardless of reason for the cancellation. Wont allow to schedule new appt until the late cancellation fee is paid. The staff is crude and abrupt in their interaction with the patients. They also announce the patients private and medical information loud enough for the entire waiting room to hear. Thats a violation of the HIPAA lawHuman touch they call themselves? More like inhumane.
Terrible care. Dosent listen, lies to patients. Staff and Dr. Are rude and inauthentic. A med slashing Dr. Dont listen to her lies.... dont come here for any quality care.
Doctor Trivedi is ok I felt rushed with little care or interaction between myself and the Doctor. Her office staff is rude and unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment for follow up and it never got scheduled. Now I have to wait 2 months for my next appointment. My insurance needed a prior authorization for medication she prescribed me it took 3 weeks!
I will allow the below email to explain why you should NEVER SEEK TREATMENT HERE. I was finally able to speak to the prescription coordinator about an hour ago, and was rudely informed that this is not their problem - even though they caused the problem.Dear Dr. Trevedi, and hopefully also (my therapist), as I have expressed frustration to her on similar issues many times,On July 3rd I attempted to call the office to refill my prescriptions. It was an urgent need due to a sudden job offer out of state. (We have all discussed the job offer in question - the one Ive been waiting for, in Oregon. I received the offer a few hours prior to calling the office.) In spite of repeated calls, I was unable to get anyone on the phone or even to leave a message, as your automated answering machine would repeat itself twice and then say goodbye and disconnect the call. I resorted to sending the office a postcard begging for help. I finally received a call back on Monday, and was able to speak to someone. I was assured that my medications would be called in to the Beaverton Oregon Rite Aid that afternoon. They were not. The next day I called again. Again, I was assured that my prescriptions would be called in that afternoon, and again, they were not called in.My insurance was cancelled Tuesday at midnight. I had fully met my deductible. The cost of my medications would have been $0. Now my insurance is gone. Please see the attached screenshot of a text sent from your office estimating the cost of these medications without insurance. (Since I cant attach the photo to the review, its over $2,000.)I was able to find coupons and generics and brought the estimated cost down to approximately $300, which I still do not have. I am in Oregon, staying with friends, starting a new job, attempting to learn the new job, and staving off panic attacks. That is me on what is left of my medications. It should be more than apparent from my records that I struggle to function without my medications, or when I attempt to ration them, as I am doing now.I am beyond angry. I am incensed. This situation is not my fault. There is literally nothing more I could have done. It is also completely and utterly inexcusable. I am without my medication due solely to the repeated negligence of your staff.I am also terrified. I had no contigency plan for my psychiatrists entire office going radio silence on me. What am I supposed to do?Continuing the review - I am spiraling back into illness and they could not care less. Do yourself a favor and go to Sutter instead. They actually answer the phone.
Fantastic mental care center for illness person. I am very well when treated by Dr. Trivedi and feeling comfortable our life. My mental problem is gone with the help of medication. Thanks to Dr. Trivedi for treatment.
The representative for this medical practice was very unprofessional when I called seeking services. She was both curt and unkind, a clear signal that she has been improperly trained or is not competent to be employed within a mental health medical practice. Be cautious, no “human” or “healing touch” here. When the staff is rude and insensitive, I’m not going to trust the physician .
Staff is Rude & Unprofessional. Doctor Charges $25 for any paperwork that insurance requires them to fill out. Whether its a standard questionnaire or request from another of your doctors. Practice seems to be more about the money less about the care!!!
