Travis is a great barber! He is friendly, efficient, and fairly priced! Been going to him since I moved to Sacramento in March of 2019

Came in once two weeks ago and got a nice cheap cut and told the guy named jim Id be back in two weeks on Saturday again to get my beard trimmed lined up. Sadly at 1:00pm no one seemed to be there even though it said it was open till 4:00pm on the door and online. I walk to this spot from about a mile away so wont be coming back since no one answered the door or phone.

Three months in America and I had yet to receive a satisfying haircut, until now.The guys in this barber shop are truly committed to the customer satisfaction. They listen to my lengthy and confusing request and executed it as desired.Definitely recommend! 💈

The haircuts are good, but on a couple occasions theyve been open with the door locked and a sign up saying they would return at a time that had already gone by. Call ahead if they dont answer Id stay home because theyre likely not there.

I have got my haircut by everyone that Ive seen working here and every time it came out perfect and exactly what I wanted. Been looking for a good barber for awhile that is not outrageously priced. Just remember, cash or check...no credit or debit here.

Took my 80 year old dad in for a haircut this morning, first time here and it wont be our last. My pops enjoyed all the conversations with everyone in the place. Great service all the way around and his cut was fabulous !!!!!

Called and asked guy that answered the phone. If they use straight razors there and he said “No! You can’t use a razor to fade. I have to go bye! “ and hung up on us! Are you serious? Who cuts hair and doesn’t know about using a. Straight razor for a fade!? Idiot. We won’t be going there! Would have gave it zero stars if I could!

This is the worst haircut Ive ever had. I will never go here again and encourage anyone who needs a haircut just wear a hat instead of walking in this barber shop.I asked for a two on the sides(towards the top) and to taper it up, in the photo I showed him its tapered with a zero gradually going up to a two. Travis just started cutting without asking anything which he should have done if he was confused on what I wanted. He even cut the top without asking how much I wanted off. When he checked in with me half way he said it looked like a zero in the picture for the taper and I agreed saying yeah. Why would I show him a picture if I didnt want them to match up?? He needs to try and understand where his customers are coming from instead of being defensive. Would give this place 0 stars if possible.

Travis rocks the cut every time. Ive been coming to him for years. Found him years ago from a positive 5 star Yelp rating. Every star earned. Ive tried other barbers around town and they are ok. But when they Fu$@ it up. Travis fixes just the way I like it. Save yourself the hassle of ruining your style. Go to La Riviera barber shop. Bring cash. Tip well.

Ive been coming to this shop for about 2-3 months now and its been great. Ive gone in for buzz cuts and couldnt be much happier. Its a tiny shop so prepare for a wait if you decide to go late (around 3ish). I go earlier now to avoid the wait.
