Make sure to ask for Donny, Ged or the other guy. The fourth guy absolutely butchered my hair today. One of the worst cuts of my life. Just pick the right person at this place and everything will be fine.

I had been letting my hair grow out so I could get a low fade. I showed him pictures. Asked him to not go high. I walked out with a high fade. The fade is uneven. The thing is once they go to high they keep trying to even it out. Making it worse and worse. I’ll keep looking for a barber in Sacramento but from the other reviews it’s a roll of the dice.I leave two stars because he did take a good amount of time trying to give a good cut.

I asked for a trim of my hair and the person cutting my hair cuts half of it off. Now my hair is way shorter than I asked and I couldn’t even say I didn’t want that because I wasnt facing a mirror while getting my hair cut. I would also say we had good communication on what I wanted to be cut but for some reason he still ruined my hair. I am very unsatisfied especially when I was growing my hair out for 3 months. Also it’s not even cut straight there is a god dam jagged line on my forehead.

Great barbers, friendly, have been left more than satisfied every time Ive gone for a haircut. If youre looking for a great haircut to show off to the world, this is the place.

Had to switch barbershops due to turnover at my last shop. Tried out Main Event today. Young guys in there kept it fun while giving a great cut. I will be back. BTW there are three things I need in a shop - quality cut, neck and side burn straight shave clean up, and good people. This is my new go to shop for a cut since it has those three and is right next to a brewery.

Great barbers at good prices around 30$ for adult. Shout out Ged great barber who will leave you looking fresh.

One Sacramento best barber shops

One of the things I appreciate in a barbershop is the attention to detail from the barbers and the rich atmosphere. This place goes above and beyond those expectations and gives not only great personal haircuts but amazing conversation. There have been many times where I have noticed their attention to detail with a line up.

Wow this place is awesome! Ive been to 5 different barbers in the East Sac area and finally found my permanent shop. These guys are very friendly to talk to while sipping down a cold beer. Wished I could give 6 stars. Thank you!

So glad I found this barbershop. I used to be a regular at a popular local shop, where I got very good, consistent cuts, but just never felt at home or comfortable, so I would just glue myself to my phone until it was my turn. Not here at Main Even East Sac. These guys (I believe Eli, Felix & Ged?) are super friendly, chatty and hilarious. Atmosphere is light, great music, sports or something interesting on the TV (last time I was there, starwars was playing) and lots of joking around. I even got a tattoo recommendation from one of the guys. All this, and a great cut to boot!Needles to say, this will be my regular spot for the near future.

Great haircuts and very reasonable prices. Barbers are all pretty young but professional. They could use a female barber to expand their clientel.

Found this spot by luck and Im glad I did. Great haircut, great music and great conversations with Eli and Felix. Plus...its right next to a brewery haha. Will for sure be a returning customer!

Jed was closing the shop but when I stopped by he stayed open to give me a haircut that worked out really nice. Will stop by again this time before it closes.

This is a great spot! These guys know how to cut hair! And they are chill and kick back guys. No basic turn around cut. Attention to detail and pride in their work. They are tucked away on Elvas. Don’t get your haircut anywhere in Folsom... make the turn on elvas and come see Felix, Eli, or Aaron at main event barbers. Then grab a beer at the Porchlight brewery afterwards! 🤙🏼

Great service, very clean inside and the barbers are very competent.
