Chris is awesome. He made the whole tear down and build back of my bathroom and new floors a stress free process. His best quality is he is very down to earth and communicates in a way that builds trust as a friend. He will go out of the scope of what he has to do in order to please the customer. I know Im not easy to deal with and even when we had problems come up he handled them and always put me first. Top notch customer service with attention to detail and most importantly a down to earth easy to deal with personality. My only reason for a 4/5 is not even because of Chris but because I felt like a couple of the guys working for him lacked attention to detail for the price point of the job and they had to come touch up stuff in regards to paint craftsmanship a couple of times. (Chris was still willing to send them out and do whatever to make me happy however.)

On May 13, 2021 I experienced a water leak due to a second-floor toilet wax seal failure. Fortunately, the water had not damaged anything but a wet line in the ceiling below. My condo association immediately dispatched BluSky Restoration, and within 15 minutes I received a call from Chris Rubio, BluSky project manager, to assure me that all would be taken care of. Chris immediately dispatched Daniel, who was here before my plumber even came to fix the toilet. Daniel was meticulous in covering the entire area with plastic, and cut a precise hole in the ceiling to assess the extent of the damage. He installed a dehumidifier to dry out the area, and came back the next day with tools to determine that the area was completely dried out. After removing a dehumidifier, he reported back to Chris Rubio, the project manager, who then sent out a sheetrock specialist. Oswald was just as neat as Daniel, covering the area with protective plastic, and replaced the sheet rock, textured, feathered, and painted. Since the paint blend did not match exactly, Chris Rubio came back, reassessed to the job, and measured for a complete ceiling repaint. He dispatched Raymond, who because of his diligence completed the painting of the entire ceiling in one day. And of course, like his predecessor workers, Raymond covered all floors, paintings, appliances, and furniture with protective plastic, and upon his departure left not a spot of paint in the house. I feel it important to mention that my insurance company was slow to respond to every step in this process, but it was BluSky, and Chris Rubio in particular, who kept me informed and lead the way to get this job completed. In summary, for a job that is essentially minute for a company the size of BluSky, I feel I was treated as though I represented hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue for BluSky. In contrast to the slow and almost painful response from my insurance company, BluSky’s professionalism, precision, cleanliness, knowledge, and deportment was a blessing. In this day and age, it is a pleasure to make such positive comments on a job which, from beginning to end, was handled with great professionalism.

Blue Sky has done restoration repairs on my condo 3 times. In each occurrence, I have experienced a professional team that produces quality results. The project director, Chris, is a pleasure to work with and is always responsive. He gives clear directions to his team and they get the job done. I have worked with Diego, Jorge, Dominic and Walt (the carpet guy). All of these guys are terrific and exhibit excellent customer service.

Sandra McCombs(Vice President), came to my place, looked around at the structure, I wanted to get fixed. She told me, she didnt have right instruments to do measurements and all, so she will send her guy to get deep evaluation ( as I had to give this report to my insurance adjustor), but instead she emailed my adjustor the report, without even sending any guy. I called her cell, texted, and even her office 3-4 times in 2 days (her receptionist transfered to her desk, but she didnt answer or reply to my text until 4th day). And she text replied on 4th day saying my guy will come and will look around from street, which is around 25-30 meters or can say more then 100 feet. And when I asked should have called me, she said, I thought you wont be home, guy has ladder, would have looked from there. HOW CAN A PERSON DO MEASUREMENTS AND EVALUATION, from 100 feet away. And her guy never showed up, been 3 plus week already. My adjustor closed the case because of her bad evaluation, which she never did SERIOUSLY.

I manage several Homeowners Associations in the Sacramento area and have used BluSky for the last several years. They are extremely responsive and timely in their follow-up. They take the initiative to help with more difficult homeowners where other companies have declined the work and always make sure the homeowner is well taken care of at the end of the day. I wouldnt trust any other company to handle leaks/fires/etc. at my properties.

I had an unfortunate situation involving water into a bedroom and a collapsed ceiling. I turned it over to the insurance company and a headache began as they rushed to do testing, and tear the damaged areas down to the studs. Then the insurance company told me I was on my own to find a contractor. Luckily, one of the people working in relation to the abatement gave me the name of BlueSky Restoration.Chris Rubio of BluSky responded to my call immediately. He work quickly to get a proposal submitted to the insurance company who then kept claiming they never received it. Chirs and I kept sending it to the insurnace company and they kept claiming they never received it.Even though the insurance company kept saying they never received the proposal, Chris Rubio of BluSky worked professionally and cooperatively with me so we can get paperwork finalized and to get the work completed on the Project. Once the work started it was completed in a couple of days. Even though the Project was completed, Chris kept working with me to make sure the insurance company properly responded to the proposal. In the end the insurance company approved the entire BluSky proposal without modification. To me that means the proposal was complete and reasonable.
