I am typically not very enthusiastic about seeing dental doctors. This place was amazing and it had the best dental experience by far. Welcoming and highly precise.Highly recommended

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Grivas. I went in for a routine checkup, having no pain or known issues. He examined me and said I needed two partial crowns. He gave me the crowns, and Ive had pain and discomfort ever since, even after he revised them.After the revision made nothing better, I called to have the crowns examined again. When they tried to reschedule me for that a second time, I said that if he was just going to order a CT, I would go ahead and get it. They said that he would order a CT, so I went in and got it. He did not read it for almost three weeks, and then he read it only after I called multiple times every week. He was unable to see anything wrong on the CT and referred me to an endodontist. The receptionist said they could transfer the CT to an endodontist, but that is untrue - no one will accept my CT, and everyone I call, including the endodontist to whom the receptionist referred me, says I have to get a new CT at their office. I wish someone would have explained things to me better. Now I have to get radiated again, and I still might not discover the issue.Dr. Grivas never spoke with me about my issues. He always had a receptionist speak to me, and she wasnt knowledgeable enough to answer my questions.

Great Customer Service and Dr. Grivas has all the latest technology. He lets you know in advance what is needed and what it will cost so you can decide on a plan of action that best suits you. He and his staff arw also very friendly and attentive to making sure you have a comfortable experience while in that chair.

I went to Dr. Grivas 6 years ago to have my metal amalgams replaced. He did an excellent job, but was far from my home and work. The dentist I saw in the meantime would praise Dr. Grivas work every time I saw him. I am retired now and have the time to go the extra distance so I am back with Dr. Grivas and just as pleased as I was 6 yrs ago. His staff is excellent and caring and the fact that I can get all the work done in one session is especially convenient.

I have been coming here for years and love my experience every time! The staff is wonderful and they perfect their work every time. I never leave unhappy! I am currently doing clear correct and cannot wait to see the results when I am finished :)

They treated us like family, Ludie and I even dished on the latest happenings on Gossip girl and House during my exam. I have been coming to Dr Grivas for over 8 years.He and his fellow dentist Dr Koett are amazing!Their staff is super friendly. The office is very clean!I have had many procedures done here.Never had any issues. They offer nytris oxide, they have blankets and pillows to insure your comfort.I was happy to hear that getting my crown happens right at the office. They digitally make the crown right in their office. They are very technologically advanced! They have a 3D TC scan right in their office too.I just can’t express what an amazing office and Dentis Scott Grivas and Will Koett are.They have also taken great care of my handicap mother. They are gentle with her and they truly care about her.They are my dentist for Life !!!

I was in tears, visibly shaking and extremely nervous throughout my crown procedure. Over the last 20 years, every time Ive had something done at the dentist, Ive requested nitrous as I have a serious aversion to procedures and needles. At every other office, Ive been given nitrous for 5-10 minutes to help ensure Im comfortable and calm BEFORE anyone comes near my mouth. As the assistant was placing the mask on my face, he was gloving up to administer the Novocain. At that point I said oh no- that already? Im deathly afraid of needles and the nitrous hasnt hit yet. He very impatiently told me to take a couple breaths as he sat over me, needle in hand. After a minute, he told me to open and he gave me the shot. This all occurred within the first 3 minutes of my interaction with Grivas, and didnt start things well.At this point, my nerves were through the roof. I was visibly shaking, and thats when it got the best of me and I stared to cry (who cries at the dentist?! I can cross that off my bucket list.). Immediately my nose got stuffed up, and guess what you cant feel, if you cant breathe through your nose?! Nitrous. Everything just started going downhill at this point. He started to get on me about not breathing through my mouth because it was toxic for them if I didnt. So I was breathing as best as I could through my nose- not very efficiently, but I was breathing, to appease his request. He got frustrated with me and took my protective eyewear off because he needed to see my eyes since he didnt think I was breathing deeply enough (understandable, in case I passed out in my attempts to be a perfect patient for him & rush through our procedure by barely breathing nitrous through a stuffed nose from him making me cry. *eye roll*). Now, the MAIN reason I was there was to have an amalgam removed safely- eyewear is necessary to avoid the toxic dust from the drill. When I asked for glasses, he got mad! Finally his assistant understood why I was asking for them and got a clear pair so they could see my eyes and still have me protected. All of this was a disaster and I felt so vulnerable. It felt like my comfort level was of zero importance to him and that any delay to ensure that the nitrous had adequate time to kick in in the beginning, was a terrible inconvenience to him, yet would have prevented everything that transpired afterward.When we were halfway through a crown (appx 10-15 mins later) he turned off my nitrous. I asked at that point what was left to do (he said to create & put the crown in my mouth) and felt my anxiety over the situation come rushing back. I started crying silently again, not sure what to expect. I told him I was nervous and he said that that was when they shut off the nitrous. No sorry, lets get you comfortable or I understand youre nervous just, thats the end of it. I calmly told him I was a wreck and that this was turning out to be the worst experience at a dentist (complete lack of compassion) and what did he say?! He told me to CALM DOWN!!. First, I wasnt belligerent, or out of line. I was nervous & had requested nitrous to help with my nerves and didnt understand why, with tears streaming down my face, he didnt keep me in a comfortable place for the time I was in his chair. What I was asking for wasnt out of bounds and any compassionate Dentist would have seen I was struggling/continued to struggle through the procedure. Is turning off the nitrous and telling a patient to calm down when she says shes upset the best way to handle things? Not if you want to avoid reviews like this.5+ stars for his office staff. I had entered thinking I may have found a new dentist office for my family and left with tears streaming down my face.There are so many other great dentists in this town. Save yourself the potential of sub-par care from Grivas, and go to someone else.ALSO- THERES A SIGN THAT SAYS FOR EVERY “5 STAR REVIEW” you give on social media, they’ll enter you to win free Zoom teeth whitening”. So take those 5 Star reviews with a grain of self-serving salt.
